MageLO 167 Posted Monday at 07:38 PM Hello everyone, Our standard weekly maintenance will be held this Wednesday (01/08) starting at 9 AM UTC. The game should be back up and running in 6 to 8 hours. Patchnotes This weeks patch marks the end of the 2024 Holiday season - We hope that all of you enjoyed the festivities and had a great start into the new year! Additionally, this patch features an experimental change to two vehicles, many changes to Missions, particularly focusing on missions that ask the attacking side to deliver vehicles as well as changes to missions that had stage timers that were too short. Vehicle Balance: Nulander Pioneer: Health increased from 1350 to 1500. Seiyo Espacio: Health increased from 1350 to 1500. Dev note: The health of these two vehicles was drastically lowered a couple of years ago to combat the effectiveness of "car gameplay" and the ability to use them as "portable cover". This patch we're increasing the health back up to 1500 (was 1600) to make it so these vehicles are once again a compelling choice to transport multiple items or using their large Health Pool to help get an objective out of a tricky location. We will be monitoring the effectiveness of these two vehicles closely and if this experiment goes well we will also be increasing the Health of vehicles such as the Patriot T-25 or Dolton Montane so they continue being an option players may choose without feeling like there are much better options available. Mission Balance The following missions will no longer show the defenders the whereabouts of the attacking teams vehicles once the attacking team has successfully entered the vehicle once: BANKROLL COLLECTION ALWAYS USE PROTECTION POLITICAL FAVOR PICKUP PICK-UP FREIGHT EXPECTATIONS SPARE WHEELS SKIDMARKS REPO RACERS MAH-JONG MONEY Dev note: Vehicle missions are notoriously hard for attacking teams to complete due to the ability for defenders to pre-damage the cars, some missions made this even easier by showing the defending team where the car is at all times allowing them to pre-damage the vehicle and be ready to immediately move to its new spawn location to pre-damage it again which resulted in an incredibly boring and also frustrating gameplay loop for attackers. MAH-JONG MONEY Players will now need to deliver Dolton Fresno's instead of Macchina Calabria's. SKIDMARKS Players will now need to deliver Charge Cisco's / Patriot V20 Vegas' instead of Macchina Calabria's IMMIGRANT STORY Reduced the time it takes to Seize the vehicles in Stage 3 from 25 seconds to 10 seconds. The following missions had some of their stage timers increased from 240 seconds to 300 seconds. CAUGHT 'NAPPIN (Stage 4 & 5) DELIVER THE LIVER (Stage 2 & 3) THE PRICE OF FAME (Stage 2 & 4) CLEANING UP CONTROVERSY (Stage 2 & 4) SEEK AND DEFUSE (Stage 3) FORT KNOX HARD KNOCKS (Stage 2, 3 & 4) ONE NIGHT IN SOFIA (Stage 3) DOUGH FOR THE DOORMAN (Stage 3) DEALER BUSTS (Stage 4 & 5) JUMP THE FENCE (Stage 4 & 5) The following missions had some of their stage timers increased from 360 seconds to 420 seconds. NOT IN MY BACKYARD (Stage 2 & 4) The following missions had some of their stage timers increased from 360 seconds to 480 seconds. ANTI-SOCIAL NETWORKING (Stage 3) BANG FOR YOUR BUCK (Stage 6) Miscellaneous changes The FFA R&D III now uses the correct damage values. Lowered the Rank requirement for Rank 3 Vehicle mods from R85 to R60. Disabled the Holiday 2024 Event. Dumptrucks are no longer festive. Disabled HohohOPGL & Snowballs. Fixed hand positioning on the VAS-R2 'Crown' on both male and female characters. Fixed hand positioning on the DOW Stock on both male and female characters. The Chrome weapon skin on the DOW Stock now has the correct unlock requirement. Players in the rear seat of the Mirage are now seated higher. Fixed various typos in item names and descriptions. TheSxW 48 Posted yesterday at 12:01 PM What about: - mobile radar - .45 reballance (kills too fast - recomending to or lower fire rate or making it ghost shoot if you "click" too fast or lowering the clip ammo by 1) - its secondary weapon it shouldnt be as strong as main weapon... - ntec reballance (a good idea will be to move nssw crosshair behaviour to ntec's) - obeya reballance (kills too fast on long range and close range...) - obir (too accurate at long and close range) - vegas health is too small after previous nerf the car is literal cardboard box - concusion grenades hard damage need to be reverted on how it used to be - the nerf made it that grenades need to be throwed perfectly to actually damage a driving car, if thrown on a floor it can sometimes not damage the car at all or do like 20% damage or something like that - JG is kinda weard to play with... that dmg pellets are way too delayed and not registering properly (same with other shotguns) - broken recoil in most of of the guns shooting on lower parts of crosshair (or focusing on left or in right or on the center of the crosshair in their bottom parts - below the horizontal lines) - broken crosshair sizes with UI scaling (good scale is at 1920x1080 at around 0.6-0.7 scale - its still scrrcked but way more accurate then shooting with that small crosshair and bullets hoing outside of it) - 1024x768 resolution advantage of less bump recoil (less vertical/horizontal recoil) you can have preety much no recoil with small adjustments using your mouse while mouse-macro shooting .45 - high ping abuse need to be removed you have high ping you are at disadvantage not advantage... - you literally cant hit a guy with 200+ms (possibly add a thing to choose players based on ping also) - fix no weapon matchmaking - you can break matchmaking by getting ready with no weapons and get bronze and silver players to be played against most of the time with this method... (unless there is noone else to choose) those are from the top of my head there are more of those... good you finally changed the times of the missions... finally i can get the car and deliver it in 1 stage without having time limit of 4-5 min... PS. you can use the bug of "server not accepting shoots if shooting too fast" from some weapons to fight macros and trying to fight macro users for .45 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Moreover, LO made it quite clear that their golden concern regarding vehicular-damage is the DMR-AV. With that, they should know by now that 1500HP is no different from 1600HP as both demand 1 additional shot, both with and without HBF. There is no 'effectiveness to monitor' here. This could be too short, I think this is 6 seconds if you're using the car jack tool. And on the topic of missions, I think the security truck hold mission is appreciated by a lot of players, it's the only mission where players agree car chases and fire fights are fun, you should consider adding more similar missions to that, or at least making existing missions of this type appear more often. It has gotten a little ridiculous that you have patched EVERYTHING else but that weapon. The secondary meta is still very much lacking in this game, and it's good that you're experimenting with the primaries, but I think it's really time to do something about it. Lower the fire rate and magazine size. The weapon itself is still fine, the problem are the players using third party tools that makes them use it on any range to minimal time to kill anyone. I do not agree. I see plenty of SF9 'Yukon's, S-AS PDW's, N-FA 9's, Flare Gun's, Fr0g's, RSA Colby's and more, in every match. Your impressions and recommendations come from a higher skill based experience which is the minority in APB and knowingly the area with the most cheating players.
