I see ppl hitting just fine, they do as is and a range increase is not needed. Range decrease and accuracy decrease is whats needed along with the damage nerf.

It still essentially matches an FFA / OBIR. It is a SECONDARY, it shouldn't be as good or better then a primary.

Right, so basically a secondary has the stats of a primary. Make the RFP a primary then if your going to have stats like that otherwise put up an actual nerf.

Just goes back to the point that the current matchmaking and threat need to be redone. Keeping the current system in any form will just lead to more problems.

1. Remove threat: It was called open conflict. It was DOA as none of the max rank try hards want to risk getting stuck with a potential low threat player. If threat is removed entirely it will only further the imbalanced matchmaking that we already have and will drive more ppl away as the ppl who arent as good wont have any fun, not to mention all the try hards will team together more to keep low ranks off their team. 2. Threat segregated districts: Back in the day G1 implemented segregated districts and its what caused the dethreating problem. Repeating this will only cause more dethreating and will only lead to more problems as this community outright refuses to even try to play nice. 3. More threat tiers: In the current system this would only lead to further dethreating due to extremely low population and nonbody wanting to play against similarly skilled opponents. If threat and matchmaking is redone then yea this could potentially be a thing but unless thats done this is a non option.

Adding a new threat wont solve the flawed threat system. Ppl will just dethreat even harder and your threat will still be heavily inaccurate when its the easiest thing in the world to get the top threat. Threat needs a complete overhaul to where its harder to dethreat, it more accurately shows your skill range and its actually a challenge to get the top threats.

I will say this, back in the day it was not 1/200 there were plenty of ppl including myself who went beyond 250 before getting a weapon. Having better rates is better but how about better rewards overall in the JMB? Premium time and Riot time would def be much more valuable then repeat timed weapons especially when you already own that weapon perm. Timed versions of the legendary gun would also be worthwhile till it was won perm.

Contacting the login and world servers takes forever, idk what you did @MattScottbut you messed up the servers. They were actually working quite well till you took them down. Edit: Inf loading screen. Matt you broke the game.

APB still lives on today. It has a loyal fanbase and could have gone places but G1 didnt give 2 shits and milked it instead. Thats a big difference then too much of a burden. Cause not updating your anti cheat frequently and not actively patrolling your servers with GMs will really make an anti cherat effective. There are layers put in place to catch hackers and G1 never put the time into doing that, while LO hasnt done so either to date.

If G1 gave the slightest shit yes it could have easily been fixed.

They money grabbed a game for yrs instead of updating it, fixing it and doing what should have been done to make it popular with a healthy playerbase.

Neither do I but I think we can both agree that ppl who continue to hack arent welcome.

APB could easily be mainstream if only things were fixed and hackers didn't control the game. G1 sure did a good job didnt they :^)

Never said it was, but that zoom at closer ranges does make it less viable. We both know how qs is viewed in APB so im keeping it under more skill oriented tactics.

Im not sure how this thread is still going when nobody plays RIOT since Matt killed it off from the getgo.

SMGs have their place but when it comes to 10m or less a shottie should def be the gun with the advantage. As it stands they cant beat an SMG within that range and makes them pretty useless.

That excells vs its counterpart thanks to the fact it doesnt have a zoom when aiming which make it more viable as closer ranges whereas the Obir cant be used as close.

I agree less range would solve it. With the shottie rework coming soon its fine as is in regards to everything else.

While closing their twitch is great it doesnt get rid of them in game so they cant ruin our matches. LO needs to step up.

It doesnt suck but in its current form it does need work. It would also be better if the APB issues like hitreg were fixed as well
