if you're doing it with the bank trucks in waterfront, just get a cheap (or free) to spawn car and use 2 separate drops, make sure you are at notoriety 4 (or 5 if you want to live dangerously) when you do this for maximum money. 

(I might have done this in class a couple times)

remember when some not so Op cars existed and weren't as viable (because car spawner didn't existed) and such? well those have been days where you could take many NPC cars as well, and if you had one at the end of a mission you just K'd up and delivered it betwene the missions. So over the years it wasn't that hard to accumulate it. But nowdays who is using NPC cars regulary? The meta is too harsh to not use an own one.

driving to a different one might indeed be faster, but the one in financial is easy to just do as you're watching a show or something

I found it easier on Waterfront, but not as fast as Financial. Ended up finishing it on Financial.

 

The Gresty Street Chop Shop and the one half way between there and Shift are the closest together. Going under the freeway between the two makes it even faster.

 

The reason I mentioned Waterfront is the generally lower population made it easier to deliver them in pristine condition for the cash bonus.

 

But by now you must be starting to realize why the completion rate for Car Thief is less than 1% of players.

wonder how many people farmed this with a second macroed account. I know a buddy made soem other buddies help "farming" on this achievment inbetween missiosn when we at there shooting, one bullet, reloading and repeat xD

I will be honest, i'm not against farming of this role - taking how much it took me to just get to higher levels. People just don't resupply at you, they often go to ammo dispensers around map.

 

Vast majority of points to it I got was via car trunk (thank God for that mod). Imagine doing that with ammo boxes and resupplier alone...

 

And the lone fact that you need to focus on totally non-essential part of gameplay just to fulfill it would be ultra frustrating.

the importance of the ammo resupplier heavily decreased.

 

Car spawner is now more important. we have another deployable ammo box now. (does that one even count towards the achievement?). and since car spanws can also resupply we indeed have a heavily reduced need for mobile supplies.

Which lead to absurd situation that player might complete ALL weapon roles before they complete munitions specialist. I find it utterly absurd.

they could adjus role values, maybe soem would qq about it, but the gaming mechanics changed too uch to keep them where they were.

Haha i did this achiev many years ago. Still using title on one of outfits.

 

Just steal/hijack cars and deliver them. No rush, you already too late.

Its sad,cuz i completed all the 59achievement by simply playing the game

then this car thief comes and you must farm it,1k cars its too much

Probably best to do it in small batches of cars at a time... Since it does get boring pretty quick. As well you can make some quick pocket change when doing so... Heres my route I take between two chop shops to do it pretty quick.
