south west end is simon tran’s old location and north east end is britney bloodrose’s old location
-
are they getting their own unique spots or are the new contacts just replacing pagan bloodrose and simon tran?

I lieu of a new tutorial, might we see SPCM return for the "relaunch" with 3.5?
vsb replied to CookiePuss's topic in Game
man the spcm was garbage tbh do we even need a new tutorial tbh? it definitely needs a more active portion but otherwise it’s fine that plus incoming matchmaking/threat/phasing changes will (hopefully) do wonders for new players -
all the edgy new players pick crim because bad guys are cool and then by the time they hit max rank and reroll they know how to play so enforcers are def better

no legitimate gold is facing cheaters so far beyond their skill level and so often that they are losing gold, nice try tho

it is impossible, given there’s more than 1 gun and each gun is unique there will always be an easier or more effective option that’s fine i agree, but there’s a difference between hyper focused niche and just bad balance i actually dislike constant rotation just for the sake of rotating meta, as long as the meta isn’t all powerful then i have no issue with it remaining the same for the foreseeable future

yes, as of last info -
that’s not a bug, it’s an intended mechanic on every version of the hvr

the hvr has dominated long range since the the introduction of the damage dropoff system, and until recently it could easily dominate mid and close range as well damage alone elevates it above being a "situational" weapon and, aside from perhaps positioning, there's very little skill required to land a single shot when you have perfect accuracy - there's a reason the "point and click adventure" and the "silver sniper" memes exist there does seem to be less people using it lately but (at least in my case) that's because the damage linked to accuracy makes the gun really clunky and awful to use, its still incredibly effective but it's not fun anymore the scout is very vulnerable to ca3 players (which is essentially everyone), and yes 85% damage vs 55% is a significant advantage ARs would have been my first choice if orbit hadnt broken and abandoned shotguns, ARs are kind of the backbone of the game and i think they should be fixed before we go messing about with the more specific niches as you've pointed out the cobra and issra are garbage the misery needs something, atm its just an obeya with a slower rof, worse bloom, and worse range the frenzy needs either 1 less stk or a small bloom adjustment the aces rifle is underwhelming the lcr/old glory are ok but i'd like to see them get an very small accuracy buff every weapon doesnt need to be meta, but if i haven't seen a gun in weeks or months (other than skipping over it in my inventory) then i think it should probably be looked at

you could at least try to be a good fake bungo

if you were n5/p5 then you could have just shot them regardless ramraiding isnt meant to be free money, ramraiding in an empty district is more of an exploit than people stealing your cash imo a nap doesnt seem to have helped me if toxicity is caused by elitism and elitism is caused by aspd, then we're at a bit of a roadblock because i disagree that apb is a tiny sociopath factory we've had 2 global threat resets, but iirc the last was in 2012 or early 2013 i'm definitely hoping that dynamic skill brackets are a part of the new ELO visual system orbit will introduce

i don't think its me after playing apb for almost 10 years i dont feel any need to screw my opp over (other than by winning i guess), most veterans (at least the ones i know) realized a long time ago its not worth it to be so plugged into the game even if removing threat would somehow lower elitism (spoiler: it won't), you'd still end up removing a huge reason for people to play listing a random symptom instead of the actual causes led me to believe you were focused on the wrong thing, if thats not the case then my bad 1 pedestrian =/= 1 player afaik, and being forced to waste time/attention running around killing civilians on a mission is still effectively punishing players for playing well losing prestige at the money laundry requires a player to have dirty money, for an enforcer that means finding a stolen car or stolen items and turning them in - again, not a process ideal for the middle of a mission
-
wait thats not a kid in the animal carrier? man ive spent all these years thinking that mission was mad fucked up lmao
