  1. Yeah, pretty sure something was said about that during the stream. Didn't notice they already had a channel up though, I wonder what their format is like?
  2. I think that those who may of gotten their accounts banned for cheating may of just moved on by now or if they're still within the community, they probably have no reverence for any account they make so they could of simply just forgotten the information to the account or like you said just end up losing it again.
  3. Well I'd hope that Little Orbit has a bit still stashed away in a piggy bank they can break open to at least afford the lavish attempt to upgrade the game to Unreal Engine 4. Matt took a risk with this game so I hope he doesn't give up on us simply because the game doesn't automatically start printing millions of dollars, APB has the potential to do that but it's going to require some time and more money to make that happen. It's sort of sad because it seemed as though even Matt was surprised by how many people turned up to Kemp's stream for the QnA and he admitted himself that one of his other fears was that he'd make all these announcements and no one would care.
  4. Yes, I obviously wanted every legendary in the game and what the hell am I gonna do with all those Gumshoe days, I'll be dead by the time those things expire.
  5. I get stutter but I don't know what people are talking about when they say they get no stutter with the advanced launcher. It has been awhile since I've used the APB advanced launcher but what settings are people configuring to get no stutter in APB..? Also what is this "mouse fix" I keep hearing about?
  6. Hopefully soon, I really want to buy the norseman pack account wide.
  7. I think this thread is 3 pages of misinterpreting what Matt was trying to convey. He was talking about using in-game items to trade for real world money for which there is no third party website or alternative in game that allows a transaction like that to happen. Games like CS:GO and H1Z1, PUBG etc have those systems where you can sell your in-game items that you've earned to someone for real world cash. Matt wants to prevent that from happening, which is currently the way it is right now, which means it's fine the way it is. On a sort of related note, I don't think I've ever gotten a legendary out of anything that wasn't a Joker Power box lately. Standard Joker mystery boxes don't seem to give me anything.
  8. This is why lower latency memory with 3D Xpoint SSD's are much more preferable. The time that random reads and writes on those drives are accessed way faster than even a conventional SSD. Intel Optane the 900P ones are out but they're extremely expensive.
  9. Based on what Matt was saying, adding new content is a bit off. Streamlining, functionality and critical mechanics as Matt puts it seem to be the first line of business and then content once the new engine has rolled out, maybe Matt will clarify next week but that's what it sounds like.
  10. Read one of the replies I made because it applies to what you've said. I'm sure Matt isn't entirely familiar with every system in the game but I'm sure he wasn't talking about the marketplace. He was talking about using illegitimate websites used for trading for real money. He was also exclaiming that once he had worked on systems in the past and removed systems in the games that prevented trading in-game items for real cash they saw a marked decline in the amount of scamming and illegitimate trading going on. Also he did say they were thinking of giving a reduction of price to Joker Boxes which may come along with the Armas marketplace price balance as a whole.
  11. I greatly appreciated the way the QnA was handled although maybe because it pertains to me I wished I would've gotten a better answer on that HAN server question. Yes I do think people who want to transfer from Han to Jericho will appreciate that Little Orbit are working to allow that transfer to happen. But at the same time, there is an overarching issue with HAN that keeps people there as opposed to the alternatives and that's lower latency.
  12. That's not what he was saying. He was pretty much remarking how with other games like for instance CS:GO, H1Z1 or any other game with an ingame loot box system there are third party websites which are used to complete transactions with real money on weapon skins or in-game items. The marketplace however is fine because it's using the monetary value we collect in game to purchase those weapons off people, we're not using real life currency to complete that transaction.
