  1. Title did not say it all.

    IMHO -

Social district is the main place for customisation; which is one of the things that keeps me coming back to the game. It's also the main place to trade and just hang out for a bit and be, you know, sociable.

Populations thrive on community. If you don't give people a place to be sociable, you isolate them. Lacking space for downtime and AFKing leads to longer log-out times and subsequently, fewer people willing to boot the game up and hit the action and fight club districts.

For the love of god, stop wanting to nerf EVERYTHING!

Actually, yeah. Let's nerf everything. All Assault rifles should be like the STAR. Why not? That'll be fair, right? Give every class the same stats as the weakest weapon in the group.

Nothing is OP if everything is nerfed.

  4. I screenshot and report via the customer service portal.

I have a list (A very long list) of prior offenders, complete with screenshots.

I do not like Nazis, neo-nazis, or kids trying to be deliberately offensive with their SS bolts and so on. It might be "legal" where you are, but there are only a few rules in this game and I expect everyone to follow them.

TIL that the game that had leaderboards on day 1 of RTW isn’t meant to be competitive.

    who knew?

Wait, we had leader-boards back then?

Makes sense, I suppose. The lore/fluff always tried to promote the idea that Crims and Enforcers had this odd cult of celebrity around them in San Paro.

That said, how many people can name a player and say "Oh that person is legitimately a very good player and well known" any more?

Can we also bring more new stuff to give vets a reason to play and continue to play? After the first few days event districts flat line in pop as there's no reason for vets to continue to play past that with a lack of new content to keep us returning to play.

    Pretty much this.

Little Orbit wants to offer the service to Germany, so those symbols are forbidden by law in Germany

and therefore LO needs to keep the game clean of them. Otherwise legal consequences could follow.

Not sure what else changed since the blogpost of "drawing the line" which made genitals and body fluids invalid symbols too.

Thanks for posting that. I had to run it through a translator as my German is nowhere near good enough to understand the whole thing. It makes for an interesting read.

  8. Some people want to "Just push things" or "make the snowflakes mad" when they make symbols, or character customisation.

If your excuse for putting "1488" or "White Power" on the chest of your character and on your car is something as simple as that, you need to grow up.

As an aside, when I have done Soviet era Militia vehicles, I very specifically avoided the hammer-and-sickle because I wanted the attention on the overall effectiveness of livery and uniform and not on the sins of the regime.

  9. I'll assume your "friend" that was "hacked" is legit in this instance. 90% of the time, it isn't.

I would strongly suggest back-tracking and getting access to the account's email and working from there. If they were using an email that wasn't theirs, or it has expired and they did not update it, that's honestly their problem and not G1/LO's. Existing policy has always been that account security starts with the user.

You may be able to use the customer service email - it's out there on Google somewhere. You WILL need the username and at least one character name. Billing information and other proof of ownership is strongly advised.
