Its Time To Show Us You Are Doing Something

LO and @MattScott it is time for you to start showing us you are actually doing something about cheaters and hackers in game. It is painfully obvious that GFAC does not work and botters continue to run rampent in the game. Your GMs (if they ever actually show up in game) never investigate anything and instead they silence the users that call out cheaters and or say use the in game report system. The in game report system does not work and you have provided 0 proof to the community over the years that it does work and any actions have been taken. Because of this nobody uses the report system.

Not to mention the constant and blatent videos posted to youtube and streamed live on twitch of botters running around cheating with 0 repercussion. You as a company and anyone with power in LO have completely and totally failed in your jobs to deter and prevent cheating when it is so blantently put out there in public. You lose all credibility and trust when this stuff is brought to your attention and you just blow it off and dont take any action. What are you going to do as a company to start taking action against all these cheaters? What are you going to do to start providing us with stats on actions taken and prove when reported that things are looked into?

 

We as a community deserve a fair game with GMs and leaders that will enforce the rules, actively work to remove and deter cheaters and will have a level of transparency with the community that will prove when people and things are reported that it is looked into.

there are cheaters in Jericho that have been cheating for years, they weren't banned with easyanticheat, battle eye nor GFAC. I will say it again, FAIRFIGHT was the best anticheat and they removed it. It was the only system that made bans PUBLIC

If they have survived every anticheat, it may be time to consider that they might be legit.

FF was the best, it was slow but it worked. 

  Why they cheat at at a game with so little reward?

In any case, all of the AC's worked to some degree but with matt 

either letting the banned out of game jail or punishing them with 'Kid Gloves' 

instead of an ip ban or device cookie to identify the device or pc, 

he chooses to soft spank them and gives the legit player zero comp for dealing with them. 

If banned a player simply pulls out an alt account and continues.

 

 Not to mention, but imma mention, it is suppose to be a cop v crim game, 

not some squad based urban Medal of no Honor combat game. 

Everything they have done has taken away from the ability to Pretend that you 

are playing the role of a cop or modern criminal. 

 I miss the game but not that much, I've dropped in a couple times. 

Probly the biggest reason to leave was finding out that my sound kits did nothing. 

The music only works or is heard by others with the same audio file. 

This is not stated in the armas when purchasing sound and wheel kits. 

So I sat n played my music to people who couldn't hear it for years.

So the game has zero social value, unless ya like being insulted.

 Matt and Lo are never in game, I never see Matt.

This is blatantly wrong. There were tonnes of hackers during Fair Fight and the period when LO were in the process of buying the game from G1 when there was no clientside anti-cheat cos Punkbuster broke and had to be turned off was the worst experience I had in this game in terms of cheaters. People would fire up free cheats and ragehack for ages before FF bothered its arse to trigger a ban. The best was either EAC or BattlEye (I can't remember which one cos it was so long ago) that LO implemented when they came in first, but then stopped using cos the full feature set they paid for couldn't be implemented in this hot mess of a game. That's when I found myself dying to total bullshoot the least.

 

What you liked about Fair Fight was the broadcasts, not its effectiveness as anti-cheat software. What dictates whether an anti-cheat is good is how many hackers you see, not how many bans you know about.

 

 

 

I think we need to face reality. Off the top of my head, we've tried 5 different anti-cheat measures Punkbuster, FF, EAC, BattlEye and GFAC (and I bet I've missed at least one) and people have complained about cheaters the whole time.

 

So either:

A) There aren't as many cheaters as people say there are.

 

or

 

B) The game is such a mess on the back end that no anti-cheat software is going to be effective.

they can't be legit when you hide 300m away from the obj and enemy finds you. I'm talking about those cheaters that don't even care about hiding wallhacks/aimbots, 90% of NA population give up instantly when they face these cheaters.

Some of them were banned during EAC era, but LO lifted their bans. I remember one wiping their twitch and youtube channel to try to hide it after the ban. Another posted about it on the forums but left their past broadcasts available, which shown them auto-aim.

 

I saw the same names multiple times on the in-game FairFight announcement, but the tracking site only shows the first ban. It also didn't tell you all their characters, which meant people hiding could first login to their no name character, and if not banned, then switch to their known characters. Tiggs would manually ban players for arbitrary reasons, which I've seen while I was in-game.

I don't remember that. Was it a "hack" or was it the phone acting as a gateway and interacting with the network packets for APB? I remember there being something about hijacking user sessions, but I can't remember if that was APB or the Unreal 3 engine in general.

No no there not hacking. They just been playing for X years. They just happen to know your spawn point because there jsut that good at this game. They just win every fire fight with the m9/fbw/45/sr15/vbr/oscar/cr762 because there that good with it, and that is why they can fire the gun so fast they can fully dump a whole mag into your face at 50m in .1 seconds. there also just so good that is why they know your coming from whatever odd angel because your just sooooooooooo predictable. There also just so much better then you they know your exact spot every single time because they just knew you would be there, or as my friend has been told they can just see your shadows through the walls and down corrids. There also so much better then you thats why no matter what gun you use minus the osmaw they can just beat you in every fight. There also such much better at this game then you and thats why all of there nades perfectly land on you every single time regardless of if it's a hand grenade or opgl nade. Oh and there streaming on (name platform here) you can watch they che- not cheat. there not cheating it's 100% legit trust me bro


this isn't sarcasm this is a giant list of shit cheaters have said to me, and people i play it. Yesterday i was watching one rage hack with speed hacks becuase they could not handle losing to two snipers. God knows the amount i have seen other the last 3 months that are teams of 2 or more cheaters using god knows how many cheats.

 

Also funny how a sizable amount of names i did not see for the first 1-2 weeks of GFAC have been slowly coming back, funny too i remember seeing a hand full of hacks day one of GFAC running around losing matches and panicking trying to play normal, then a month later there back to cheating.

but ah who am i kidding? GFAC works fine. Like tiggs was a good person and never banned for no reason. like this game has no problems with it just like any besthda game! You just need to get good and stop being so predictable
