  1. I think part of it is you aren't being shown as being hit for the first few shots because the server is not telling your PC you are being shot.
  2. "Dethreating" happens because this game has a very tiny population with a large skill gap between players. Not only is the population an issue, but there are only 2 real districts people play in, Bronze districts and Silver districts. Trying to cram our tiny population into only 2 skill categories causes a few issues. The main issue is that low to high silver players are being forced to play against either people who are too easy (bronze) or people who are too good (gold). Against bronze players, silver players end up being categorized as gold players, and against gold players they often drop to bronze players. There is no real place for silver players to go, so they bounce back and forth in threat level. I don't meet many intentional dethreaters, what I run into a lot are silver players who get bounced back and forth because the population in this game is too small to sustain any form of good match making. For those thinking LO can fix this, they can not fix this. Until the population of the game exceeds a certain threshold, it will be impossible to match up people against their own skill level.
  3. I earned over 500k on my criminal in about less than 2 hours of farming on an empty district. The whole time I was N5, just mugging and crashing windows. I constantly kept an eye on district population and only quit because I reached my goal. I buy everything with my criminal off the auction house and just mail it to my enforcer because enforcers have no way of earning a constant stream of money on demand like a criminal.
  4. that sucks. I usually find people in the district to help me unlock the weapon so it only takes about 5 minutes.
  5. Does the game still delete the money if the crim/enforcer leaves the mission? I remember once the money amount was changed to 2500 crims would exit the game the instant you witnessed them to stop anyone from getting the money if they couldn't have it.
  6. Good news is that on the bronze server you can basically ram raid all night long at N5 and usually never be bothered
  7. The Pioneer has more forward push from a stand still. I was actually blocked in using my Espacio because I couldn't push a medium vehicle out of my way from a stop. The medium vehicle was sideways so they weren't pushing the Espacio, I just couldn't push it out of the way so ran on foot. The pioneer has zero issues pushing around other vehicles. The Pioneer also allows passengers to shoot at 360 degrees. The van only allows 180 degrees because they are hanging out of the side. This is a massive disadvantage in a chase. I love the look of the Espacio aesthetically, but there is no advantage to using it over the Pioneer.
  8. Percs are easy to use against lower skilled players but basically ineffective against higher skilled players because of their low soft and hard damage. Once you reach a higher skilled bracket, most people use Concs because they are no longer panic tossing grenades around or relying on a 1 second grenade toss + Primary to take out an opponent. Concs are much better, they do a lot more hard damage and soft damage. 1 conc can also disable most vehicles. This may not be a MOBA but the same game systems still apply, you need an easy to use weapon effective against lower skilled opponents. Then once a player builds more skill they graduate to using Concs.
  9. percs are fine, you need a low skill weapon for low skill players. I rather see players with percs than concs any day. Concs are dangerous, they can actually destroy vehicles with one grenade or do massive damage if they hit the player. Percs I can easily avoid orabsorb with my flak
  10. It's not even powerful in 1v1. Against a similarly skilled player the lethal weapon user should always win. Lethal has more range, more choices in weapons type, has a much faster TTK than TTS, and actually does hard damage. LTL is great against lower skilled opponents and that's about it.
  11. I was going to say "add tracers back to the game".
  12. yes because the Pioneer is better than the Espacio hands down. I own both vehicles and ended up just buying the Pioneer for my criminal because it was just better in all aspects (except aesthetics). Remove faction restrictions on all vehicles, only keep faction restrictions on mods like police lights. Allow players to sell vehicles on the Market Board to all players (unless there are police lights on the vehicle).
  13. PIG has a range of 10 meters and only one shot then the longest reload of any weapon (excluding extended magazine mods). So, if someone is getting you with a PIG, then they are probably toying with you. The person stunning you would absolutely destroy you with lethal weapons, even the SNR. The combo is fine considering the Enforcer is no longer able to use a secondary that can do hard damage or effective against more than one person under 10 meters. I have but only by my own team members. I miss the no kicking between missions, it was really fun to screw around with your team mates while waiting. My crim has never been caught by this as far as I can recall. I just stay outside of 10 meters or near my vehicle.
  14. Once I see some improvements I'll invest more money in this game, but not until then. Love it to death, it is probably my favorite game to date, but I need results first.
  15. sure, my /abandonmission is so cheating, I may as well just buy a subscription to an aimbot/wall hack. My primary games are MMOs like FFXIV and GW2. The peripherals I use are mainly for the MMOs I play, I also like to play APB from time to time but I never cheat, hence why my characters have been active and my account in good standing since G1 took over. calling someone who has gaming peripherals like a gamepad and gaming mouse a cheater is ignorant.
  16. or the fact that I am an adult and can afford gaming peripherals.
  17. It's on my Razer gamepad. The same button I use to reload also triggers my witness key. That way I can just point at a crim and reload to witness them. I've never had mine jam before. I have hit latency spikes where my gun wouldn't fire or it fires on my client but not on the server. That's not the weapon jamming but the server acting up.
  18. I use multiple macro's. Basically ever button I use on the side of my G600 mouse is a macro since I change the keys from their default functions. My longest macro is a /abandonmission (enter) macro which I use to abandon missions. Have never had an issue with using any of my macros. I also use a macro to dual function to Witness and Reload my gun. I haven't actually had to witness people in years, but it's one of the combo keys I used for my Enforcer.
  19. it's a specialized secondary which works perfectly for those who like to CQC. I've seen a few HVR players who will CQC with their Yukon then quickly swap and finish people with the HVR.
  20. let people use rapid fire macros, they are only hurting themselves. First, you can not get a perfect ROF in this game. Between the computer delay and server delay, a "perfect ROF" is impossible. You end up skipping shots which actually worsens your ROF. Second, the only way around a perfect ROF is to either program the macro to trigger slower than required to make up for the delay or trigger so fast you are basically shooting at the highest ROF possible. If you trigger slower than required then your ROF again will be horrible but at least it will be predictable. If you trigger faster than required you are increasing your weapons max bloom instantly. It if far more precise and accurate to just click the mouse button for each trigger. There are some "macros" which are more scripts which compensate for predictable recoil in sniper rifles but I have only seen examples of these in AutoHotKey. I don't know how or if it is possible to create such scripts in the Razer or Logitech software for mice.
  21. no threat system or match making system will work until the population is much higher because of the way districts are split up. With a population of 40/40 per district, you are not going to get a good competitive match until we can fill each bronze, silver, and gold district only with the listed threat level players.
  22. Real gold threat players are not in the bronze district. The "gold" threat players in the bronze district are at best, high silver. These guys are either high silver to bronze against actual gold threat players which is whey they go to the bronze district when they are silver threat. Real gold threat players stay gold and are restricted to the gold and silver districts. There are some players who intentionally throw game after game to dethreat, but I have not run across many, maybe 1 in 20 players at the most. The issue with the current threat system and district segregation is the result of a competitive game with around 200-300 active players split up among 6-8 districts. The number of active players can be as low as 20 or less late at night. To be blunt, there is no real way to fix the situation until the population grows. Without a large enough pool of players, there will always be an issue of people of high skill being placed against players of low skill.
  23. to be honest, I'm a crap player and am gold so yeah I can not help but see a cheater being gold threat.
