  1. So IR3 only affects the maximum bloom in accuracy you can get on it? That would be too little of a downside especially compared to the other barrel mods, I think. Ill have to inform my teammate of this though, he needs to slap IR3 back on it.

  4. You know so little about gaming in general....... DAMN. This will not change by adding headshots, its a general issue in many games and stems from the way netcoding is done. It is incredibly hard to make it so that that situation can not happen. It demands the kind of server-client communication which very few games can actually provide and even if they can, often enough not without its own cost. Just stop dude, I'd say while youre ahead but we are well beyond that. This is not a threat on my part but the more you post like this, the more likely you will be trolled till your departure from the forums, having added nothing, having gained nothing but frustration. I hope this gets a smirk out of you, I also sincerely hope you are capable of doing that at this point. But here, good one to leave it on:
  5. First of all you did was post your weak arguments with no real weight behind it. Game needs to be reworked either way the hit box system was always a joke. I'm pretty much the only one who has balls and talks about facts the rest of you act like sheep that follow their own bs, you're afraid to change the game for the better. Weak arguments. Fair statement pal, I am actually considering what the game consists of, their resources, engine wise and make an educated guess based on whats feasible and possible. My weak arguments are built on observations from the game, my experience with it, observations within the community (I read most of the forums on a daily basis) and my own experience and knowledge as a programmer. Your ideas are simply delusional, you reasoning doesnt support itself yet you draw a circle of it. You call my statements weak yet you yourself seem to be grasping at straws just to phrase what you mean. An argument becomes strong through supporting it with subarguments, being able to perceive counter-arguments, and being able to debunk those counter arguments. You call my arguments weak yet you dont come any further than the same ol same ol pretty much in every reply: It would add skill, it would increase teamplay, it would balance this and that, it would be realistic. With no support as to who what and why it would be that way. If this were a face to face discussion in a group, you wouldve actually known youre already mopped the floor with and not just by me. But this is the interwebs, you dont get the actual social feedback from that unless you can read well. GL with your further discussions and conversations pal, seems you have a long way to go in terms of that. Btw, stating you have "the truth" on your mind. Really nice move pal. Since every decent human being that is intelectually capable knows for a fact that there is only one truth out there, no complexity that is all fake news of course, and that cohesion, interference and dependence are myths as well.
  6. it shouldn’t have any effect on tapfiring The increased accuracy bloom, means nothing more than a bigger spread on accuracy to recover in between shots. So it does affect tap firing, it affects the ROF you can tap fire at. A clanmate of mine who is a hell of a lot better than I am, swears by a non IR3 N-Tec for that reason only. Yes his effective range is lower, but his minimal time to kill within his effective range is lower (Given he needs to tapfire for precision to maintain accuracy of course, on spraying its a different story entirely.) Dont ask me why, but I own a premodded SD N-HVR which actually has IR3 on it, there you can really notice it, I have to wait quite a bit longer between shots to be accurate, beyond the ROF limit. Whether IR3 works correctly, and is significant enough in blooming on each gun, I wouldnt know. I have tested this thoroughly. I do know from experience that it makes a hell of a difference on the ALIG.
  7. If Cars and their modifications are an issue in a mission, someone should increase their AV capability. That's all there is to it, it is pretty balanced as it is besides the RD having no cooldown. I dont think highly of RD, its easily dodged and the move itself is quite obvious often leaving the culprit very exposed during execution. It should still have a cooldown though.

I confirm, it's downsides do work, the tap fire accuracy takes longer to recover with IR3, and in terms of minimal TTK it does make a difference at range, in CQC its quite disadvantageous as well. I wouldn't mind seeing more actual recoil shown on it though, there I atleast dont really notice a difference.

I'm done with trying to reason with him, and I predict anyone who tries to will be soon after as well. This guy is either trolling, or his comprehension doesn't go past circle reasoning, not to mention he clearly has no knowledge about how the mechanics would have to be implemented programming wise and why and how it would touch other mechanics.   11. You can still move fast and be smart about it, nades wont allow you to corner camp for long. Oh surely you can, just think about every step of your static animation and plan accordingly. I mean you have to be smart when moving like a pvc tube through the city now that everyone can one shot you with whatever weapon at whatever range because that is balanced. @CookiePuss If it's a troll thread, its a good one. Lacks comedy though since the absurdity of headshotting in APB is more stupid than absurd in a funny way.

