    threat system is fine as is, just show the individual 1-10s again so you have an idea of how skilled each player is theres no need to add a new threat, or remove threat. it worked fine before. green, bronze, silver, gold is dumb as fuck. bronze 1-10, silver 1-10, gold 1-10 was a very accurate representation of skill, and the entire reasoning behind removing things of its nature was simply to further casualize and remove competitive aspects of the game to appeal to the lowest common denominator so G1 could make more money. (i have thought about this for a long time and i just can't think of any reason why it was removed outside of that. same with ladders.) the best part about this 1. the symbols for it already exist, and look far better than our current threat symbols, and they are a more helpful representation of who you should be concerned about vs useless rating representations. 2. players know and recognize if you're g8 or higher, youre literally top of the top and they will be aware of this, instead of assuming you're a gold 1 newbie. you can have my newborn if this is returned to the game, i spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours working towards gold 10 at the time. was the most rewarding thing in the game to reach, and my friends really enjoyed the journey too. right now there isn't anything to work for once youre max, bring back some competition! plus, it was super sick when you got g10 and you entered a district.   2. are you dumb? the last statement is literally nothing but delusion, i've never had an issue using an OCA or a PMG vs a carbine or atac. I win some lose some sure, but, i've never felt "wow this gun is broken". Shredder is far better in every single sub 40m engagement than any of the above guns. Carbine is hot trash against players with a brain, what happened to this community? whatever, to me now it is clear that most of you don't have the slighest idea what you're talking about, at least your posts made it into meme material status across a few discords. i'm still making that video once I get some time off, never forget.
  3. @Unclean Video of stock shredder gameplay inc. Nothing beats it within 35m, you’re delusional. Gun is broken. Nothing about the gun lands anywhere close to balanced even without mods. Hopefully gameplay/narrated gameplay/side by sides can demonstrate my point. I dont have the slighest clue why people think itll be okay with barely any nerfs. you do not need mods for this gun to rip everyone and everything apart
  4. Almost nobody is using a crosshair made through shaders (or game files as you call it.) Please stop with bad information. Quick hint, a lot of streamers that have crosshairs are using an overlay, which is why you cant see them if they decide to stream just the active window and not their display. also not really sure why you want them in trouble, you gonna report them for swearing ingame once LO adds custom xhairs or something?
  5. When myself and jkohh use stock shredders and drop 20-30+ kills a mission. The mods help, but theyre nowhere near what makes them strong, its just the base gun. Its stupid broken. If youre a good player and youre using one, the other team needs to use one or they get molliwhopped. lets not forget on top of its insane damage, range, and low ttk, you can fire it out of car windows and it melts cars. Now when you have mods, theyre all pretty broken on a shredder because the gun is broken, but some stand out such as Mag Pull 3 giving it the fastest or second fastest reload in the game. Its a joke.
  6. Shredder needs a range nerf, firerate nerf, raw damage nerf, thumper needs double the fire-rate nerf the shredder receives. The problem with the other shotguns is the fact its a clean twoshot within 15 meters if even 1/8th of the pellets hit you, while you are extremely mobile. This further exaggerates the huge problem this game already has with cornercamping. You can fly out, barely graze someone, and 85 them. Or hit them for one damage, and meatshot + kill the next shot while not being exposed for more than .2 seconds. Oh yeah, they're also pretty much perfectly accurate while jumping, making many situations near impossible to get out of. It's just boring that everyone uses shotguns right now, and it's even more depressing that we have to pull out a shredder or a thumper to deal with a shredder or a thumper (a decent player, at least.) Really takes away from the fun of the game, and with how strong cars are right now with near-indestructible pioneers/espacios being 90% of cars with blowtorches too, you can't really play the distance game either.
  7. id go about this in a very different way. mods certainly shouldn't take certain aspects of the game out of play. theres also a reason why most of the better players in APB use flak jacket/tablets.

  10. I've sent in four tickets total. The first one took over 50 days to get a reply, at which point I finally got one, didn't even realize it because I forgot I even sent one in, it got closed. On Thursday, i sent three more in, two/three were answered and resolved within 12 hours.
  11. hey dorks. i've been playing this game since rtw i stream from time to time, but, be prepared for a jaded environment with a group of hardcore veterans who hate most of the things in the game with little to no filter. we try to be pretty funny people, so tune in. big dorks only. some clips from today: 8/26

