  1. Finally good changes after a while. The game needs 10x more similar changes, more substantial ones. It's sad that a static crosshair took 14 years to implement.... Let's hope this patch didn't introduce new issues. I fail to see why the pack is separated for males & females and have different pricing for each? Why not make it into 1 bundle for both M/F?....
  2. - Competitive queue (1 mission per district; crim vs enf only; fixed 3vs3 or 4vs4 format) & casual queue (enf/crim Vs enf/crim; mm based on playtime and/or other factors), when? - Server tickrate upgrade, when? - District balancing, when? Waterfront is still extremely dreadful for 14 years now. Financial also has very problematic spots. See: https://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/33404-“not-so-lazy-ideas-for-map-changing”-—-ellixs-mission-district-balancing-suggestions/ - Mission balancing, when? - Vehicle balancing, when? - Longer TTK (no =<0,8s guns) with low to no bullet spread in ADS, when? - Removal of problematic mods & bloated up weapon pool, when? - In-game FPS limiter in the UI without the need to adjust configs, when? - New clothing & hair styles, when? - Overhaul of designers (car, clothing, symbols) by fixing decade old issues, when? - Removal of Scaleform segments of the UI (due to performance reasons) & opting for a Kismet (UnrealScript)-only UI, when? - UE5, when? If this is still a thing, please skip it and go for UE4.27. I have absolutely no certainty that you'll manage to make UE5 performant as live currently is right now. - New game modes (PvP, not PvE), when? - New districts, when? - New clan content, when? See: https://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/2042-game-clan-progression/ - UI Scaling fix (tied to specific resolution, crosshair gets scaled with UI and isn't correct for 1080/1440p/4k), when? See https://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/2804-resolution-differences-affecting-crosshair-and-perceived-recoil/ - MSI AB / RTSS support reintroduction, when? They don't work in live. - Melee weapons (make them do 50-100 HP damage or TTK=5-6s), when? - What happened to the Epic Games Store release? Will it ever get released there? - Any works for a new Tutorial or perhaps a fully separate district for new players? - Crosshair customizations, when? - Are there any plans to debundle certain clothing items, weapons or vehicles from ARMAS packs and place them into the Joker Store? - What are your thoughts on buffing the crouch movement speed? Something along the lines of multiplying it by 2. - Are there any plans on upgrading the pinging system? Perhaps adding a bind which allows for a user to ping a location without entering the map. - Gun bullet tracers? When? - Will you ever adjust the in-game crosshair to accurately reflect weapon accuracy, regardless of resolution? - More account lifetime vehicles, when? - New VOIP system, when?
  3. TLDR: • A completely redundant grenade type no one asked for got useless changes which won't boost it's meta acquisition. • A completely redundant pistol (bloats up weapon pool even further, +160 guns; of which ~70 are unique) gets a completely unnecessary change. • A completely bad character modification gets even worse (now it's: +30% player health; -20% sprint/run/marksman speed) I do wonder what the game designer & his (likely non-existant) Q&A team are smoking? Meanwhile: • Both districts are completely broken from a balancing perspective • Majority of guns are dice simulators & seemingly absolutely no intent to fix the underlying issue at hand. • Missions are a unbalanced mess • Majority of cars are borderline useless • Stupid mods still exist (LRR, CJ, IR, mods which affect bullet spread etc.) • No segregation between casual & competitive crowd • Game still employs Scaleform, instead of completely axing it from the game. • No in-game FPS limiter • UI scaling is completely broken since the launch of the game • Crosshair scales along with UI scaling slider (should never happen) and it isn't representative >10m • No crosshair customizations • Visuals of this game (shader-style) are a extreme visual downgrade over RTW • Tracers don't exist anymore • No new clothing/hair pieces, which have been requested for years. • No clan related content since launch of Reloaded (+14 years) • No new game modes at all • Tutorial is still terrible • Music designer & other kiosks altogether have severe flaws & defficiencies not touched upon for years • Footstep sound is non-existant • Blatant speedhackers are still present in-game, even after swapping to a internal kernel-level anti-cheat solutions. Jokes write themselves
  4. And you're wrong, I've logged on and tested it ever since and it does boost the OSMAW's walking & running speed. A slight bump of ~20–25 cm/s A missed opportunity IMO.
