If you charge it up a bit more it's not really hard to get 2-click kills at close-mid ranges.

The Bullshark is good, remember, just because you aren't good with a gun doesn't mean it's bad.

I don't get why you're posting this: it's entirely off-topic.

And you're 100% sure it was the real MattScott? It was probably one of the fakes bro.

Should perhaps be specified that the rewards were not added directly to your account, but are a code added to your ARMAS.

Why is there so much bizarre personal shit on the forums nowadays?

Explain to me why I couldnt call backup please.

Placeholder posts are a bad idea: that's just how you get nobody to see your post because you don't get notifications for edits. -
That's prioritizing short-term rewards over the longterm health of a game, that's how you make a game die. If a player's going to leave because the game's properly balanced they're not a players you can rely on, i.e. they aren't one of the ones spending the most money and they aren't going to stay long anyways.

^^^This^^^ APB comes first, the community second, and as it is the majority of APB's community has very poor knowledge of APB.

It's impossible without being in the match and previous matches of all of the players to know if this match is unbalanced, as it's likely one or two of the enemy Golds are low enough in Gold and one or two of your Silvers are high enough in Silver that Matchmaking deemed it a balanced match. Visual threat is a purposeful oversimplification of the underlying system. That all being said, matchmaking can obviously have issues, and I'm not saying this match was balanced, just probably why you couldn't call backup. So only you could answer why, at least without giving more info. Nice symbol BTW. *EDIT* If RealBlue was Bronze before you won as you said to me in PMs, then yeah, it gets a little more confusing, I'll admit. -
The Oblivion is without a doubt in my mind the worst gun in the game, that doesn't mean you can't use it and win, but it's the worst gun in the game (or at least competes with the Harbinger.) It simply has virtually no upsides over any other high velocity rifle. Also, this is a testament to weapon balance and how careful people should be when approaching the subject. Aim is, quite honestly, the least important skill in APB. If you can choose a gun that suits you, position yourself correctly, work with your team moderately well, and thus control the battlefield, at least half the time you won't need good technical skills to win the mission, and seeming as my win ratio and KDR are consistently below 1.0, I can say with certainty that you can easily be Gold winning only half the time. As I said before, you only need to be decent-ish half the time to maintain Gold, that doesn't exactly qualify as consistent. Silvers are people who don't realize they need to be swapping shoulders constantly, don't know when and where they drive a car to go under the rader, when to jump and when not to jump to see over obstacles, don't know the effective ranges of every gun, don't know the weakest ranges of every gun, don't know (approximately) the TTK or spread of every gun, don't know that vehicles blow up bigger vertically than horizontally, think that reskins have different recoil patterns, don't understand curve mechanics and how to use them to your favor, etc., and they don't know these almost by definition because these small things are what make you play APB well, not aim. It's knowing when you're safe to take a shot from a Scout, or what range an AAEPD won't hurt you that makes you Gold from my experience, not being good at point and click adventures. If someone doesn't know the deep intricacies of APB, I don't want them near balance. We're talking about a community here where I can argue with someone for hours that it's not because the PMG is OP that they died climbing up a ladder and they won't believe me.

You're Gold, right? And you have an Oblivion listed as your primary in your sig, right? Sure Dark and Nite, there are some very, very rare exceptions where someone is playing with the worst internet or some shit, but it's pretty rare. I don't hate Silvers or think low of them, but I also don't want them in any way responsible for the direction of APB.
-
Yes, we're pointing out that threat is a joke, and as such if you can't manage Gold you yourself are basically a joke, at least as far as APB is concerned. We're not boasting, we're just saying anyone who's not even Gold doesn't know how to APB.
-
The fact that you manage to stay Gold despite physical conditions holding you back pretty strongly suggests that if you're not Gold you have no clue how to play APB.
-
I mean. . . what you wrote kinda' relies on semantics, so if you say rifle we're all going to assume you mean the guns that are called rifles in-game. Either way, what you wrote was wrong.

its... not a troll. shoot at a wallwith automatic gun and you will see that bullets go out of the crosshair This isn't a bug, it's just the fact that crosshairs aren't magic and need to follow the basic geometric principals. Basically, without getting into it, third person shooter crosshairs can never be accurate at every range.

As Cooky kinda' hinted at, the 0.7 TTK is a moot point due to how gawd awful it is at shooting full auto: the STAR or FAR will win in an even matchup in full-auto every time, bar really awful RNG, and once you get to SMGs the NTEC is quite honestly out of the question in close quarters. I don't know what to say if you're going to deny that the N-TEC blooms like a fuzzy bunny except get your head out of your patootie and look at your screen instead of your nostalgia.
-
Well obviously I don't agree with you, lol. Off the bat, the N-TEC is great, yes, but it's not overpowered, it's greatly overrated, and many other weapons are greatly underrated. First off, in APB assault rifles are *generally* supposed to be versatile, i.e. their "niche" is that they don't have one niche, they cover a lot of ranges relatively well. The N-TEC then, like other assault rifles, can do very well in any range from say. . . 10-50m unmodded: inside 10m lots of guns are far better than it due to its bloom and hip-fire accuracy, and outside 50 it loses range and doesn't have the best accuracy (as I said, unmodded, and yes, I'm very aware the gun can get kills inside of 10m and outside of 50m, but it's not good at it.) Other assault rifles, however, handle the idea of being all-around good guns differently, but generally are seen as non-viable due to being closer range or more high concept. The STAR, for example, is just as good as the N-TEC: It tap fires nearly as well with comparable accuracy, (9cm at 10m in MM as opposed to 8.4cm, or 45cm at 50m instead of 42cm, albeit the STAR does not burst as well,) and full-autos much better, making the STAR almost as effective as the N-TEC at 10-50m with the bonus of being entirely viable from 0-10m as well due to very effective hip-firing. The FAR, similarly, is extremely viable, serving as a halfway point between the STAR and the old N-TEC (and the most accurate of the three I might add): the FAR is extremely viable both tap fired and in full-auto and easily effective from 0-50m unmodded. The ATAC, similarly, simply is not trying to be the N-TEC, it fills the role of an assault rifle differently by forgoing some range and accuracy in exchange of viability in full-auto, I.E. capability to actually achieve technical TTK. Few full-auto guns in APB boast the ability to actually practically get their technical TTK, but the ATAC can easily get 0.7s kills from (I'd estimate) 10-30m, and with its serviceable hip-firing it's amazing from 0-40m, and perhaps the most close-range-viable of any assault rifle. I think you get the point of my thought-process at this point, so I won't go on to say why I think other more controversial assault rifles are viable in their own merit (albeit slightly under powered) or why other guns outside of the assault rifle category are just as good or better than the N-TEC. I just don't get why people blow the N-TEC way out of proportion as if they have a religion based around it, 'cause just a little correction, the N-TEC doesn't kill as fast as (or do as well in CQC as) an SMG, nor is it even close to as accurate as the CR762 like you claim, plus it's among the worst assault rifles for CQC. No.

Shame on you.

Yeah Im excited too, especially for the COBRA. I'm disappointed in you Cooky: I was relying on you to be a nervous wreck like me.

I will say, I personally don't see an issue with LO staff competing against players openly. Especially when you mention something like where you were running around having people try to catch and kill you, the Reloaded team did version of that where the Dev or GM directly fought back against the players and it was a blast. I appreciate the apology though. <3

No, like, MattScott said they're abandoning the name "Reloaded" but keeping "Gamersfirst".
