  1. I used to use CA 3 but since have switched to 2 and have been enjoying it more so that 3 so between 2 and 3 is preference. Any thing lower and you're most likely at a disadvantage when fighting someone who does have CA. I would like to see CA 2 be the norm (since it is a balance of 50% faster regen but 50% longer to fully regen) and thus removing the mod entirely. But that's my opinion. Definitely not true. The ursus is no longer the big bad gun it used to be, It sucks up close and at range but dominates in the middle. Oca Nano used to be a no skill weapon, but has evolved to be what it's supposed to be, a side arm. So trying to kill someone at their full health is just not gonna cut it with this specific side arm. I myself am more of a Nunavut person or golden ACT. I recently rented the corsair, its......okay.... its supposed to be a slug shotgun but the range really needs to be buffed imo not too much range that it out does snipers but say enough that its a three shot at further than it's current range. Otherwise fun gun Kevlar is a bit odd, I love using it in tandem with an LMG for the juggernaut load out (more of a meme and a fun time than something that actually works well) Kev 3 is bad because like u said it makes you slow, and in apb being the one to get shot less will aid u in the victory, meaning you can't really tank damage in this game and staying on the move will be what keeps you alive longer. (IMO) Ive asked myself this many times as well, because u see pros sprint jump with medium obj and that is what is called an exploit, so in that sense they are using an exploit to give them an advantage over players like myself that don't yet know how to do that maneuver. So technically they are cheating. Plus picking out cheaters is hard in this game but you can for sure pick out who the try hards are in a game that is as old as APB is.
  2. sometimes though they do it late into the match, they pulled the objective off our point when we had 11 points and they had 12 so they ran with it (in waterfront) and they took it all the way to the other side of the map... there was nothing that could be done with the obj being 400m away and only 20 seconds to deliver it.
  3. Not really if some sort of zone system was made to prevent runners it would be a lot less frustrating. If an alternative could be made what if outside the zone the further away you go the slower your car becomes? Or how about the timer stops or even slows down (wouldn't be the best solution). I think some new end game stuff needs to be developed what if...matchmaking puts two games together right? so like 4 vs 4 in one match and another 4 vs 4 on another and when both games reach the final obj it becomes an 8 vs 8. Could be cool
  4. Can agree and disagree, Im sure LO have the funds to keep the game afloat for a while even if said cheaters were banned. And think of the game this way, Someone cheats > New player gets mad > quits game > player base doesn't grow > less income LO Does best to ban cheaters > Player gets mad because matchmaking is currently bad > quits game > player base doesn't grow > less income LO Does best to ban cheaters + Reworks how matchmaking is handled > Player is given a fair chance to play the game > Enjoys the game and decides to play more > purchases premium > See grind go way down > Player has more fun and decides to put some G1C into their character to make them look good > Realize they would like to have a perma gun in their arsenal and purchase it with G1C or JT > More Income Cheaters are like a tumor they should be cut out or stopped as soon patootie possible to prevent more damage. But another problem from this game doesn't stem from cheaters alone, it's that this game and it's weapons are pretty different in behavior compared to other shooters and when a new player plays with that default star (without knowing it's true potential) it is easy for them to say the person is cheating because they simply do not know why they failed. (p.s. I hate runners in this game ((People who take the objective and run away with it)) can we a get a system implemented where if a player tries to run away with the obj the game forces it to be dropped when a certain distance away from the base? Like a zone system once it enters this zone it cannot exit causing it to be forced dropped.) p.p.s this was my experience XD
  5. i remember a while back I was playing and no matter which district I chose i could not get into a game. So is it annoying? or a blessing in disguise?
  6. even if it makes the game un fun? you sir are stronger willed than I I hate getting people who are worst than me and better than me... I like fair fights where both sides are neck at neck for the win. Not matches where I get slaughtered or I do the slaughtering But of course that's in a perfect world and im sure no game can do that 100% of the time
  7. just a time i picked, im saying id rather have the matchmaking look through what players are available, then pick out the ones that are as close to me as possible. Regardless if they are in a mission, and if they are in a mission ill wait for that opp. Thinking of the saying "good things come to those who wait"

  9. I hate when people say "that match was the best the matchmaking could do" I would rather wait 10 more minutes for a match that is fair rather than on my team I get 2 silvers and my opp being 3 times better than mine combined.