  5. This is simply a revival of a really great thread on the old forums. https://rentry.co/apbfinwfsug I dislike the layout of these forums, so I've used rentry instead.
  6. https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2 https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk AMD GPUs are dreadful on D3D9 (what APB runs at) I want to either translate the D3D9 calls into Vulkan or D3D11 Will I get banned? Considering that RTSS was blocked for a while recently, I have my doubts... though I thought I'd ask here.
  7. No. It's still, relatively, the same game it was back in 2015. The only new, radical changes to the game are the trading system (2018), JT store revamp (2019) & missing kiosks added in the Breakwater Marina building (2026). This all occurred during the reign of Little Orbit. Other than that, it behaves 90% similar to how you remember it behaving in 2014-2015, with guns feeling more or less worse. You'll be experiencing a 10x player count reduction, as per https://steamdb.info/app/113400/charts/#12y
  8. Can you stop using these descriptive terms and give exact values? We've had years of these terms already. Since 15th Octobe 2025, we've had the Oblivion go: Walk modifier (movement in MM mode): 0,25 → 1,1 → 1.0? (today's patch) Sprint modifier: 1,5 → 1,8 → ? (today's patch) Marksmanship Modifier: 0,25 → ? (today's patch) Oh, and the funniest part from the original Oblivion behavior thread: Namely: So, is it intended or unintended behavior? Guess the game designer cannot decide on that I still cannot understand the logic which prevents every gun in this game to have a Walk Modifier ≤ 1 It would be a breath of fresh air to the game and increase the skill ceiling by a small margin.
  9. Take heed of Kasperky's analysis & uninstall the game In-house kernel-level anti-cheat which isn't functional (purposefully) is ridiculous to put a blind eye to.
  10. It's just the game designer having no vision on how the game should be played. He likely roles a dice and tries to see which gun to nerf next. Either that, or a vocal minority of lesser-skilled players (or perhaps some of his personal friends getting owned by someone using the gun) "forcing" him into this. The same thing happened to the Oblivion in October 2025 That's sad if true... how do you know?
  11. • Not a single image using imgsli to showcase the changes to the map, the new clothing items or the new rank icons. • Not a single description of what the mods do. • Introducing a separate grenade type to compensate for fundamental gameplay mechanic issues (low TTK + large bullet spread) and map design, which will introduce performance overhead due to the particle effects • Hide EMPs to new characters to level 3 role. • Introducing the 3-slotted OPGL for permanent use, while keeping weapons such as the 1-slotted CSG & other weapons which aren't in the JT store out of sight for the players ("we'll never introduce osmaw/opgl to JT store" btw) For a patch that was +2 years in the making, of which half a year is spent on server outages (still on-going), this is dreadful. What exactly makes this patch appealing to anyone coming back to this? The game still has: • The atrocious car entrance delay (still hasn't been changed, fundamentally flawed implementation), • A non-functioning kernel-level AC • gameplay mechanics, which are the same trash for 14 years now • missions, which are a unbalanced mess, • Waterfront (remember the "We'll have another balancing pass" mention?), which is still an afterthought in terms of balancing • a UI, made out of 2 separate frameworks (Kismet & Scaleform), without a change in direction in sight, of which one is a complete afterthought in terms of design philosophy and a detriment to performance (cause it's Flash-based nonsense) What makes this funnier is that, from the last 3 AMAs, UI changes were labeled as "not high on priority list", yet the "Vault" & Leaderboards were created. • No frame rate limiter • No separate competitive & casual queue Clown show.
  12. https://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/news/2026/3/27/apb-legends 5224 days aka 14 years & 3 months have been needed to touch upon this part of the map. Hey, the map designer at least figured out how to not spam Baylan crates, bus stops & wooden planks to places on the map where it looks out of place.
  13. You're grossly overestimating the care that the management of this game has for anything and the capabilities of LLMs. Matt has been "vibe coding" the game already for over a year
  14. You're playing a game which has a population of <100 players. Most of which are veterans in this game. Adapt or leave, those are the only options. The game is in the same situation as arena FPS games.. Even worse, since the latter actually rewards skill and you can choose your opponent a bit easier, unlike current APB live... I genuinely don't understand how anyone can still play this game... or the worse part, purchase anything from the Armas store.
