Jump shooting needed a nerf because people at the corner has a huge advantage over people pushing them. Also the skill ceiling with jump shooting is much lower on weapons such as hvr, ntec, obeya etc. -

You have an abandoned idea from RIOT that is iteration of a thing in most modern popular games called seasonal content. As far as I remember RIOT had a contact that we needed to level up to get rewards and it would reset every new season and RIOT also had a season pass that unlocks an access to better rewards, basically like battle pass in modern games such as fortnite, warzone etc. I have no idea why this feature hasn't been implemented yet in main game. People would come to level up these contact daily by playing regular missions. -

To be honest, I do believe that we reached a point where no such small tweaks or QoL changes that will make some players comeback because many players just burnt out. The only thing that I want right now is to removing faction segregation because it is outdated thing from old gaming era. The game barely fills one district at the evening and a population of each faction is flactuating a lot in this district. I either play empty missions with a hope of getting an opposition or jumping between factions. Eventually I come to the point of just quitting the game after constantly jumping between factions or playing empty missions. -
lol, rtw ui looks much better. So clean

Matchmaking and Extiction of middle threat levels.

Matchmaking and Extiction of middle threat levels.
gremlen replied to Queen of Love's topic in General Discussion Archive
Even with a high population the current matchmaking system is not fair for silvers. If we would have 10 full financial district copies there’s such a small chance that the copy you joined to play will have the same skill level players on opposite faction. The problem is an outdated limitation of amount of players you can compete with and the best solution is to make cross instance matchmaking to be able to get opposition from all district copies on go without loading time. -
If you could change any game mechanic, what and how?
gremlen replied to ChangedName's topic in General Discussion Archive
Exactly it means firing enemies, not killing your teammates because you wanted a kill so much that you decided to shoot opgl at teammate position because there was an enemy. But it's a dumb playstyle. I shouldn't not have automatically higher risk because someone from my team pick opgl, it's a stupid logic that makes no sense. It's like if someone goes for gambling and wants a casino suiting them by giving jackpots. 'I want to play opgl in fc so everyone in my team should suit me'. Egoistic mindset -

I expect others not ruining my playstyle by their own playstyle. I don't refuse to change, but also I'm not supposed to suit them. By your logic I can ruin other players fun in fc by nading no matter what, shooting through them if they stay between me and enemies and if I teamkill them it's their problem and they need to suit me. What a nice conclusion you made -

You're dumb, I'm sorry but how should I know when you're going to shoot an osmaw when you're 80m from me and there're 20 teammates. It's like if I would nade you while you're fighting an enemy and you won't be able to see me nading because you're focusing an enemy. When contesting an enemy none thinks: "oh I might get a random opgl/osmaw by a teammate from other side of the map" But these players see you near the enemy and when you die from your team osmaw they say: Sorry, didn't think I would get you -

Remove vip stage completely limit the amount of explosive weapons in fight club, when there’s more then 5 opgl in asylum it becomes literally unplayable getting spammed every corner in close radius from the point. Reduce the required amount of penalty medals before getting kicked if you’re using opgl/osmaw or add penalty medal for assisting in killing your teammate(only for opgl/osmaw users). I’m sick of players that don’t care if you’re close to enemies and fight them in cqc, opgl or osmaw users will try no matter what to kill that guy and take you with him. Not fun at all. Nerf a maximum speed for cars with item or vip inside even more. Revert obeya nerf. None is playing with it anymore. Before a nerf it was a questionable choice to use it instead of obir. Now there’s completely no reason to pick it. Revert carbine nerf, I haven’t seen someone crying towards a little buff you made. The gun is not usable after 15 meters with its accuracy, you’re just praying for good rng while hipfiring. No point to use when you have oscar. Add 4x4 versions of Jericho and bishada. I don’t know why it’s still not a thing. Two good looking cars that people don’t use because of a terrible handling. And I’m bored of using vegas 4x4 and coywolf for years. And the best thing what you can do with the game right now till you release a new patch is to remove a faction segregation. Imagine instead of joining a district and waiting for an opposition among 40 players from opposite faction you will have a chance to get an opposition among all the players in your district. It’s a good fix till we get a new matchmaking system and a new patch. I’m tired of jumping between two factions because one faction either has lower amount of players or there’re only lowbie silvers that makes you spamming empty missions for a long time. And the last thing I want to ask. Do not fix radar tower, just remove it and forget it. The most terrible modification. I’m glad that it has been broken and LO couldn’t fix it so they turned it off. -
Make 4x4 versions of Jericho and bishada and put it in armas

