Phoenix started out under APB Emu, since both groups used to reverse engineer the game,

However, what later became Phoenix, wasn't the same people who did Emu.

 

So saying that its the same people is false, they were both separate groups run by separate people from the beginning.

 

Additionally, as stated before,

Phoenix doesn't use any of APB's assets, there's even been an open discussion with LO about the project where they received access to verify this fact for themselves.

If Phoenix were to use apb's assets, it would've already been dead by now, but it doesn't. It's its own thing.

Imagine spending as much time as they have on their project, only to realize you neglected to get the needed legal agreements of everyone involved over the years, so you can never make a profit from it without opening yourself up to devastating legal complications.

What do you mean? We got agreements with everyone - if somebody wouldn't agree, we just exclude assets that person brought and bring in new one...

Yeah... clearly I was essence member.

Although I admit I was banned by FF, it kinda pulled me into project because honestly... by that point why would I dump money into game which unrightfully banned me without any evidence?
