Lokislav 25 Posted October 30, 2018 So after a month and an update I decided to start APB only to get a notification about how BitDefender decided it's an actual virus. Now I trust you guys, but I also trust my antivirus (if you have seen the statistics, BitDefender alongside with Kaspersky are the best ones out there with the highest success rate of catching an actual virus and realizing it's false-positive). I am downloading it via Steam right now, as the one I launched was from your website. It worked before, nothing bad happened, but clearly the update brought something in that AV (mis)took for a virus. Anyone else got this? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Jazeker 1082 Posted October 30, 2018 Catcher is is not the game, basically the catcher is used if your game crashes (cause on exception), the catcher then can be used to send error reports. Maybe the sending parts is a trigger now, anyway it almost 2019 if you wanna be sure just upload the file for free to virustotal and have it scanned online by like 60+ updated popular scanners simultaneously. You'll see this is a false positive. Never bad to be cautious though btw. This forum is mostly trolls dude btw. I thought that it could've been compromised and I received a 'faulty' modified version of their exes, so I decided to download Steam as I trust my Valve with all my organs.