  15. Well thats kinda the whole point aint it? Adding headshot mechanics completely overhauls the game since it will change so many mechanics in place. This guy just aint getting it though. Wishfull thinking is what it is at this point.

  17. @23k You have told me you are new to the game. Take our words for it. APB will not improve over it, it will just create a more hostile and more demanding skillgap, which already is a bit of an issue within APB. Im going to pull out from the discussion now, seen as you seem to circle-reason your way about it which I find frustrating to discuss with.
  18. Im sorry but... I laughed my patootie off here. I played the shit out of CSGO, I've reached high there, I know it in and out. APB with headshots, would be gosh-darned easy really. Exposure is much more lengthy on these maps, flanking is so much easier on these maps. No sir, you have not thought this through, or simply haven't analyzed APB well enough yet. Experienced shooters would completely dominate in a much more instantious way than you can right now through raw finesse on its own. Someone who isn't all that great at aiming, can still become great at APB if he develops his playstyle accordingly and plays in a tactical way. That is why APB has a diverse player base, reaching beyond the "typical cod guy". Take that away and you'll be left with, an underwhelming mmotps with nothing really special about it besides nice customization.
  19. Thats where you're wrong. Right now, the time to kill is based on (Accuracy + Accuracy dropoff over range + Accuracy maintained over Rate of Fire + Damage carried over range). With headshots, that tactical part of it will disappear. Have you ever played CSGO? You only see the AK there, with a reason. Best for headshotting, decent damage/accuracy/rof for body shots if headshot is missed. Your ideas of adding headshots, is not possible with the current game mechanics firstly, hitboxes will not improve to that extend I can guarentee you that. Secondly, it would fundamentally switch the game from a tactical shooter, to a common HS hunting game like the rest of the shooters. Not to mention HS mechanics would just strong arm cheating, making it more viable and therefore most likely more common again.
  20. That's a easy way out you gain no skill from it. Adapt to hit those 2 shots. LTL percs is no excuse i can use percs with hvr but i don't, I take 2 clean shot and actually gain some aiming skill from it. Still percs holds no real value to the game majority of people don't even use it if they do they get bashed in chat. PIG reload is slow, so percing is faster, thats why people do it. Also because it is easier to hit, but mainly the reload speed. Combining perc with HVR as a quickswitch option would not be wise. The time the perc needs to travel unless youre right in someones face, you couldve already shot him with your pistol. Also the perc you can dodge quite easily in most scenarios, if not, youre caught with you pants down, or youre so dead on close your enemy will take a hit from it as well. This'll be the last time I bring this up though: No one should ever care for things like these to be bashed on in chat. Theres always gonna be shittalk, about pretty much anything, it can't be prevented.
  21. That perspective is wrong though. Pay2win has become a popular term and therefore you will see it flying about no matter what. Like I mentioned before, headshots mechanics would change APB from a fast paced, tactical shooter. To a bad TPS mmo. That's all there is to it. It won't balance a thing because there will just be a new meta, and surely some armas weapons will still be called pay2win after that. Reason why the Pay2Win doesn't fly in APB is quite simple really, the guns with the best meta, are the HVR and NTEC, which are both F2P guns. Most gun classes are dominated by the F2P weapons.
  22. People hate on the ATAC as well because it is easy to use. Really, the loud-mouthed people you see yelling in game are the one's who shouldn't be heard and especially not, given their way. Percs are easy to use at a high cost, very limited use. I'd say theyre fine as they are. @CookiePussSituationally, sure they are. PIG+Perc for an instance, though I myself if aware of the use of PIG+Perc often find the enforcer killed because of his own perc and myself stunned, which is a decent trade off I'd say. I wouldn't call them OP as some, but viable, sure.
  23. Favourite would be the "Case the Bolo", I love it's looks, the sounds and the mayhem it can cause. I play every weapon, but mainly JG and CR-5 (ntec) right now.