  12. yes a level 255 is a noob and by no means tell you that they have been playing long enough to get to that max rank. 255 should be how you can see if someone is competent at the game. Honestly though, you can tell if someone is a sweat by their first kill. Ive tried that a bunch but 80% of the time it's not "stable" and i just see people being toxic to each other. Or just it just ends up being a bad team not necessarily bad players just the group doesn't work well. Merged. while phasing will be better, what will it matter if jehrico only gets max 160 players a day...you're still fighting the same people. I suppose it will hopefully result in 50/50 matches win some loose some. It is so incredible frustrating to fight the same people repeatedly and just getting repeatedly stomped. LO should have done slight tweaks instead of full on reworks right off the bat. ( or maybe they did idk ) Shotguns used to be really enjoyable, but the problem with them is that you can dip in and out of cover with a shotgun giving them that advantage. And where LO tried to make shotguns more skill based I think they did the opposite, to me they became less reliable sometimes they were 2 shot sometimes 5, so the only way to guarantee the kill was to be 5m away from them, but even if you could close to a distance like that chances are you'll end up dead because of the PMG or Joker Carbine. That's just one example because I love playing shotguns in every game I have. I love getting in the face of my enemy and getting the jump on them. While I think it would be hard to do just because apb is apb, battlefield has it so you need to be accurate but if u are accurate it's a 1 shot kill, and it feels reliable and fun, if my crosshair was just a bit off target I would probably die first. Like I said hard to do in apb but that is an enjoyable experience from another game. (same goes for rainbow six siege). I keep telling people that APB has a reaaallly good core gameplay it's just the other pieces of the puzzle that need work. I want to love this game, but with this past week's experience making me lash out at my family id rather just walk away.

The hope is that with the new engine matchmaking will be way better than it has ever been, but this game NEEDS a bigger population, and that wont happen if people who are gold 255 getting matched with bronzes and silvers Part of the problem is that on paper 2 silvers + 1 gold against 2 golds is fair, but in practice 1 or both of those silvers are not good enough at the game to be able to compete so they end up getting stomped on by the 255's that don't give a shit. Its because of players like this (255's that don't give a shit and try hard against anyone) that the game will die if remained like this.

I have 3 characters 1000 hours (apparently that's not a lot to people here but it's my most played steam game) and I try to get my friends to play but most hate it now as well so im forced to solo queue. Then the matchmaking gives me some of the worst matches I have ever seen for a whole week straight. I had to walk out of the house cause I was so frustrated. (I have a crim and enf and I have the same experience). Im not one to accuse people of hacking, but man have i seen some sketchy behavior. But that could be blamed on either new buffs/nerfs to weapons, actual skill gap, or maybe something server related. I really like this game which is why I am going to keep it installed. But seeing how guns work in the game right now, and hearing Matt say they (maybe misunderstood) are on the right path for weapon balance it's kind of depressing. So I figured if I cant enjoy the game I don't want to give little orbit any more money. The whole reason I got premium in the first place was because I wanted to help fund Little Orbit into making the game something better. Even though we have/are getting premium for free I kept my sub for that reason. But if this is how the game is going to be I don't feel like supporting it anymore. While I agree that the beta alone wont save this game, im hoping that an easier code base better performance etc will assist in making the game better than it's current state. I really do hope this game becomes popular/succeeds again. But until then ill keep my $$ per month

I play a huge variety of games (not that im good at all of them) but battlefield is my favorite, so I may be biased when I say that, what if there was a system in APB where you could capture respawn points. Have it be like, wait 10 seconds to spawn where you want (or some other time), or spawn immediately for a random spawn. Hell, why not give APB a conquest gamemode while your at it And im sure once this engine can be released more of these kinds of issues will start being looked at. I just wanted to bring it to some kind of attention as it seems other topics are more important.
  20. maybe a better question would be, would it be better if fight club didn't have a select spawn system? but i was more seeing if there was any talk to improving the respawn systen
  21. I hear so much talk about match making and such but not to much about the respawn system While it has it's ups and downs it can be rewarding or so punishing especially for new players. Ever play a game and get repeatedly killed and every time you get killed the spawns get pushed further and further back. Or have a game where multiple times in a game you had the ability to spawn right behind the enemy. After playing the dynamic event while some people are very upset at getting shot in the back there's no more of that having to wait to get back in, you just get back in after a death this makes dying exceptionally less punishing. Part of APB's game-play is to surprise the enemy get behind them have a couple of your buddies keep them distracted while you and another guy try and get them at different angle. But if the game keeps making you spawn as if this was WW1 behind the trenches whats the point of the system at all? It's kind of like how a lot of the "cross the street" buttons are. They are there, but they don't actually do anything but keep you patient because humans are used to pushing buttons and getting what they want. Bit of a rant, but I would like to see some input on this, (or point to a similar thread if this has done multiple times) Happy Hunting
