In all honesty this mode should have been released with the engine upgrade. As APB sits currently with its massively flawed everything its not going to go over well. The new engine should come out followed by severely needed fixes to matchmaking, threat, servers and hitreg before any new gameplay.

Usually for me hitreg depends on the day as no 2 days are the same when it comes to these servers (which they should all be the same all the time) one day my reg can be fine and the next im shooting beanbags at others that even though clearly hit dont count as a hit. Then there are those days where hitreg starts out fine the 1st half of the day then dont work the 2nd half. With this sort of instability in the hitreg its more then just the netcode. Im on the US east coast so im not far off from the servers compared to others on Jericho so id hate to see their issues with hitreg. Servers could handle much to begin with anyway? If LO got state of the art servers that can handle the latest games then a game as dated as APB shouldnt be an issue even with the customization thats around.

Its a collectors item more then anything else now. I still got mine sealed up so its value is worth something at least.

Its both, if the servers lag (and lets be frank they lag quite abit and often) it messes up reg further.

Its a server issue and one thats been around well before LO took over. The pcs were building over the last few yrs could handle APB better then the current servers can and it wont be resolved if these servers continue to run APB.

Thats griefing no doubt. Blocking any roadway, spawn or spawn ent/exit is griefing and is suspendable under TOS. Use the in game report feature to report each person u see there under the griefing/cheating tab.

LO when will you guys finally get some new servers that can support the game better? The hitreg issues going on within APB is mainly due to how poor these servers are and the fact they cant handle everything going on. So far today unless your using crutch weapons like NFAG or AMG your shots dont register for crap and aiming is worthless as that makes the hitreg worse.

Those G1 servers are still crashing on APB as we speak

They been working on it for days so far no luck. Im pretty sure though its the relic, cheap servers G1 bought when they still ran the game that cant handle a game as old as APB. The history of these servers is nothing but constant problems and nothing short of new ones will fix the issue.

Doubt it. Server crash means nothings happening today.

Not to mention this login screen requires alot less to run which for a game like APB saving some data would only help.

FFA doesnt have the marksman zoom the OBIR does which makes it more viable at closer ranges. They may be the same but that one thing makes the FFA better then the OBIR.

No not really. Ticket times have been 3+ months for awhile now and it isnt improving past that. @MattScotthas failed epically when it comes to support and prompt resolutions. Hes too focused on other things then the core fundamentals of the game.

@MattScott @Lixil there is a severe bug with the HUD that needs immediate patching, My first few matches were fine with no issues but then I swapped to an alt and my hud stopped working. Only the mission info, kills and team into showed up objective markers and other stuff wouldnt show up. At first the map wouldnt show obj either but that came back. Your griefing, be glad the GM didnt suspend you for that as it is against the TOS and is something u can get suspended over. Also yes you are preventing ppl from playing as now they can spawn cars there.

if thats what u wana do then get the reg vers, if u want a pink weapon icon in the hud u get the pink guns.

Normally it starts a week, week 1/2 before valentines and runs a week after so valentines is actually included. LO just seems to have G1s sense of time in releasing events, after the holiday has already happened.

I agree its not in the same league but at the end of the day it is a exploit, to be blunt. That would be realistic as a breach charge is used to blow open doors in reality so ppl arent sitting ducks opening a door. It would also mean anyone camping the door would be blown up on either side which personally adds abit of a challenge to gameplay so id be all for it.

Well be getting a better more accurate threat system at some point as well as the current one is broken along with the matchmaking.

Actually the valentines carbine is just as functional as the orig. 2 free slots with the hearts tagger mod on it. So is the Star R&D III.

I used to play 22FPS for 4 yrs with a Pentium 4 till the motherboard and HDD fried. When I travel I play on a laptop with 30s fps and hotel internet tyvm.

Well hopefully 3.5 is a new chapter in APB. As playing since 2011 the current chapter has dragged on way too long