Actually yes, that's the APB i've learned to love since 2012, and i've also learned to not be crying on the forums for having a losing streak, but hey, that's just me. some people are poor and don't have a good standard of living, theyve learned to live with it and thus should never bother changing their status quo. we got on just fine with candles, learned to live with them, we had no need for electricity.
  14. gold districts remain empty because there aren't enough players btw. (and due to hidden threat, the skill divide between golds is as vast as the grand canyon. I can only speak from personal experience, but, 98% of golds i come across may as well be silver.)
  15. You will not ever be banned for a sharpie dot, crosshair sticker, monitor crosshair overlay, mumble overlay, overwolf overlay, that other third party gaming social type overlay for certain. You will however risk a ban doing something like messing with shaders, like the old crosshair dot shader. (This is what Jason is referring to, there hasn't been anyone banned for the above programs.) Is it against the rules? Yes. Do they have any way to detect and or punish you for it? No. Will they punish you for it? Depending on what you use, likely not. Most of the overlays also will not show up if you are streaming depending on capture settings. Most of the good players use crosshair overlays for ease of visibility/target acquisition, and the APB xhair is slightly off-center. Anything else, can't help you there.

  17. Missions don't count towards your threat if you get too low of a score. Going AFK means -100 score. didn't know that, thank you. point still stands, may not be as drastic though. I have actually lost 18-20 in a row before to no impact to our threat levels while participating.
  18. used to be bronze/silver/gold 1-10. gold 10 was max, very hard to obtain and hold, and announced your entry upon joining district. you moved a lot within your respective level, and it was easy to drop threat. rn i can lose ~40-50 missions in a row and not lose gold. (jk0h tested it on stream, lmao. 46 losses afk on an alt, and didn't lose gold.) last video from when the game was decent, and it was after the competitive part of the game was already butchered.
  19. if you understand how the matchmaking system works you have no problem playing with friends in the same mission without being in a private group. if you igrate in the mission with the machines radar or ammo - the system simply has prestiti you for 400 meters away from the scene of the murder I understand how it works, but, your basically removing QOL for no reason. Making the game more frustrating to play. If i wanted to play with friends in your system, i have to add a bunch of extra steps and it's still a gamble. What the hell is prestiti?
  20. 2013 meta was most fun, most inherently rewarding, and had the most options. (real carbine, real obeya, great ntec, qsing, shotguns worked, oca was sicc, i suppose pmg was only thing that needed to be touched. but the important thing was that the TTK of everything was even enough that you could compete with anything.) bring that back, bring back ladders, and a threat system that encourages competitive play, instead of boring two-gun meta, nothing to compete for, and a threat system where 99% of your population gets gold once and never loses it.
  21. A lot of whiny people here, it's personally for the best that LO finds a vision and sticks to it. The community wants different things a lot of the time, and, listening to the community on everything -will- result in a bunch of poorly balanced, intersecting issues that has been done in so many games before. (not that the game in its current state isn't poorly balanced.) Shotguns do need to be looked at though. I wish I could have commented on it before the change went in, but, the only thing that G1 did to shotguns was completely nuke their hit-reg. Before that it was fine. They were a viable option before G1 started to whack them out of the game with unnecessary nerfs, because other guns like the OCA/PMG/Carbine could still compete with a shotgun. Right now though, if you have two teams of equal skill, and one pulls out a shotgun, the other team will pull out a shotgun. This is especially the case in the shredder, where you have a full-auto shotty that threeshots from 30m. Thumper is just as close to being as smart as the Shredder. I know personally, I don't enjoy playing with shotguns, and it is infuriating when i am forced to pull out a shotgun to compete with existing shotguns. Thanks to G1, the meta has shifted to avoiding losing fights as much as possible through the means of corner camping and "car gameplay", both of which excel when used with shotguns. If you are in a car, you control the distance as a proper pioneer takes two decades worth of armaments to destroy and can easily push/get away, and if you run down a hallway with a shredder on the other end, you're likely dead and won't have a fighting chance as the first shot is pretty much a guaranteed 85 within 20 meters.
  22. lol? theres pretty much no reason to oppose o/d/o/d. its not going to guarantee mission ties, if anything it would encourage getting to the last stage... its much better to share the inconvenience than have the INCREDIBLY COMMON situation where one side has the worst spawns, has the worst objectives, is on offense, and add anything else to the list. Theres also pretty much a reason the best players have like 90% or higher winrates on D, and its because its incredibly hard, and when you fail one objective, you at the very least get to defend 2-3 more, and in some missions, with less and less time for the attackers on each stage. not sure why everyone has to call someone silver when someone disagrees with them. i've been gold longer than most people here have played the game. its basically impossible to lose and not get gold in this game its been made so casual.

  24. by that logic if all the missions become 3 attack stages and 3 defense stages all that will happen is more ties Thats... the... point... ? Plus, you aren't going to tie a mission before you get to the final, and thats a different ballgame completely. If it gets more ties, it's more fair/balanced... If you're only winning because of defense, that's a game design problem. Its much more fair to go O/D/O/D/Final than D/D/D/D/F
  25. so you prefer just.. unbalanced all offense or all defense missions when something like defending is 10x easier to win than offense?
