cheers must have misread on the quiver thing when the notification popped up since that seems to be a day 4 thing think it's a little late for them to fix it unless they're working weekends again (which after pulling long shifts to get the battle eye thing out they're likely taking a well deserved break) guess they could fix it retroactively and remove the titles from people who earned they outside of valentine's day but me thinks they have more important things to work on at the moment

reminds me of Xcom though properly isn't 8/10 for clean and simplicity
-

Much pink, very quote / wow

oh and also this isn't so much as a quirk as something I'd love to see tested the game does not appear to have a fully functional relative velocity system (throwing things while moving adds to their speed) so in theory if you were to stand on top of a 'Dolton Montane' (2 door pick-up) going full speed and throw a 'Low-Yield Fragmentation Grenade' forward it should hang in the air where you released it from your perspective

Been around on and off since the early days of G1 CBT but there's still a few things that I've missed over there years so here's a couple of silly things you may have missed in APB Female Ambulance drivers have the Realtime Worlds logo on their uniform Equipment actually change as you get improved versions This character is fully loaded Cars have indicators (Q&E while driving) ok so you properly knew that... BUT did you also know that if you smash up the front (and possibly also back) of the car to the point where the indicator isn't working the rear (or front) will stop blinking and stay lit? this one might be a bug but I though it was worth mentioning since with most real cars if one indicator breaks or blows the bulb the others on that side will start to blink faster (no image) 'Tis all I have for now but do feel free to add any silly quirks you come across in game

speaking of cake The Most Amazing Chocolate Cake butter and flour for coating and dusting the cake pan 3 cups all-purpose flour 3 cups granulated sugar 1½ cups unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tablespoon baking soda 1½ teaspoons baking powder 1½ teaspoons salt 4 large eggs 1½ cups buttermilk 1½ cups warm water ½ cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting 1½ cups butter, softened 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1½ cups unsweetened cocoa powder 3 teaspoons vanilla extract 7-8 cups powdered sugar about ¼ cup milk (as needed) Instructions The Most Amazing Chocolate Cake Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter three 9-inch cake rounds. Dust with flour and tap out the excess. Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a stand mixer using a low speed until combined. Add eggs, buttermilk, warm water, oil, and vanilla. Beat on a medium speed until smooth. This should take just a couple of minutes. Divide batter among the three pans. I found that it took just over 3 cups of the batter to divide it evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on wire racks for 15 minutes and then turn out the cakes onto the racks and allow to cool completely. Frost with your favorite frosting and enjoy! Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for best results Add in cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Beat until combined. Beat in powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add milk as necessary to make a spreadable consistency. The frosting should be very thick and will thicken even more if refrigerated. Notes METRIC MEASUREMENTS: butter and flour for coating and dusting the cake pan 450 grams all-purpose flour 650 grams granulated sugar 155 grams unsweetened cocoa powder 17 grams baking soda 8 grams baking powder 11 grams salt 4 large eggs 350 ml buttermilk 350 ml warm water 115 ml vegetable oil 10 ml vanilla extract Bake at 176 degrees celsius in three 23 centimeter pans

Fire hydrants first of all why are there fire hydrants in a city that doesn't appear to have a fire department? secondly there's one particular hydrant in financial by the gas station opposite Ty Durrent or what ever his name is that one is somehow capable of absorbing all kinetic energy and bounce your car back 20 meters before breaking and I end up hitting it 9 times out of 10 when trying to pull into the gas station from that side

without even offering to buy me dinner first? forget it

I usually just replay with some nonsense about buying potatoes or what ever random crap I can come up with at the time but still an auto reply would save some time
-
only to a point since ignore list still has limited space it's worse in whispers though when they just assume everyone else speaks russian wouldn't mind an auto reply with something to the effect of 'the person you have reach does not speak Russian, please leave a message in English after the beep'

I'm bad with names but cheers to all the crazy people who'll start/join random conversations in district chat about anything and everything - nothing major or personal or even related to the game, just random banter always a fun read/chat when your just zipping around waiting for a mission

there needs to be a reset though yes there would be stomping but only till everyone has had their threat assessed Matt mentioned someone in the Q&A about a new threat system needing to be slower in terms of threat changes and if that's the case and since it will take quite some time to come up with and implement a new system anyone who wants to grief/stomp will have ample time to dethreat to bronze/green in the current system and then be stuck there for more consistent stomping than if there's a wipe a few days of chaos before everything settles

Clarification on Nudity (updated policy)
Uocjat replied to MattScott's topic in General Discussion Archive
haven't tried myself but I'd imagine you can get reasonably close (something like suit jacket, chinos, police hat and combat boots) have seen a few people running around in that sort of get up where it was pretty obvious what they were going for -
Clarification on Nudity (updated policy)

Looks like a reasonable policy to me one question though, on the bigotry side of things - where is the line? obviously armbands with swastikas are out of the question, but what about something like an SS uniform but without any of the actual symbols? or would the uniform itself be considered an offensive symbol? (think most people who's ever seen any WWII related movie would be able to recognize one even if it's lacking all the bells and whistles) I'm just curious since people can be frightfully creative when it comes to trying to circumventing rules and regulations -
oh another question will the APB launcher ever stop installing DirectX? (I know you can edit a config file to make it stop but somehow mine turned it self on again recently)

will there be any quality of life interface changes like: sorting/searching themes/symbols/clothing/etc by name (currently when trying to list/mail something they seem to scattered at random in the list) stats for vehicles / weapons that actually gives you an idea of the stat rather than bars where you have to guesstimate which is better (maybe even a compare option that actually indicates the difference in stats)
