Just using carbine doesn't make you a carbine hero. A carbine hero is someone that only plays/mains carbine. This is not a thing anymore due to the much more varied meta and carbine falling out of its almost mandatory spot after the nerfs years ago (It is still strong but not as stable as it was before). Therefore the term has lost its use and has died with time.

But you were using an outdated term instead of talking about NOW.

No one is really a carbine hero anymore. That was really only a thing from like 2011-2013. It isn't a thing anymore.

I could write a lot about this but the main issue I see against this is the game needs predictability even in simple things such as animations. APB is closer to a competitive shooter than GTA is more an open world sandbox. Because of this those animations need to predictable for players to play at optimal levels. A lot of this comes down to subconscious patterns and muscle memory.

I honestly want someone to describe how this would be different from any of the current revolvers (SNR, RSA, Harbringer).

This isn't even a mod issue though. It is an issue with all the people not realising that 75% of the forum exists to serve certain niches yet they still ignore it.

I just can't deal with the size of the Stac 10 anymore though. I like it more than the carbine but the gun model is just way oversized. Eventually ended up going back to carbine despite the gun sound being worse.

Carbine used to have pretty much no bloom, further range, 5 shot kill, and you could just run cj3 in it for crazy fire rate. Plus it also had a better gun sound. REVERT BACK THE CARBINE GUN SOUND. THE TRASH CAN LIDS ARE STILL TERRIBLE YEARS AFTER THEY WERE CHANGED.

Bring back 5 shot railgun carbine.

It is pretty obvious who are the people on the forum who don't understand the intricacies and inner details of the game by who posts these kinds of threads.

I think it is good they are doing it this way. It means that first person combat will actually be good which usually is not the case with games that are also made with third person in mind. But it also allows third person to likely be modded in eventually so that players can have both.

I should have worded that better. You cannot dethreat by exclusively tking (which the guy in OP was doing). Also can't dethreat with negative score or no kills. Getting kicked does not change threat.
