10/10 MAINTENANCE ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello everybody,

 

Our standard weekly maintenance will be held this Friday (10/10) starting at 9 AM UTC. The game should be back up and running in 6 to 10 hours.

 

Todays patch aims to resolve some of the ongoing Matchmaking issues as well as an issue causing some players to get a corrupt driver which is causing Blue screens.

So we get cross district matching up running again? Yes? Please!

yeah cross district is super good and anticheat too! but servers lags r not , and where is the server actualy ? still down?

No AC and or it works very poorly if at all.

Doesn't detect tk's or car trolling nor does LO care about it. 

I bet you could go and leave a big long patootie right on Matts desk and not get banned. 

Zero discipline in NA, very low pop now. Hackers knocked it out.

Well, there's a wide gap between 6 to 10 hours so hope they're better calculating how to fix the AC ^_^

i think whole pack of last updates is not working - cross district not working, match maker is old 2014 , and yeah anticheat with it, its like 1 big pack of updates that just dont work, i remember Frosi sayd that - b coz these updates r 1 big pack, and if 1 is bugged its break the other parts too.

After Update i am facing error... INIT ERROR, PLEASE CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION..

 

Is the update complete or they still updating??

if they doing it - then i think that they already figured where the error is that casued all that mess.

We've been working closely with our Network team - Unfortunately, like many other companies right now they are being hit by insanely large scale DDoS attacks which is what players felt the last week. These attacks aren't directly targeted at APB - Even Valve was hit with a similar 32tbps attack.

 

That said the situation should be getting better now but players may notice small hiccups every now and then.

This issue is related to the servers not having come online yet and should be resolved by the time the actual game is back online!

I knew there was a bug with MM or thats how I understood it, but I thought it alone was put in because people/shadow banns

 were complaining about long wait times for mission. Which they were suppose to wait and rot away. 

So im assuming the Bug was with the MM that we had before this old MM was put in. 

That explains allot, so the AC can't talk to the MM, and was failing to update, so no ac temporary.

Now I understand and I'll take a step back on my Gold/LO conspiresy to bash bronzes.

 Ya know if Matt didn't charge me 100 bucks per car spawn, i wouldn't care about trolls.

Hello everyone,

 

Quick update: Our team has resolved the final issue that was blocking the release, but we’ll need to run one more build and complete an additional round of testing to ensure everything is stable before going live.

 

We estimate this process will take around 2 more hours.

I'm getting the same message. I was worried because yesterday my antivirus started detecting the launcher as a potentially dangerous file. I had to deactivate it to start the game, and even then I felt some serious lag from time to time. Then I logged out and tried again some hours later, but I couldn't even make the game start. I got a few GFAC errors, even after uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times. Also trying in other drive. I reinstalled it today again and got this error. So, I hope the lag was part of the issues that MageLo mentioned, and not of my connection.

The servers are now back online - If you are encountering any issues starting the game please run the "GFAC_Updater.exe" as well as "Updater.exe" in your GFAC Install directory. 

 

If this doesn't fix your issue please let us know and we will investigate.

I'm still gettine the same error. Init - Error: Update GFAC.

 

Nevermind, I just executed "Updater.exe" first and then "GFAC_Updater.exe" and it's working now. I'll have to check if there's still lag, tho.
