The HOHOPGL and Snowballs aren't available in the main districts this year.

That is all kinds of weird. Snowballs were always quite fun to use in missions when this time of year rolled around.

I wonder if they got removed cuz they got stat changes for the event.

Higher hard damage and the launcher is now full auto.

That's not really a reason to remove it from other districts, seeing as you're still at a massive handicap if you use one.

Car gameplay works surprisingly well in the snowball districts, didn't think that it's super strong against vehicles.

After all the snowballs are still impact grenades with a very very small blast radius, travel time, drop and windup.

 

Don't think it'd make mission districts unbalanced.

At least on Jericho, players dont seem to be aware of the hard damage buff, so I havent seen many people using them against vehicles.

Dunno about EU though.

 

Also, its just a guess as its the only thing that's different from last year. (the weapon stats)

 

Oh and the ammo amount is vastly increased for both.

Why are they called auto tho? They have this windup timer same as the previous years..and only the ammo count is diff and a less time between shots?

if you click and hold, after the windup (which is longer than in previous xmas event, likely to provide a counterbalance) you can continuously fire snowballs until your magazine runs dry

 

its a bit like the volcano, except with 6 snowballs instead of rockets

Wow..thats why others were able to use it comparatively easier. I thought it was somethn like the shotgun bug.

well that doesn't make sense. why would they provide them if they aren't available?

 

if you go tot he event districts you get them automatically anyway so what was the point in sending them.. i don't get it

They arent the same as previous years.

Hard damage has been severely buffed as well as ammo count, and the Opgl is full auto this year.
