Yeah, and AFAIK no one has ever been banned for this. And I can name at least half a dozen streamers who stream with crosshair overlays.

Whether or not BE bans for a thing is separate from whether or not the thing is bannable. But as has been mentioned, there are many ways crosshairs can be used that are not detectable. Perhaps once the team gets settled in now that they are back from E3, we can get some clarification on this subject.

iirc G1 said that the price for name change was set to deter people from changing names as G1 did not want to encourage the changing of names maybe if LO feels differently about name changes then the price will change too

Technically? No. But again, no way for LO to know. And if monitors are ok, why not 3rd party crosshairs? Sticky subject.

I feel bad for starting this thread. It was just one of those things, played a couple matches against sus opp and came here to sort of vent. I didnt mean to start a whole thing.

While true, there are already several "BE Byapass" cheats up for sale, with video proof of their use.

They do yes, but the argument has always been "does it give an advantage" (since some are non static, and do not have a center dot), since 3rd party tools that do not are allowed (like steam overaly for instance). I dont use them, and Im not a fan. But thats what the argument has always been. So it would be kind of nice to get a yes or no response to them.

Yeah nether G1 nor LO's CoC mentions third party crosshairs. Perhaps @Lixil could ask for us? But for now, use at your own risk.

Citadel always bashng on the Russians and Jericho on the BR's. Meanwhile Jericho and Citadel chat is dominated by english speakers again now that they unabanned all the cheaters.
