  1. If only you knew what you were talking about you'd realize noob guardian is right lol. Getting 3/3 shots with DMR and out-TTKing HVR ain't hard nor uncommon, 88+ range is just the icing on the cake that guarantees you're winning any fight (and consistently playing at that range is possible in a lot of cases, especially during Defend stages)

  3. Hello I only play sniper rifles and I main DMR AV Please, PLEASE, stop doing your calcs only basing yourself on max damage. If you guys had used DMR AV once in your life you'd know that it's impossible to get a full max dmg mag on a moving car, you'll usually get 2 max dmg shots at best. DMR AV is decent against cars, but eh otherwise. Dog Ear used to be MUCH better than it at dealing with cars (due to much faster fire rate, higher movement speed, and many other factors) and now it's just a very strong sniper (imo) that can still threaten weakened cars if needed. I'm personally more on the side of "buff weaker guns" instead of "nerf stronger guns", but I can see what they wanted to do in this patch. Still, as many people mentioned, DMR AV won't see more usage until they'll address some of its core weaknesses that also plague the SD variant, like its atrocious equip time coupled with its bad mobility.   4. As much as I don't mind territory control at all, why has Baylan Shipping been half empty since this new ruleset has been implemented? Judging by the poll's result it should be the opposite. Also please, lower the population cap back to 32, so more than 1 district will be active at a time and click spamming issues will be mitigated

  6. Tried logging in the beta for 2 hours, eventually giving up afterwards (cause I also had to go eat). I was hyped af for trying out the beta and this was a huge letdown to me. So I decided to boot up the normal, old APB. I wanted to play Baylan Shipping, but then I remembered that I won't be able to do so for a long time still bc of the Gun Game event, which I don't like playing cause it lags way too much on my PC. Still, I decide to try a couple missions of Gun Game, and as soon as I get tired I go play a bit of Financial. After a good 5 minutes of spamming "Join", I immediately get teamed up with 3 silvers (nothing to say abt them, I'm silver too atm) and our opponents are, of course, 3 golds all from the same clan. No backup allowed on our part either. I shake my head, get in my car and look for where to go. Until... I realize I got that stupid bug that prevents the game from showing items' and players' positions. I was super close to getting to R18 with a contact, so I decide to play the mission regardless instead of just turning off my PC. Of course, we start getting bodied. Of course, in the end my score sucked so much I didn't even manage to rank up. Of course, right as I press K again the game crashes. Please, hurry up and fix APB. I try my best to stay positive, but days like this put a hard toll on me.

  8. It's a beta, technical issues are bound to happen. Don't stress yourself too hard Matt, even if it's not the build you were hoping to let us play you still got those bugs covered. I'm personally really happy to be able to play regardless of how stable it will be lol

  10. While I agree Oblivion's stats seem pretty good in paper, I feel like they don't work well together. Equip time is too long to make any use of Mob Sling, which means that it can't take full advantage of its accuracy gimmick, which results in a frustrating "must do" thing that is very often unwelcome (like when shooting under cars). And in this regard, you could forego HS3, but said issues will become even worse and it's not like Oblivion benefits from many other mods whatsoever, so to me it feels pointless to do so. You're basically forced to use 3PS3 alongside HS3 and CJ3, and at that point it's useless to have slightly better equip time than average if your loadout is gonna be the same thing. Speaking of TTK, while it's definitely pretty good for a sniper (although nothing huge imo), it's pretty hard to land all 4 shots in a row, and you'll be forced to aim more carefully and slowly, else you'll most likely leave the opponent alive behind a cover/inside a car. All in all I feel Oblivion fails to fill its niche because of it not being polarized enough. On a side note, Oblivion's crazy good at jumpshooting. Too bad its shots don't deal enough damage to make it significant

  12. So many people like same weapons I like, but they also think they're shit just like I do! Not sure if I should be happy or sad lol, let's just hope LO gives some underused weapons some love
  13. It would be nice if there was a way to keep track of each weapon's changes since years ago. I've only recently discovered that some weapons used to be insane (no windup on OSMAW???? lol) or trash.

