why wouldn't it? pretty sure they already run a check to see if you are in a mission since you can't ready up again after a mission starts(I don't code but it should be a simple check to see if the player is flagged as being in a mission and you would run GC right after in_mission is set to true or 1 or whatever) and they def should know when you die since it needs to trigger a respawn timer.

I understand it won't work now however it'll def work with upgrade to 64-bit that being said it should either happen after death (needs to take into account death timer since ppl with faster computers would just respawn quicker) or it should happen after a mission starts/ends.

or just have it trigger after a mission starts/ends memory shouldn't fill up in the time it takes for a mission to end unless the game is just that unoptimized or like you said just after death but that'd make it so players with faster pc's would respawn quicker so might want to have some kind of tie to the time it takes to clear memory

this. 2014-2016 was around the best time honestly I saw way more variety back than almost every secondary gun was used besides the colby snr and almost every primary gun was used both shotguns, every rifle, every AR, every SMG, and every sniper rifle.

it isn't only the servers though the garbage collection lasts longer than the the avg ttk of many guns which if you experience it during a gun battle its very likely you'll lose that gun battle. overall game has to much randomness caused by bad performance of client and server.

obv they are distributed poorly I'm saying player skill isn't being properly represented with threat level especially at the top end

this. the skill gap is the biggest in gold(between the best and worst golds), green should be removed and a threat level should be added above gold.

yes just adding more bloom sucks it just artificially slows ttk but I think ttk is to fast anyway most guns kill in 1 second or less which means if you aren't bad at the game you'll always kill when you get the drop on a player[bad for 3rd person games makes camping 2 powerful](unless you know we have the game running at sub 30 tick and have crap servers and garbage collection which lasts longer than the avg ttk of most weapons). Fix all the crap and you'll find that the ttk is actually too fast.

this. At least golds are able to play on jericho now -
max distance as in the max distance you can cover with epinephrine effects once the hitbox stops desync'ing as much and they go back to there original speed

No skilled opp falls for the radio(hint it doesn't make any shooty noise) and rarely do I kill players who use epinephrine since hit-reg on an already desync'ing hitbo-rx(trash servers with trash tick-rate and players with trash connection) is exacerbated by the speed increase unless they try to use it at its max useful distance which no skilled opp would try and pull.

Thats a video of the broken slower/rtw ttk servers G1 put up in response to people asking for slower ttk which I'm pretty sure they sabotaged it purposely since the person who changed the ttk originally still worked at the company and was in a even higher position. Notice how I said broken they were never properly implemented nades insta killed vehicles also notice how there is no recoil rtw had recoil it was implemented before rtw shut down. -
Yes CA speeds up the regen time however its predictable the enemy knows when you start regening it doesn't give players the ability to control when they start regening point being it gives players way to much control. Not to mention the reason we have such shit cover is because apb was originally designed for a slower ttk the cover issue(also slow climbing/door kicking animation) wouldn't be nearly as impactful if the ttk was just increased slightly would make it so shield and epinephrine aren't needed as bandaid.

Have you ever played a competitive game in your life? Do you understand that every time you add a new feature or mechanic they need to be balanced to fit properly in the game or were you the kid who tried to put the square block in the round hole? Consumables are random rewards no one except no life's use them constantly and when they are used like that they are broken. Med spray as I've already stated allows one to decide exactly when they want to start there regen if you don't think giving players control over the exact moment they want to start there health regen is broken than I'm never going to convince you.

tl;dr. Giving players control over when they start there health regen with just the push of a button is broken no amount of balancing will fix that and as you've said the game lacks cover in many areas however giving players a means to mitigate something that shouldn't even be an issue is stupid just fix whats already there and stop adding stuff to the game its just dumb and makes the game run worse with every patch.

Every single consumable has negatively impacted the game they were designed for the players that make mistakes and don't want to be negatively impacted by a mistake or as a bandaid to fix a greater issue. Med spray = players have the choice of when they want to start regening health thats broken af. Epinephrine and mobile cover are just a bandaid for the lack of cover on maps like waterfront much like car spawn is a bandaid for the shit spawns apb has. Overall its just lazy game design and should be removed.

Why are they here to stay? It doesn't take a genius to see they've had a negative impact on the game and it can't be that hard to remove them.

if you can't get to the district selection screen either you did something wrong setting up the login server and creating a character/user in the database or you have an old build of apbemu I know you could get to the selection screen just would never be able to load into a district. unlikely they would've already done so right after LO sold the APB IP to that Chinese company very difficult to take legal action when you don't own the IP anymore -

APBEmu was never finished could never get in district that being said 4game the Russian APB had a working build of the game leak after they closed there servers but the guy never sent it to anyone else they did show it off in a video and in screenshots. -
just need to remove them already no way they can balance consumables they can't even balance the guns