APB 64-bit,145hz and beyond?
gremlen replied to nattsvart_katt's topic in General Discussion Archive
I don't know. If it's a deep problem then LO probably have to re-write physics logic and how it interacts between client and server. Might be a large time consuming issue as porting the game on new engine -
LO puts high skill players to the one server with casual players because of lack of pop among high skill players. Remember when gold servers were empty and used for making arranged matches. Also the threat segregation worked against new and really really bad players who were getting stomped by casual max ranks players who dethreated to stay away from high skill players. The real solution is to make cross instance matchmaking that Matt announced years ago. High skill players will have higher chance to get matched against each other, casual won't be able to dethreat on purpose to smurf in new player environment. To be honest me and my friends bored of playing public missions because most of the time we get matched against average golds/silvers who can't do nothing against us and most of the time we play arranged matches against each other. Half of my in game mates are taking part in the current tourney. Do you think that all players in the tournament are cheaters? Cops and Robbbers are just generic lore thing that the game doesn't really need anymore because basically there's no difference between enforcers and criminals except ltl and the mechanic with bounty. Many modern MMO games got away from idea of faction segregation even the famous WOW where since Legion Devs allowing you to start searching for a lobby as an opposite faction for the sake of balance. Segregation is an old outdated system that only hurts many games. it seems you didn't understand my idea. I didn't mean to make large missions 40v40. I meant instead of getting matched against players from opposite faction as now you will get mission opposition from among all players in the district. I think it's a good solution till they release a cross instance matchmaking.
-
The real problem is a lack of good players population and outdated matchmaking. Both makes low percent of good players getting matched against average casual players that accumulates the amount of hackusating. For current situation LO can potentially make matchmaking free from factions to have 2x better current matchmaking. Instead of matching against 40 players in district it will be up to 80

APB 64-bit,145hz and beyond?
gremlen replied to nattsvart_katt's topic in General Discussion Archive
wait, I remember how I was getting slides on open beta. I also asked someone in LO discord and got an answer that it's a problem of how the game physics is coded not the engine problem -
Why do I truly believe that OP and queen of love are not gamer guys(girls) and they just don't understand how the games work overall
-
and I don't prefer ntec and oca everywhere
-
The problem with a higher threat than gold is that it will just become a new gold and an old gold becomes an old silver and a bronze will just turn into a green. It's a problem of the current matchmaking system that you're always limited up to 40 players to match against and a problem of low pop. In my opinion, LO have to release a cross-district matchmaking system and add mmr system afterwards. You will start get mmr only after reaching a gold. Adding new threats will just kill lowest threats
-
With my experience of over 10 thousands of hours, I can tell that mostly average players are delusional thinking that a lot of gold players are blatant. There's a huge gap between skill level in the game. Tbh I have never seen any other game with such segregation between skill level. The best way LO can possibly fix it is to release the cross-district matchmaking system they were talking a lot about and start advertising the game, so more new players come to try the game and being able to match each other.
-
There're not enough new players to have a healthy matchmaking for them. Remember when there were tutorial districts? Even with 2k players on EU they didn't have a population to make new players getting missions against each other.
-
it's also not fun when your opponent peeks you from the corner and minttk you and you have no chance to react because his weapon is so accurate that he lands every shot on you. Remember old ntec? Maybe oca 0.63 sec ttk? In reality the game was slower due to players didn't feel a freedom of a movement and people played more passively with an idea how to not get in a bad situation where you can get minttk in jumpshot with ntec or oca with its incredibly broken ttk.

Golds will just abandon each mission till they see known name or will wait for a premade with friends causing less online
-
Yeah, this is what LO should focus on right now. Btw, Matt has clearly stated that they can't bring the old menu back due to background is 720p
