Tried to breathe some common sense and non bullying into this and got 4 insta downvotes. That is all you need to know to understand this situation

If people don't agree with someone, then they could explain why, without using lies or hearsay. Then their dislike/disagreement can be fully respected. If they just bully the guy, posting memes, insults etc then it's useless. I'm subscribed to two people on twitch. Kempington and PoundOfFlesh. Figure that one out. Where is your stream then?

I agree. It's so strange that when you're new to this game people treat you like you're an actual idiot and you're not allowed the time to improve. You could be Einstein, be bronze in APB and people would call everything you say stupid because of that. Stream sniping should be strictly forbidden and this is why: Many people are reluctant to stream or stop streaming because of stream sniping (I'm one of the people who quit streaming because I got stream sniped constantly) and it affects the game very negatively since streamers are an important factor in bringing new players in. This is the "contribution" stream snipers have.

If the game is good enough, it can be named "people with guns", nobody cares, they'll play.

Well, almost but not really. The recoil in APB is only camera movement. It doesn't move the mouse pointer, so you wouldn't be "returning" the mouse point. You'd be offsetting it by an amount corresponding to the camera movement in reverse.

I'm not saying it's specifically about this or that game using this or that anti cheat. I'm saying what you can do if you put your mind to it.

Look at Battlefield 5. They are doing it right. A lot better anti cheat than basically all the games I've played, yet they're using fairfight. In BF5 cheaters get banned in 1-2 matches, even if they are not "rage cheating", even if they are only using ESP. In APB it took several months for people to get banned with fairfight and then you still had some false bans, yet in BF5 they get banned within 1-2 matches and they are not false bans. Yet fairfight was supposedly so bad that it had to be gotten rid of in APB. That doesn't add up. What does that tell you? What happened was the players complained so much about the cheaters that the dev finally decided to really step up their anti cheat effort, and look at what can be done when you put your mind to it as opposed to just throwing money at new anti cheat systems when the players complain, hoping it will sort itself out. When a dev does that, it will be true that the anti cheat system of choice doesn't matter that much.

See AcidRegulator in the chat? That's me. I saw some of it from an opposing team, so I'm pretty sure it's real. Another guy who saw it from the opposing team was their friend who sabotaged the mission to their advantage Still, nobody else but perhaps a handful of people could pull this off. They're ridiculously good players. I can't beat them. I think they're aliens or something.

Server and client sided with analysis of player behavior in one unified system. I don't know much more about EAC than that but I like the sound of it. I said RIP to the VAS C2 long time ago though when they nerfed it years ago. They really overdid the nerf of that gun. They jumped on it, kicked it, threw it in a running cement mixer for a couple of hours while shouting insults at it, then picked it up again, looked at it as it was falling apart in their hands and exclaimed: "Perfect!". Well... TECHNICALLY: "...and I'll talk about that more as we get closer to the Engine Upgrade"... See, it was mentioned True, there's a whole lot of n-tecs (if you count the reskins especially), though this one seems to actually be a bit different than the other ones (I hope), so hopefully the biggest similarity with the other n-tecs will be the name.

The reason why is because people would immediately abandon any mission at any time for any reason like: We are going to lose anyway We think they're using cheap tactics/weapons We dislike this mission type/stage We don't want to play with/against these people etc etc It'd be horrible 1v1 missions should always be immediately abandonable for a tie though, or instantly switch to some final stage specifically suitable for 1v1.