This is basically what you're saying. And people blame the company if the game is dying. (Just to make things clear: I also ranked all the way to 16 and I'd still be super happy if the kill requirement got lowered) Imo currently progression has this big issue where it's kinda fast to reach around R100 (esp with premium) but it becomes way too slow afterwards. Weapon roles share the same issue, except you'll be forced to play weapons you don't like/suck with in order to unlock weapon mods that are mandatory for other categories as well. And on top of that, you'll be forced to use SHITTY version of those weapons (either not/1 slotted or the usually terrible preset lease weapons the contacts sell). Final thing I'm gonna say is there's no reason to make Car Surf Valzipram Tablets and the likes of only usable after R195. It's super unrealistic for a newbie to reach that rank and those mods can be extremely game changing in some scenarios.
  16. I'm sure all of us like a weapon that unfortunately happens to be bad or even terrible. What is yours? Why do you like it? Why is it so bad? Which buffs would make it playable in your eyes? Let's have a discussion:) Personally it's S-247 "Oblivion", its stats are way too mediocre but I love the sound and the looks, so I try to use it a lot anyways (with terrible results usually lol) I'd like to see some small buffs across all stats (better equip time and car damage in particular), and its weird accuracy gimmick either removed or reworked

  18. Fireball on my Enforcer since it's a themed character and than skin blends perfectly. My crim isn't really themed at all so I just go for glowing skins as I have a soft spot for them.
  19. I think many people underestimate how much CJ3 worsens DMR's RoF, compared to CJ2. CJ2 sits at the perfect spot where you can fire at full rate without ever having to wait, while CJ3 forces you to either wait for the crosshair to close or take an RNG guess after 70 metres of distance. While this barely affects your aim while shooting at cars, it's a huge issue for precision shots (like below a car or a half hidden target), and what would be a guaranteed, unreactable 2shot kill turns into a super frustrating 60 tag into "he's tagged and running in X direction" sentence on the mic. When I said DMR SD has better TTK I was referring to its ability to hold CJ2, something PR variants lack. Should have worded myself more correctly, apologies.
  20. From my experience, most people use CJ3 over 3PS3 because of higher versatily. You can still qs very effectively even without it, esp with any sort of cover, and bringing down Scout's TTK can be huge in situations where your secondary is basically useless. Imma just briefly explain why I think that way of the 3 DMR variants. -DMR AV PR1 is basically a jack of all trades. Good at taking down cars and car spawners, you can camp/spawn camp pretty effectively with it, acceptable TTK when in 2shot range (.8 seconds). Not great at anything, but can do all of the above with good results. -DMR SD has far better TTK and other "minor stats" depending on your mods, but to me what sets apart DMR from other snipers is its hard damage, something DMR SD somewhat lacks. It's still a great weapon (and actually my mainly used sniper), but I'm oftentimes forced to switch to AV due to circumstances requiring it. Still by far the superior one to use in Baylan Shipping, and I wouldn't mind pushing it in the upper tier that much all things considered. -DMR AV PR2 focuses on taking down cars as fast as possible, but it's only slightly more effective than PR1 at doing so (there's a ton of issues regarding car health, as the most popular cars atm don't blow up to a DMR AV full mag), but this greatly hampers DMR accuracy against human targets over distance, something this rifle is basically intended for. Again, it could easily go up by one tier, but I still feel like it's the worst of the 3 because it doesn't even do its job too well. Again, this is personal opinion and if you don't agree with me that's fine, I made this tier list for understanding different points of view and opinions so it's all good to me:) While I also think HVR's soft damage is super cringe worthy and extremely oppressive, I think its many flaws are notable enough to bring it down to A tier. Requiring way more team support than Sitting Duck and DMR AV is what made me decide to move it below them. I'm also glad the Silencer thing was discussed as I was typing, I really wish they worked in this game but currently they're just wasted mods altoghether
  21. Sorry, you're right! It actually worsens minimum accuracy (aka how big the crosshair gets after you shoot with most sniper rifles), which is a very similar thing all things considered! Try CJ3 and CJ2 on a DMR, you'll notice the difference I'm talking about!
