    I mean, it's not like we had feedback regarding the stuff, and they barely changed it.

    Not to mention that this took place in.. a week? Definitely not enough to properly test these changes, especially if you change them during said week.

    You do realize that the IR changes made the N-TEC even better on range, and more forgiving when fired fully automatic?
    They didn't patch the meta guns, they buffed them.

    Yeet, instead of rebalancing powerful things like IR or the N-TEC, they actually go and buff them instead.
    What the hell is the use of marksman rifles now? The N-TEC just received a huge buff and now dominates everything except max range.

    Firerate reduction is a welcome change, but why the hell would you go ahead and increase the range even further?

    You're only "cool" if you have the new legendary the week it dropped, so a lot of people actually pay up to 10 mil for the new legendary.
    You kinda hit the jackpot if you buy a couple JMBs and get the legendary which you can then sell for a high price.. though buying JMBs isn't really smart in the first place.

    If you've played APB for a couple years, 10m shouldn't be a problem. You can also wait a couple months until the price drops down, the gun isn't that strong to be in the higher tiers for ages like the yukon.

    I'm crying over something being "broken" because I can't use it myself? How is that?
    Current IR doesn't change anything gameplay wise other than giving you range, and the new one makes everything easier, especially the already borderline-overpowered N-TEC.

    It's a test server after all, so people should be given all the things they need in order to test stuff.

    Unsure how that's a bad thing? Yes, the TTK is upped, but so is it for the other guns that want to sacrifice ROF for range.

    Fire rate reduction isn't a bad thing, but the increased range is. 7m at IR3 is fine as is.

    And well, I agree with the general sentiment that the previous downside was literally nonexistent, *nobody* fired IR weapons full auto.

    The way IR works right now in the test servers is pretty much a buff to the N-TEC, and a nerf to almost all the other weapons.
    If anything, the N-TEC needs a nerf, not a buff.

    That is true, considering N-TECs aren't shot at max fire rate, the IR nerf might just make it easier while buffing the range even further.

    Imo a firerate nerf with the current ranges would be fine, no need for a range buff.

    It gives every weapon higher range (if you can still hit things at that range), so it's an advantage.

    It worked 8 years because GamersFirst didn't give a single f*ck about game health, balance and optimization.

    Even without the range increase, the N-TEC already makes the marksman rifles obsolete.

    Yeah, it's a tough one deciding wether the HH or the BM is the best.
    I settled for the HH though, bigger mag, best accuracy out of the 3, and highest effective range.
    That reload time though...
