Broken consumables yellow mods after merge

@Lixil  @MattScott  Guys nice merge and all but the yellow mods are broken.  Ammo box doesnt serve a purpose of changing weapon anymore,  Shield cant be dropped out of hands once you equip it, unless u die, etc.

 

Please fix that guys, its pretty annoying issue.  Thanks in advance.

 

P.S. Also am pretty sure you guys made mistake gifting rfp guns & oca 3 slot to live servers instead of testing prototype ones. The weapon which was buffed too much as it is, and was announced to reach 70m is gifted to entire apb...seriously guys!?

 

Hopefully Riot will be back shortly, because there are still people who couldnt do all riot roles due to lack of population which we got now.  Have a nice one.

If you do happen to die while the shields timer is still up you wont be able to climb ladders or kick open doors until the timer for the shield runs out even after respawning.

 

Were any of the changes made this patch even testes by the SPCT before they were released?

It's been long established that the SPCT is completely ignored by Little Orbit.

can confirm ammo boxes are working in regular districts.

they stated that they were no longer allowing ammo boxes to change weapons anymore. only the orange mod and ammo zones will allow you to change.

 

currently testing shield bug, will update.

can confirm, shield is not droppable when holding.

 

the 3 weapons expire in 15 days, they are not permanent.

afaik the ammo box not letting you change weapons is a balance change.

 

the shield thing is a bug.

You would be correct on both. Not sure why these changes are surprising people, we've known for months that these things were going to happen.

While this is true, I think most players would've wanted an actual test of these changed before they went live considering LOs trackrecord when it comes to balancing.

The weapons accidentally being sent to everyone is a good thing (if their test stats are correct).

 

 

I think 3 people were on the test district for joker.

One of two things are happening:

  1. SPCT is being ignored by Little Orbit.
  2. SPCT isn't doing their job at all.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know which of these is happening if one pays even the slightest attention to goings-on.

LO killed off shields and ammo boxes. Seems like epi pen is the only thing worth using now, but I'm kinda wishing these changes never came to be. Although we knew about them for awhile, does not mean people really wanted this.

Shields are basically unchanged, the fuck are you on about? As for the ammo crate, this was a change long needed because of how overtuned the thing was since implementation. Almost nobody was against this, in fact most of the big names in the community have been openly in support of it for a very long time (even before Little Orbit entered the picture). The limitation of explosive resupply doesn't make the thing useless, it's still very powerful as a sustain tool when you can't readily access the nearest resupply point (which happens all the time).

Also, im more upset over the weapon changing being disabled on the ammo boxes. I should've been more clear on that. This allowed for various styles of gameplay to be implemented contingent to where the mission is taking place.

Honestly, I'm in the camp that weapon changing should be disabled from Field Supplier and Mobile Supply Unit as well. Changing your weapon should be something you need to go to a fixed location (Joker vending machine, vehicle spawner, etc) to do, not something you can just do on a whim wherever you please.
