10/30 PATCH ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello everyone,

Our standard weekly maintenance will be held this Wednesday (10/30) starting at 9 AM UTC. The game should be back up and running in 8 to 10 hours.

Patchnotes

 

This weeks patch focuses on small improvements to Epidemic as well as more weapon balance including major changes to the SBSR series of weapons.

 

Epidemic

  • The time to capture the last zone has been increased from 90 seconds to 120 seconds.
  • Moved the City Hall spawn point so players are now spawning on the sidewalk to the West of City Hall rather than on the roof tops.
  • The Barrel Stack located close to the Hospital should no longer be floating.

 

Weapon Balance

 

R2 'Harbinger'

  • Health Damage per shot increased from 280 to 300.

 

Shaw 556

  • Now loses 57% less accuracy when moving while in Marksmanship mode.

 

ALIG 762

  • Now loses 67% less accuracy when moving while in Marksmanship mode.

 

SBSR 'Coroner'

  • Now fires roughly 30% faster.
  • Bloom per shot reduced by 32%.
  • Hard Damage per shot lowered by 42%.
  • Run Modifier reduced by 50%.
  • Jump Modifier reduced by 25%.
  • Accuracy Cooldown removed.
  • Weapon Switch Inaccuracy removed.
  • Reload time reduced from 3.2s to 2.6s.
  • Walk Speed increased from 90cm/s to 139cm/s.
  • Marksmanship Speed increased from 90cm/s to 139cm/s.
  • Run Speed increased from 350cm/s to 412.5cm/s.
  • Sprint Speed increased from 475cm/s to 600cm/s.
  • Ammo per Resupply cycle increased from 7 to 8.
  • Reserve ammo increased from 32 to 48.
  • Recoil intensity no longer increases with every shot.
  • Changed Recoil to that of the Oblivion.

 

Dev Note: These changes will feel a lot like a Mini-Rework to the Weapon and should make it feel much more distinct compared to the SBSR 'IRS'. Additionally its Time-to-kill has been adjusted to be more in line with the other rifles in the game. Testing has shown that the weapon is very powerful now so we'll be keeping a close eye on the Coroner and how it performs on Live and will make changes if necessary.

 

 

SBSR 'IRS'

  • Health Damage per shot increased from 350 to 400.
  • Reduced the Hard Damage per shot by 12%.
  • Walk Speed increased from 90cm/s to 139cm/s.
  • Marksmanship Speed increased from 90cm/s to 139cm/s.
  • Ammo per Resupply cycle increased from 7 to 8.
  • Weapon Switch Inaccuracy removed.
  • Recoil intensity no longer increases with every shot.
  • Changed Recoil to that of the DMR-SD.

 

Dev Note: These changes to the SBSR 'IRS' should make it feel a lot less clunky as well as making it hit much harder with each shot, allowing it to extend its 3-shot range up to 99 meters without requiring mods such as Improved Rifling. Additionally, we did not want to buff its Hard Damage as part of the Health Damage buff, because of this we have reduced the Hard Damage per shot by 12% which means that its hard damage is basically the same as it was before at 116 (was 115.5).

 

Colby M-1922

  • Reworked the base recoil of the weapon.
  • Recoil intensity no longer increases with every shot.

 

Dev Note: The Colby M-1922 has suffered from having an unnecessary amount of Vertical recoil for quite some time, this patch ships completely new recoil values for the weapon which will make it significantly more controllable.

 

Agrotech ACES SMG

  • Magazine Capacity increased from 35 to 40.
  • Maximum Bloom reduced by 7%.

 

Agrotech ACES Rifle

  • Now gains an additional 10% accuracy from Marksmanship mode.
  • Reduced Horizontal Recoil while in Marksmanship mode by 30%.

  • WalkModifier reduced from 6.5 to 2.8.

 

ALIG 762

  • WalkModifier reduced from 7 to 2.3.

