I wish they tried to hit "a homerun" as matt keeps saying, and tried to get all the districts to "run" then let both versions of the game go live. Because it seems what you would think is an easy task of, hey just get these 2 districts to run nicely seems to be more then they can chew. Remember earlier this year when they ran the beta tests? It sure sounded like they just about finished fight club then. Now that we had the open beta, feels like they haven't really done anything. I hope they are telling the truth when they tell us that these tests are in fact letting them collect data, because it took about a month to fix login issues (and im sure a few other bugs) Im convinced along with others we wont see this engine for quite a while. And to simply put it, APB will not survive trying to be an mmo, it just wont. Back when this game first came out you can call it an mmo, but so many games of today (mainly battle royal) are able to have 100 player servers without issues. APB weapon mechanics are shit, plain and simple. No buffing and nerfing will ever fix that. LO need to take a hard look at how this game's shooting mechanics work, and rebuild them. I should make another poll asking what keeps people playing APB, because for me personally it's the customization and the addiction of winning. Gameplay is by far the worst Don't believe me? Besides the golden three: Matchmaking, Cheating, and Lack of content why else does this game's player base hang by a thread? Because in the end, no body should look at the engine upgrade with graphics in mind, graphics will never matter in a game like this. If LO want's to bring people back they need make massive improvements with 2020 shooter standards in mind.

Which atac is the one with mobile sling,imp3 and, hs3? I bought that off the market. But i never have been able to lazer beam anything in this game. Except for the medusa of course.

LOL I do not doubt Which is why im like...is it really overpowered? Because skilled players know how to use it how would you even nerf an atac? more bullets to kill? Feel like anything else and you're ruining the point of it...maybe a range nerf?

Older games will run worst as time goes on, it's why the engine upgrade is necessary for this game to live on outside of any graphic fidelity. Now if I had to guess, enabling laptop mode would probably drop graphics down as well as lock fps to something lower so that it is putting minimal effort on your gpu+cpu (just a guess). kinda skipping around, but my fps didn't go up at all when setting my settings lower, I set them lower to try and reduce the stutter that I would get. I am running on a 144hz monitor with gsync and haven't had anything horrible Have you tried windowed borderless? I have had experience where that can improve performance.

The more you play against it the more you begin to see the gaps in the armor. But it either needs more bloom, more bullets to kill, or it needs to shoot slower. But I tell you, nothing is more satisfying than spanking some kid who pulls out a pmg thinking that's going to clutch the game XD

Last night was the worst I have seen lag, (I saw someone jump 50m into the air then across the street stun me through cover and arrest me from 50m away). Stutter I was able to reduce by using the advanced launcher and set world detail to shit A good way to have fun playing APB is excepting that it's shit and hoping it will get better But if you are experienced, I would probably wait for the beta. Or continue to play and except the game's major flaws. I would love to see a theme slider or Mute theme button but it would kinda be stupid if they did that because in a way it customization. So I would say before muting someone's theme you have to hear it at least once. because while some make troll themes others have really good ones

Hmm I guess when i played before LO i never noticed I get the cheats part, but cheaters would use weapons with the least amount of RNG anyway Plus I wouldn't say RNG is more realistic, it would be stupid for any gun manufacturer to not have a reliable gun (which is my example in this case) If they wanted RNG to be realistic I would get it if it became less and less as your character advanced giving the impression that your character has learned how to use a gun

you can make anything lore friendly just give it a backstory that makes sense or even make a point that it is rare to see an occurrence like this. IDK much about the APB lore besides a few things i read so what im saying is most likely wrong but for the hell of it: After the city borders have been shut down to try and contain the mass spread of crim, the world outside continues. Testing over at IO have seen what is similar to their ever popular Growl but with a lighter chassis and more power. But importing these vehicles into the city is restricted by the border police so that leaves one option...to smuggle them... again just a way of saying lore blocks something from happening, idk anything about the lore in APB but if I did im sure i could come up with a better example XD Im a car enthusiast, no im not super familiar with the ins and outs of cars but I can tell when one is tuned and has good taste. I for one would think seeing a Super car in San Paro would be really neat, something fast but fragile.
