I've seen exactly 1 cheater since last Friday and it was some low rank silver trying to hack with an HVR. He went like 3-14 in Baylan. It was terrifying.

I like the old music much better but I like the character scenes with all the contacts.

I would love to see (optional) 2 factor authentication. They could even add some little bonus like some games do to encourage using it.

Some arcane mechanics in a game is a good thing, like trick jumps in a map or dodge jumping in Unreal or circle and strafe jumping in Quake. It's just something else to learn and get better at besides just pointing and clicking. Fortunately, the ones in APB are mostly easy to figure out conceptually just by seeing them in action once or twice and then it's just a matter of practice.

Nothing would change regarding that, if you're gold you already can't join their district but they can join yours.

I'm guessing you didn't play chaos district when it was around.

When they had anarchy districts before it was just clumps of people on roofs with HVRs and OSMAWs. I think G1 finally made one just to prove the point that they would be terrible.

The open conflict thing is a good idea as well, hiding threat would probably increase the general niceness level of the entire game.

Golds already aren't allowed, you can't load into a bronze server with gold threat. The golds that are in them dethreat to silver then join. Even with people coming back I don't think the game has the population to support total threat lock. There were more people playing last time they tried it and if you were gold action district was unplayable outside prime time.

The point is that it will inconvenience people who dethreat to stomp bronzies and let's be real, those people deserve to be inconvenienced. It would probably help with player retention and it would make it easier for LO to ID people who intentionally dethreat to do it, then they could enforce that part of the ToS.

I made this thread on the old forums (RIP) but I figure it's time for it again with the new management. If you are gold you already cannot load into a bronze district so I propose if you turn gold while in that district that the ready button stops working. I think this would be an excellent way to discourage dethreating and shouldn't even be a hard charge to make. Love, Wafflez

Asylum was always 20v20, Baylan at 20v20 feels like an old UT server with 32 Man DM on a duel map, it's just chaos. Also bring back Beacon.
