  2. Maybe cut back the radius of its spotter, or reduce length that it remains on the target? Spotter is far more broken in my opinion, as the target doesn't know they've been spotted, and I don't see a large number of people complaining about it. I feel like the launchers are fine because the exposure length isn't too bad, and typically you can try and break line of sight before they explode.
  3. So as these stand, they're pretty much perfectly balanced. After talking with a few friends we came to the conclusion that the only thing these guns could use would be an additional 2 shots in the ammo pool. Having a total of 6 shots feels like it justifies using it to fill the secondary slot a bit better, as taking a launcher over a pistol requires a very well rounded primary as well. Also, I doubt anyone besides me would be too interested in this, but I feel like the stats should be boosted a bit closer to that of percussion grenades. I like the damage radius on the launchers, but would like to see the additional hard and stamina damage, as well as giving them the ability to complete a stun. Just my 2 cents, I'm sure there are a few varied opinions on this and would be interested in hearing them!

  8. I recall seeing an option in APBEngine.ini in APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config to change how the game handles the smooth frame rate option. You could probably use this to cap it at 120. As with any ini tweaking though, make sure to launch the game from the program directly instead of the launcher.

  12. The only reason I didn't feel that was necessary was because of gravity damage. Health damage after concussions can answer that with Happy Landings, but you'll still be stunned if you fall after getting hit with a stun grenade. As long as it's not one shot, and allows good follow up with the NL9, TG-8, and CCG, I feel like it'll be fixed.
  13. So I really would be interested in seeing how LtL is currently perceived by the community and if/how they would like to see changes made. Everything I have listed here is just how I feel and I'd love to see how everyone else sees LtL in the current meta. Nerfs Reduce the PIG's Stun Damage (from 950 to 750) With the PIG damage at 950, any player that was in a firefight within the last 8 seconds can pretty much always be one shot by the pig. Reduce the Stun Grenade's Damage (from 1000 to 850) I really feel that one shots have no place in APB, and this includes stun nades. A well timed grenade can stun any enemy not using flak, and can prevent the opposition from completing an objective from up to ~70m if the aim is right. Buffs Lower the stamina damage required to force walking (from ~950? to 800) The NL9 already has an abysmal tts compared to most weapons' ttk in it's range. This would make that last shot much easier to land. Increase the NL9 Health damage (from 200 to 225) This would be to alleviate some of the difficulty in finishing a kill against enemies using Clotting Agent 3. QoL/Other The arresting animation doesn't move the criminals hitbox from the crouched position while they're being arrested. This allows other criminal to shoot directly through them to the officer. (this was true a few months back, but I haven't had the chance to test in a while.) I would love to see 1-2 slot versions of LtL weapons. Potentially as a Cop Rank 16 reward in the future? Currently only weapons designated to stun actually cause another player to be stunned. This is most likely by design, but I'd love to see this expanded on in the future. Currently, only the Nano, DMR, and some explosive weapons/grenades can actually cause stuns outside of LtL weapons. In my eyes, this is a great way to provide a stronger purpose for the Heavy Barrel mod; perhaps this mod can be reworked to allow normal weapons to finish stunning an enemy. (Maybe even have it take the sacrificed health damage and convert it into extra stamina damage?) If you don't feel like writing out a list or don't have any specific changes in mind questions like: "Why or why not use it?", "How do you feel fighting against it?", "How do you feel when you see a teammate with it?" are a decent place to still get some feedback.
  14. 1. The grenades are just too powerful. Nothing in this game should be able to take you out in only 1 shot. Since you can hold nades, you can easily catch anyone if you time it right. I'd like to see them go down to 850 stamina damage, but perhaps increasing the radius slightly. 2. The pig, ideally, only needs a very minor nerf. As it stands if the enemy was hit with essentially anything in the last 8 seconds they can be stunned. So capping it's damage around 750 would be a great place for it. This way it feels a bit more fair for the crim side, while still allowing fun combos with the csg, scout, and even percs (for better or worse). That's all my opinion though, I'd love to actually have a full discussion started at some point.
  15. After the current balance patch goes through the pipeline, is there potential to take a look at ltl? I'm mainly interested in seeing 1-2 open slots in weapons, as well as allowing more guns to complete a stun. With the current system, even if the full 1000 stun damage is dealt, the enemy won't be stunned if the correct weapon isn't used. Also, nerfing stun nades and the pig would be nice.
  16. You may not care, but it's still something that would harm new players as well as old players returning on new accounts.
  17. That's done to prevent currency inflation. If the money isn't disappearing from game fast enough then it starts to inflate dramatically. If it wasn't there, weapons would eventually start selling for 10s of millions APB$, which ultimately discourages new players from earning the cash to buy them.
  18. Thanks, really appreciate that and being called to the thread! As for the balance of the gun, it's pretty good where it's at. I'd like to see it get a small buff in the future, but wouldn't be disappointed if they never touched it again. My ideal vision of the NL9 would be to have it slow the enemy after two consecutive shots, but still require a third to stun. This would probably shift it's balance too much and make it a little over powered, but not as much as it was when the gun was two shots to stun. All in all, I think there needs to be a discussion about LTL balance as a whole, but I won't hijack this thread for that. Also, if you want to do well with the NL9, I recommend using a nano secondary. 2 shots from the NL9, then two from the nano to stun.
  19. Oh no, there is a situation where ltl is viable? Really though, ltl needs a big rework at some point, but this isn't as big of an issue as it may seem like it is.
  20. My only gripe seems to be with the "Dropping unpopular items from ARMAS" point. I don't believe any item should be dropped from ARMAS, and I don't see any reason a weapon should be dropped rather than incorporating it into a side-grade of the current meta. All in all, very happy to see a roadmap moving forward though, thank you little orbit!

  23. 1. Please, try to make a cop and run LTL for a full session or two, and see if your opinion differs. 2. Get a Vegas, arguably the best car in the game and it's unlocked pretty early from a tier 3 contact.
