  1. it wouldn't be too hard to link the price of a vehicle and its slots. But I think the more difficult issues they said is how the vehicles are safed because they are saved as complex and compressed strings including the customisation. A way to change that would have to unlock customisation from that string and give item properties some seperate characteristics. But dunno about how much of this is true, or how it actually looks, like.

  3. you need to be patient, maybe they consider unbanning everyone when the new anticheat is running. Or handle this via an extra support ticket. That is a chance as well atm.

From the old Forum i just gonna copy this. it was mostly about the headphones, but also is about other items I am not sure what your Engine upgrade will include at all, but maybe while doing that you can consider having a look at this again since this seems to be some deeper technical stuff anyways. It's not a bug but mostly a game behavior, but it would be cool, if the Engine upgrade gets rid of that effect or you could tweak some clothings to lower the possibility of it appearing. As making Lily's original outfit I recognized her lower part of the skirt beeing blurry all the time. Since the skirt was the last piece of clothing I added, I never noticed the possible reason. But while making her Asylum colorsheme outfit showed some strange things happening. Theory: 1. When your characters clothing reaches a specific amount of Polygons, some clothing parts resolution (and details) are getting reduced. 2. This is not related to the complexity bar of the whole outfit that shown in the designer. First lets compare the outfits: No1. Skirt shown correctly No 2 + 3 Skirt gets bricky on the lower parts see how the front views white lines of the skirt are blurry. I tried serveral combination of clothings to see why and when its happening. It's not the complexity bar causing this: proof: No4. low complexity but blurry (removed the top for its 100 layer symbol) if you compare this with No.1, you see No.1 is showing the skirt texture correctly but has a lot higher complexity on the bar. It turned out that the headphones especially in combination with the high heels cause this nearly instant. Its not only the headphones causing this as: No.6: headset but not blurry This brought up my theory that the headphones do have a heavy impact on this while the high heels have very less effect. And a closer view on the headphones revealed that it has an increadible high amount of details. Especially the area where the part around the head meets the earshells? (sry don't know the english wording here correctly) has an ridiculous amount of detail also consisting of many polygons. Well this is what I guess, but seeing the model does indicate this. And therefore I think the amount of polygons is a highly deciding factor when textures of specific cloth get turned blurry. This is not only happening to the flounced skirt, it also happens to symbols you add to some other cloth. e.g. headphones themselves are affected too. So my suggestion is removing the part where you can see through the headphones from front to rear. The headphones details are rarely something people notice. And no one looks at this while running and gunning around. So it is really an unnecassary detail especially compared to the sacrifice of quality on other clothes. Fill it and maybe make it look like the white headphone in the middle (just a random imgur pic with gapless headphone) Its not affecting much of Lily's outfit, but people who may use more complex symbols on their skirts or other affected clothes together with the headset will feel a huge difference. I think it's time to optimize this, even if I have to say the earphones are a masterpiece in creation. But as said before, these tiny details are not worth the quality sacrifice on highly visible parts of the character. maybe also optimize some other clothings causing similar efffects very soon by having very much polygons. But I can't tell which other cloth this may be. Lily nearly only has this kind of outfit just with a few different colorschemes. Edit: additional thought + pic of the headphones in detail But the phones in detail: basically the second headband part between the gaps could easily be removed and the phones would still look good. Not sure how much this may help, and if other parst may also need some optimization. But I feel there are way more polygons than needed. Regards

  6. Maybe LO can do that with the engine upgrade. I remember G1 said every car (so each slot variant) is just an own item making it impossible. But since 1 slot and a 4 slot only differ in exact this ability upgrading should tehcnicall not be too hard.

