In very few words possible.. for making a game like APB nowadays but complete with physics, IA, multi-features... u need to hire and search for a very small group available of people with skills and experience with games open-world like this one in third person on the game industry market... OFC count their paid check is something similar of some top manager of silicon valley.. and I am not joking about sadly, then we have to count the right for songs and symbols from artist which it may be also SKYROCKET and overcome the staff salaries cost VERY EASILY, the costs of the studio, media and commercial ads etc For example GTA San Andreas was done with a budget of 10 million Dollars.. while GTA V relased 10 years late, it needed a budget of close to 300 million DO you want to know the reason? Yes, just Mainly for paying the technicians, engineer or devs staff , so ""labour cost"".. making a game like APB or GTA nowdays may be comparable to make a Hollywood 5 stars film.. and over

No Matt is not telling bs but if you paid any attention to previous statements and then the roadmap this year you'd notice that the scope of the contacts has changed, saying they aren't ready doesn't mean that they are months and months away but rather that they do not reflect the current state they want them in for release (whether that's a complete re-imagination or just a few items they want to add is up in the air). I highly doubt any work has been done on them in the past months as the developer is focusing on the new matchmaking update. Matt's previous statements would also imply that the work on these contacts have been done on the engine upgrade which has since been scrapped which then means that you would have to back port it all and test it again. Talking about paying attention.. sigh The contradictions, declarations, embembarrassment of someone are starting to reach the height of the Mt. Very few gaming studio has the resources and the staff necessary for making a game similar to APB reloaded nowadays, and especially more less of them will ever think risk assmoney to see if it will be successful or not, they have no chance to risk with cost worth of top tier hollywood movie. The game industry is imploding from taxes, the human labour cost for top expert techicians/ engineers. while the games more and less have always the same sell money per costumer.. the new formulas of purchasable online DLC and especiallty microtransinctions are not well received. Bethesda and EA is a example, releasing early games half or not finished because of the costs of their planned games and staff increasing year per year.

Anyway, in short words and "" IN TEORY"" they can increase the stores capacity but atm they is a discreet risk of losing something after disconnects/ changing servers or weekly resets... Surely at least 3 on 10, so 30% Except some games or publishers with very fast and advanced devs/ services, It's pretty standard statistic and good/ acceptable (I guess???) for any online game with a decent anticheat system and team monitoring the servers/clients having this percentual... the matter is APB it's not neither at decent level services.. no, not at all, because sadly LO services are utterly bad The numbers of claims from players about the supports lacks is a fact. so not a big surpraise also the currently antcheats or servers are not updated/ monitored properly, there are incompetent people working or no people at all checking the situation (or maybe just underpaied or volunteers with few tools/ motivations sigh...) There are tons of youtube videos or streamer selling or showing their hacks without any care with the same characters old of 5 years or + more NOTE: for little I know LO doesnt share the statics of how many people are banned per month, probabily they dont care either to count how many accounts or characters are banned per month... showing name or videos is TABU and you get punished despite the clear fault.. So currently we have certainly more or.. better telling... by logic very Probabily we all know and not a big surpraise we alyways have had MORE than a mere 30% ( exception these One or Two months after release or rare updates of a new anticheat.. )