 

SBSR Rifle

  • Fire Interval lowered from 0.725 to 0.505

  • RunModifier reduced from 6 to 3.
  • JumpModifier reduced from 48 to 36.
  • PerShotModifier reduced from 0.725 to 0.495.
  • AccuracyCooldown reduced from 25 to 0.
  • WeaponSwitchMinAccuracy reduced from 1.5 to 0.
  • Reload time reduced from 3.2 to 2.6.
  • WalkSpeed increased from 90 to 139.
  • MarksmanShipSpeed increased from 90 to 139.
  • RunSpeed increased from 350 to 412.5.
  • Sprintspeed increased from 475 to 600.
  • ResupplyUnits increased from 7 to 8.
  • AmmoPoolCapacity increased from 32 to 48.
  • HardDamageModifier decreased from 0.33 to 0.19.

 

SBSR Sniper

  • HealthDamage increased from 350 to 400.
  • HardDamageModifier decreased from 0.33 to 0.29. (Same dmg result)
  • WalkSpeed increased from 90 to 139.
  • MarksmanshipSpeed increased from 90 to 139.
  • ResupplyUnits increased from 7 to 8.
  • WeaponSwitchMinAccuracy decreased from 3 to 0.

 

ACES SMG

  • MagazineCapacity increased from 35 to 40
  • OverallShotModifierCap reduced from 2.15 to 2

ACES Rifle

  • MarksmanshipModifier reduced from 0.67 to 0.6

All weapons behave the same. No uniqueness incoming. Would be nice if you did more to this halloween event given its dead status and the unneccesairy requirement for 6 ppl to start (which is alot)

The 'IRS' was in a good spot balance wise. This chance is going to make it a little too good. The whole point of it dealing only 350 damage was so the player had to choose a mod to suit how they use the weapon, and to make it risky to miss a shot since a player with CA3 will out heal it. CJ3's bloom downside isn't as much of an issue since waiting that extra few milliseconds no longer means the player will heal enough to become a 4 shot kill. There's not much point to IR3 now. HB3 is going to deal 360 damage, which is more than 350. There's also something really satisfying about the loud BANG with the high recoil. Making it like the DMR is going to make it feel boring.

 

The ACES SMG didn't need more ammo in the magazine. Now EM3 will have 52 rounds, or 3 potential kills. Seems overpowered.

 

I use both weapons regularly, that's why I think these changes will make them overpowered. I rarely see other players using them. Eh, I'll abuse them till they get nerfed, or some other weapon gets overbuffed again.

The tommy gun and agrotech aces weapons are exciting(not big fan of the coroner anyway)
Really wanna see some nfas changes(less spread)and Frosi said dat he will have it in mind so is nice..
Btw about the obir-Kemp comment on hes stream some weeks ago dat theres no point of the range decrease but the weapon dmg must be decreased per burst.Maybe not bad idea to look in dat

Dang. Compiled TONS of weapon changes over these patched from september and later.

Gonna try them all out and see what magic I can work with.

 

Especially hyped for the Heavy Barrel modification adjustment as this opens a door for many, many weapons imo.

oca-sd and others with silencers or that are red mod blocked.

Trying would be mass bans and not fibbing about eac. 

Games gone, its been dead n hax are making sure it stays dead. 

They refuse to play fin only play wf so they can dial in their bots. 

All these masses of hackers running around flocking to this game simply 

to hack it out. Just to stop a couple of legits. 

Funny how they flock up n all try to be in missions to stop me. 

Thinking they are screwing me somehow, when I'm there simply to 

ruin their hackings. 

 They'll wake up n think, gee that legit mack might still play so they round up as 

many hax they can find n sit in wf and lag bot fin so everyone has to go to wf.

bring in 30 hackers n sit n wait for Mack or any legit to come in. 

So you consider the amount of money spent on hax to stop one legit in a game they already killed. 

Game is ran by criminals the government has failed to arrest.

Yea sorry but there not trying. The major game flaws and problems arent even being looked at and the mods dont even bother to try to do anything.
