This has been going on since forever. The APB community is one of the worse out there yet nobody wants to change for the better, G1 also didnt even try to make ppl behave and so far LO has yet to as well.

When it comes to the server just a single ms change makes everything unstable so imagine the already bad hitreg when the server ms gets worse, you can have the gun pressed against the other person your still missing them not to mention the inability to drive or move due to the move commands having a significant delay. Do you even play bro? If it was my own ping do you really think id be asking LO to look at the servers?

Jericho server is randomly going between 33 and 36ms according to the in game tracker. @MattScott @Lixil can we look into this.

I really think this needs to be delayed untill the engine update this way things are smoother and more ppl will stay instead of see the games trash and leave

Heres your answer. No it wont as the hacks will be updated to get around EAC and all these closets will continue to do what they do with 0 repercussion and no worries.

All this is guna do is bring out more hacks as there are still plenty out there. Unless LO is going to step it up once EAC is launched its just going to be surpassed and were guna see all the hackers and closet hackers in droves in the new mode forcing any legit player out. Also @MattScott I hope you guys are prepared for a long month as these hackers are going to step up the DDOS attacks further to drive anybody away from playing. Given the fact that anytime an event happens to date theres freq attacks to ruin it your guna see this happen when this launches. Better have staffing at max. Now aside from history there this wont work as its still the old engine so there will be problems.

Exactly. Not everyone is an adult. Some ppl can handle it others cant. The core issue is that these boxes are in games meant for 12yr olds (overwatch, TF2, Maplestory to name afew) and that there teaches gambling. 12yr olds dont know better and regardless of parenting this could lead to problems down the road. Its a horrid practice and the cons outweigh the pros. There here for the sole purpose of ripping the consumer off and getting extra profit out of digital content. If these boxes had better odds or a value cap where you spend x amount and u get the prize no mater what it would be much better all around but this isn't the case cause all these companies are greedy as hell. Kids dont go to casinos and they shouldn't be around these boxes its one in the same, gambling. Your trying to defend something thats known bad where the cons outweigh the pros. Please, stop trying find any reason to validate the boxes there proven to not be good and the majority want them gone. If they weren't so bad there wouldn't be legislation to ban them. You can get the best guns right away perm just by completing the tutorial and all guns can be purchased for in game currency. What exactly is p2w about that? The games addicting and some still wana play it. TF2 is dated and its still played.

The point of the whole suit going on in Europe is cause these boxes resemble gambling and as such its teaching kids at a very young age how to get hooked on gambling which is a very bad thing. Thats the whole point of this your just trying to find a valid reason as to why these boxes are good and my point this whole time is the entirety of it for everybody. If you really wana go there ive spent on JMBs in the past but stopped many yrs ago as there a waste of money and my money can be put to better use in other games where I can get more for it without having to gamble, which again goes right back to the boxes being the problem. Nobody in their right mind wants to gamble and spend extra for in game items that rightfully should be sold outright for a set price.

LO could get income via actually releasing new stuff and content in game instead of relying on gambling boxers that teach kids how to gamble and not releasing anything new. Yup and a lack of parenting. But the point is that this will affect LO as JMBs are gambling boxes in a nutshell and arent consumer friendly from the piss poor win rate to the lesser rewards that arent worth a penny.

There are kids under 15 playing APB fyi. APB might be geared for 18+ but kiddies are playing it anyway so this will be an issue for LO regardless.

What are community standards? Ppl grief, purposely shame others via a broken threat system, doint want to play against their own skill, dont help others. APB has no standards no matter what the TOS says. Its not enforced and ppl have been getting away with it for yrs and still do. That will never change due to the type of ppl here and the refusal to change.

If it works then there wouldnt be any hackers. If it doesnt work hackers get past it and we see them in game. What other between work and doesnt is there?

Anti cheats either work or dont so in a way yes it is that straight foward.
