Ill have to look into that next time theres a major one. I never really looked into it on the windows side.

Ive had updates but its never triggered the system before for me. I had an update just the other day, not tradelock currently.

So again, never traded, never sold anything, same exact PC with no changes to it. Why did I get a tradelock?

Not sure where you are then cause im only on the main dist once a month if that and everytime I see a dethreater. Dethreating nowadays isnt just feeding the other team its also just not taking part in the mission. Ive seen some dethreaters not play missions and stay 600+ m away from an obj. No demerit means they cant be removed. There are those who dont play cause they give up yes but theres also what I just described. Didnt know I could change my threat in fight club. Must be something new they added today or something. Engine upgrade is the goods and reputation, community etc etc is the horse. The upgrade is no magic cure all and all these problems will still exist after its released so new players will still encounter the issues plaguing the game now. How will that retain players exactly? Edit: disappearing for surgery have a nice day.

Its a bug thats been around since 2014 and G1 never really cared to fix it. It would be nice to have all of them show up from then till now but I dont think LO is going to put resources into figuring it out. It works in game but not on steam so its something to do with steam achievements which requires both sides to figure out. Again I dont see LO looking into this given all resources are into the engine upgrade so maybe 2020 they will look into it.

There are those legit players who go gold in the bronze dist nobody is arguing on them, its the ones who throw matches just to drop rank so they can tryhard against lesser skilled players thats the issue (OPGL, OSMAW etc etc). This has been a problem ever since threat segregation was mandated and golds were forced into gold only districts back in the day. This is where dethreating started and continues to be a major problem to this day. Threat segregation was such a failure that G1 had to do away with it to curb the dethreating (which it really didnt). It was done away but there was 0 enforcement so ppl have continued to do it to this day, LO actually put it in their rules not to do it and made it banable with 0 results. Neither G1 or LO have stepped up to enforce this and neither have made examples of anyone doing it so ppl get the message to stop. Untill its enforced it will continue.

I had a tradelock the day after I listed something on the market. Didnt trade, didnt sell anything, APB just decided to lock me out. Theres more to it and im sure theres a bug in there somewhere otherwise why would someone whose never traded before get locked from it?

I play in the mud server, otherwise known as FC. Its extremely rare I play in the main dist at all cause theres no point to it when your capped and own everything. Ive spoken to afew ppl who said they have heard of the game but havent tried it. "isnt that game broken and run by cheaters"? That player count may be lately but do remember at one point we were closer to 3000. As long as theres one person who hasnt played who has said that (and theres afew who have) then damage done.

And how will that solve word of mouth that the APB community is trash? The gloves need to come off now so that way when all this new stuff comes out its more enticing for new players to play.

The issue is that most golds you see in bronze dethreated to get there and they continuously do it despite it being against the TOS and suspendable. Also is that the GM staff doesnt do anything to prevent this and still turns a blind eye to it. LO needs to actually start making examples if they want this to stop thats the only way.

Oh yay more pumpkin hunting. I hope it isnt bugged like it was afew yrs ago where a district reset on me. Tbh pumpkin hunting is the least favorite of the halloween events as its just a drag and a pain. And one more thing, will these achievements show in steam like ones from yrs past?

Thats exactly my point. They werent helpful in the least bit but at least they didnt make you wait 30+ days for a response, even if it was copy paste. A trained properly staffed support desk should be able to handle such a small population yet LO cant do that.
