well OSRS is garbage because they just brought back everything that runescape did wrong in the first place, like promoting pay2win and promoting botting with the readdition of the grand exchange. old school APB would just mean APB without LO or mattscott, because they are the reason for it continuing to suck and not developing or managing it in any meaningful way.

why do you think anyone is going to volunteer their time to your OTW if they are just going to be vsing cheaters over and over again which has been all APB is since 2018 when LO came around. Merged. also your entire concept of new matchmaking is the idea of Matt scott who doesn't even play the game and never has never will... as an APB veteran i can tell you from a just a glance that it is a horrible idea and defeats the entire point of the game. which is the point of being open world. what you should be adding if anything, is more open world engagements because those are what create the emergent gameplay that APB is so famous for. (like fixing the voip system) instead you do the opposite and restrict us like putting kill volumes on rooftops because we aren't allowed to have fun in a video game. and banning us for driving dump trucks into people. LO has ZERO clue what APB is and every update only harms the game. along with their cheater infested tournaments and spct, and GMs who dont actually do ban cheaters and just police what people are allowed to say. and ban people for having edgy symbols... the game doesn't even need new content all it needs is 1. ban cheaters + stop banning ppl for inane SJW reasons. 2. servers fixed and lag fixed, fps too. 3. bug fixes. 4. balance to existing content (eg car gameplay). ONLY once you have arrived at 4. should you even begin to start considering reworking the fundamental game like the matchmaking.

funniest thing is it looks worse than every other car. even the moirai is better and is completely f2p.

unfortunately LO supports cheating, they unbanned cheaters and let cheaters play on stream even after being permanently banned. (one streamer has been banned over 40 times permanently, and still just makes new accounts and continues cheating and playing with cheaters) they only care about banning people for crashing their cars into people and blocking objectives (even though its literally an open world game where that is supposed to be a thing). the GMs are all weirdos and the dev too, they don't actually care about the game or know what they are doing with it. they are just happy to have a badge and power over this dead game. similarly SPCT has cheaters in it. and the "APB community tournament" has cheaters and cheater supporters as both judges and casters... pretty hilarious. but they all just circlejerk and pretend that they are legit, even though all the legit good players have already quit apb years ago. so now this game is just cheaters vs cheaters, and devs/admins are just all weirdos playing it for powertrip and passive income from ARMAS sales pay2win guns/cars, and overpriced clothes.

i think all the problems are because they added all these new mods and low yields after the game was already made, and so it all doesnt make sense because they got slapped on as new content rather than fit into the game. low yields are just cancer designed to be spammed. flak removing 1 nade just makes dealing with cars/car spawns miserable. etc also i dont remember what the game was like before sprintshooting nerf happened.

they block shaders but let hackers play, and they have hackers for spct. basically hack vs hack dead game that will never receive updates cos it has no devs.

having a mod that specifically counters an entire class of weapons is pretty dumb, especially if its got no downsides. alot of the r195 mods are really bad/gimmicky in apb. also the utility items are bad/gimmicky. i think out of all the r195 mods and utility items, the only interesting thing to come of them is car surfer letting me get onto more rooftops. and the shield item being used to block doorways is pretty cool too. i think better balance would be if they combined flak jacket and kevlar together. you would see probably more people running that than you do either of them by themselves. fragile is also garbage though, because its the opposite of kevlar. but the only other r195 mod is that stupid valzipram tablets one that makes it so you can't get run over. maybe fragile could be conjoined with happy landings. but it would still probably suck having fragile HP. honestly youd probably have to rebalance literally all damage in the game just to make fragile not feel like garbage lol. APB 2 when???? put me as lead designer