  10. Not much, it needs to show it works properly first. We are going to see a lot, "Oh noez, false banned, pls unban even if PB and FF also falsely banned me" topics. Cheaters won't change, no matter how good the anticheat is. but what battle eyes needs to do is to make sure these people cannot instantly reroll again. Otherwise banning cheaters slower as they can reroll will not improve anything at all. and thats why I am not so excited, because I have my doubts about this.
  11. I already told about car surfer, and yes true ogre is the same, their additions are resulst of a somewhat clueless G1 that didn't had any new assets left and just released what was left in the files which initially didn't make it into the game (for a reason).

But whatever they do the yneed to do it AFTER the unbanning and anti cheat impelmention to not make cheaters and their actions mess it up too much. And probably if possible to do, after a district crossing matchmaking. @ken2, back when joining a bronze gave you -90% rewards, peopel weren't stopped to do that, because they were famring roles on the sweet bronzes and rekking bronzes 30:2 in a winning missiosn was still paying more money than getting just some louzy 10:10 with a possible loss. So motivating by different payouts didn't work, trying this again will lead to the same result. What most people want in this game is brag about killing and dominating others and you are not going to get this motivation rid of them. Well, except, the gold rush event did make poeple forget about this motivation, but this event made soem of the G1 stuff taking their hat and go, probably because that event broke any businesscase that was made prior to the event.
  14. well, shooting duaklwield is a movie shitthing, dualwielding is not proper way to shoot guns. What you see is just 2 people posing, for looking cool. APB still had that attemp to look a bit like a more realistic (less arcadish) anarchistic city theme.
  15. arcadish as in not very lore friendly, we have snipers that don't headshot because a TPS headshot game would be just unbalancable broken. Thats a mechanic-wise given necessarity. TPS + one shot wepaosn is a HUGE problem for TPS games. because the defender hiding is in a massive advantage. FPS games don't have this issue, they are fair for both because both LOS will hppen at the same time. But lurking at someonr around a corner or above a wall is just balance mechanical wise a much different topic.remember whe the osmaw fot a windup? because instant suiciders were neither fun nor making any sense by gameplay wise reasons. Stuff like happy landing and car surfer, they indeed do feel a bit arcadish, which I don't like that much. I mean look at GTA, that game is pure arcade,

There people who want their beloved niche guns being stronger. There are people who have no idea about mechanics and wepaons. How would LO be able to know whos feedback is valid and made by proper people with knoledge and experience and those havign just no idea? Also, lets nt forget all the valuable feedbakc of those "enhanced" members of thecommunity. The Last Balance was also influenced by someone triggerbotting in the SPCT. Great balance feedback with such proper assitance. So far all nerfs/buffs have hardly helped balance they just killed of soem weapons, anyone seen with a Tommy recently? after the nerf the M1922 was basicalyl dead. but usually most iof this is because the N-tec can still fill other guns niches way too good in cqc and long range. I'd say also nerf N-tecs magazine. You can way too easily spray and pray at people @80m preventing them to heal and constantly take damage even under a cars tiny slit. The DMR -AV's issues is that any current meta vehicle has too much health, so we also need some vehicle balance, because seeing espacio, vegas (4x4) and pioneer in 95% usage is also very broken.
  20. Help my confused memory, irrc G1 didn't had anyone left with doing animations right? Does LO now have someone able? can we get new animations at some time in the game again? did the Q&A said something about it?

I am not sure if it woudl fit the APB Theme, duall wielding would be much too arcadish and also some wepaons dual wielded, that has other broken niches, like those tight camping spots with PDW and N-FA. while most other dual wield chocies would be quite inferior, due to the reduces accuracy. honestly, whats the point of limiting it to the guns you mentioned? a less accurate FWB with increased mag? no one really needs that. and to look cool? well maybe thats something for some events to do. So if we would get some dual wield mechanics we would need some properly implemented mechanics that make it viable at all. Maybe some secondary unrelated wepaons and own dual wield specific weapons. They coudl then mechanic wise be as (in)anncurate as a the Tommy gun. but just with different animation. BTW, this raises the most important question of all: will the new devs get soem animations guy? Because iirc, G1 doesn't haad one anymore.
