  1. So, I've been working on a few international vehicles. Including a few attempt at Russian.

    For example:

     6JE238Y.jpga39iGq3.png

It would be nice however, to have the Cyrillic alphabets available so all our customization doesn't have to go into writing "Militia", "Police" or "Investigation committee".

    Thoughts?

  2. Can't believe I'm actually agreeing with NotZombieBiscuit, but they're right. It is better to focus the objective than to get the frag.

    Just kidding.

If you don't lean jump in the middle of the street with an N-tec at 100m while completely disregarding the objective or cover you're fucking shit at the game.

    Aaaand reality reasserts itself.

  3. Much as I feel your frustration, OP, your originally suggested solution isn't going to work. There have been a lot of threads discussing an assortment of methods - And not just here. This was even acknowledged back in 2015 by Mok.

I just said they tried to fix it once...failed then gave up and didn't bother finding any better solution.

LO have said they are looking at the way matchmaking and server population work and they are looking at it. Matt Scott has a profile here and you can track his posts here. See also his post, helpfully titled "Matchmaking and threat", which *should* be fairly easy to find, but I've linked for you anyway.

  4. Thank you for the feedback Mr Scott. It's good to see that something is being done, and that you are trying to be as fair as you can be about it.

Not an uncommon excuse. Sadly; It's up there with "Russians hacked my account".

ok hi look noone has said what ive asked so many time .... "how hard is it for them to lock GOLDS to gold server ??? "im asking is it hard to do"

This has been suggested before, many times. You may care to look here, here and here. Also discussed here, and here and here... there's more to be found via a simple forum and/or Google.

Matchmaking has also been discussed by Matt Scott CEO; here.

  8. Thank you for the explanation Matt and thank you to you and yours for trying to untangle the mess that is player demand.

As a near perpetual silver-threat, I can be frustrated by getting steamrolled by better players; often low-rank, high-threat "re-roll" characters (i.e. Experienced players on a new character). I'm usually older and a little slower than the bulk of my opposition, so I try to give people the benefit of the doubt where possible.

It is additionally frustrating to see a vocal minority dismissing any complaints of unfairness or cheating in the game as "Silver got rolled", "git gud" or some such without taking the time to explain how they do so well - assuming they do better than most.

    Quote

In my opinion, there is no true way to level the playing field between players without one or the other having an advantage. One player will always have a faster computer or less latency. I would argue that is not a cheating topic, that's a match making topic.

This may be where a bulk of my (and others) frustrations come from. I would be interested in seeing how match making evolves over the coming year and your plans on leveling the playing field a little.

  9. The polar bear amuses me. So does Asger.

    Back on-topic:

    • Are you sharing your Steam account? Who with? If you are; STOP DOING SO.
    • Have you given your account information to anyone? Who and when?
    • Can you see what went missing? I saw mention of a mail. I presume this was included in your ticket to support.

Contact support. Give it a couple of months because they're still slogging through the complaints and other issues left by previous management. It'll be a while, but they're slowly gaining ground on the pile of tickets.

In the interim, you may want to update your security settings. It will not get your stuff back, but it might stop something happening again.

    • Change your passwords. All of them.
    • DO NOT DUPLICATE YOUR PASSWORDS.
    • Update and run your anti-spyware.
    • If no anti-spyware present. Find some anti-spyware, update and run that. Then slap yourself on the wrist.
    • Update and run your anti-virus too.

  10. The first amendment - "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Your government will let you speak freely. It does not however, protect you from the consequences of said speech.

    Therefore, you have been downvoted.

i don't see why people become upset of people speaking cyrillic , in what is it different than people that speak spanish or any other language

    Snip.

If I could filter out everything I don't understand, I would. For me it would be convenient to have the understandable bits picked out in the busy district channels. It does however, frustrate me greatly that I do not understand the mass of Cyrillic and don't have a way to translate or ignore it.
