We have reverted the change and decided to leave these links/actions alone. There is a "mark forum as read" command as part of the forum display (above the sorting options) and the "mark site read" in the footer.

We have removed the Russian world from OTW as it was only meant to be available temporarily for testing Innova migrations. Hopefully this avoids further confusion with OTW testing in the future.

Mostly technical reasons - the forum software (IPBoard) has its own date for account creation, each game has its own account creation date (APB, FE), and there is a GamersFirst account which ties them all together for authentication/login purposes which also has its own registration date. How far do we go here? What about dates for accounts like Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation?

I'm sure you guys would love some old players from War Rock and Knight Online to join the forums with join dates from 2008...

Thanks for confirming, that sounds accurate. It's a very specific work flow to activate it. I will bring this up internally to see if we want to work toward offering Steam Wallet for web and non-linked users as well.

I'm not really sure as it has been years since the client integration was done. If someone wants to confirm one way or another, I can amend my instructions.

Here are instructions for purchasing G1C using Steam as the payment provider: APB must be installed and ran through the Steam application. Specifically, the game must be installed in the SteamApps folder. Simply "adding" the game to your Steam library manually will not trigger the integration. After launching the game through Steam, you should be prompted to associate your Steam account with your GamersFirst account. This enables single sign-on through your Steam account for APB (you no longer need to enter your GamersFirst credentials) and is required for accessing the Steam payment provider option. Any time you open up the ARMAS marketplace in-game, it will use the Steam browser and you will only be able to purchase G1C using your Steam wallet. Steam Wallet is only available if you use the Steam version of the game and use the steam overlay's browser for the transaction. The G1C purchase options appear as part of the checkout process, which happens when you click the "Checkout" button at the bottom of your shopping cart. You will be taken to another site to confirm your order and given the option to purchase G1C.

The BOGO and loyalty reward bonuses were actually removed prior to Little Orbit taking ownership of the game and the marketplace. These kinds of promotions were never intended to be permanent, it was sadly just an oversight that they had been active for so long after last being used for a sale. I'm sure they will come back in the future along with other marketplace changes that Matt has foreshadowed in various discussions.

We're trying to keep the staff page limited to community facing roles instead of every employee account just to avoid the flood of direct messages that public admins receive. I went ahead and added myself back though.
