    Yeah, somewhere between now and RTWs massive overuse of bloom and saturation was pretty nice.
    It wouldn't hurt to add a little more color to the game, but the console editions are waayyyy too colorful for APB imo.

    Right? I really miss the times when your group was like "I feel like playing some shitty random gun today" while driving around in his vaquero, and the enemy did the same thing most of the time.
    Today, all the variety you have is N-TEC, HVR, CSG, JG together with a Pioneer, Espacio or a 4x4.

  3. It's been nerfed and now feels like throwing wet noodles at your enemy past 10 meters.

    IR makes somewhat up for it, but then you might as well just use the regular N-FAS without a cooldown timer.
    CJ makes it inaccurate as hell, even under 10 meters, so I wouldn't use it.

    There isn't really any mod that benefits the ogre, not even before the nerf.
    IR didn't help the ogre at all before the latest patch, I don't know why so many people used it.

    Okay, what do you think they should do? What is your current problem with the shotguns?

    Simple enough: 
    They nerfed all the weak shotguns, and buffed the two best shotguns.

    That's all there is to say, no need to discuss anything. The shotgun change is idiotic.

    Did you honestly use IR3 on the ogre pre-nerf?
    It was literally useless on it before, now it's pretty much mandatory with the lousy 10m range. And then it's slow as hell, so you might as well just use the regular N-FAS instead.

    How are you happy? It makes the N-TEC even better, and almost all the other guns worse.
    And then there's the CSG and JG which have been buffed back to their OP state we had years ago.

    Not fun.

  7. Well, it's a start and they definitely tried, but they rushed it too fast and pushed it out while it's far from polished.
    Imho they made the game worse with this patch.

    N-TEC is better than ever, shotguns are back to their op 2012 times, almost every other weapon has been extremely nerfed if you use IR3.
    Though the misery, oblivion and cobra changes are pretty good. Super weird.

    Yeah I am aware of that, is that actually what they refer to as "first pellets"?
    It isn't even noticeable that the pellets are fired like a minigun, unless you shoot a car.

    A long time ago, there was a big Shotgun controversy around how they rewarded half shots TOO MUCH.  These changes pretty much undid all of that.  I don't think Shotguns needed any changing beyond fixing their general reg issues. Most really good players could still reliably 2 shot people despite server jankiness.  Making Shotguns easier to use probably wasn't the best idea.

    What even is this "the first pellets to hit do more damage" change?
    Don't all the pellets arrive at almost the same time? How does one even notice which pellet comes first, and how much damage it did?
    Did they elaborate on that? I'm genuinely confused about that.

    It's also funny how they nerfed the N-FAS to a 10m drop-off range, even the SG-21 'Strife', but buff the JG and CSG to extreme ranges.

  11. Seems like the JG and CSG are back to their broken state before their nerf years ago, and the True Ogre feels weaker now.
    N-TEC became better and a lot easier to play.
    Marksman Rifles have little to no point anymore and suffer a lot from the IR buffnerf.

    Not sure if LO understood how balance works.
    This stuff should be tested for longer than a week, and feedback should be recognized.
