once again there is a steep learning curve for apb and they are making adjustments accordingly. if you dont like it too bad because we want players to stay Merged. you can argue about detrheating all you want but it doesn't change that it is publicly known how APB is not new player friendly and they are making changes to make it more so. being gold or not is only a small part of why these adjustments are being made to make the learning curve less hostile for new players. you would think you two would like APB to be more friendly towards anyone new to get more players instead of arguing against it

that would not change the steep learning curve and how new players do not know anything. dethreaters are only part of a big equation and do they know where it is? many have said in the past and recently that the tutorial sucks in different ways

New players who can talk to people in chat ( language barriers ) can ask how to get frags while some have no clue And have you ever tried to use a frag while using an alig on a pioneer running you over? It does not go well for most players unless of course youre a gold / veteran. not a new player tactic to try at all

new players are proven to not play enough to get that every week nor know about it to begin with. players who have been here a while or can speak the language to communicate with people can ask but not everyone can do that because of multiple countries that play. and contrary to some peoples belief alig doesn't kill fast enough if there's armor 3 and no clear path to shoot the target vehicle in question. for a new player it is a balance issue so they are making adjustments to see what they would like for apb.

most new players cant cope with how defensively strong those two cars are compared to the players who either unlocked those or bought them , who by then have weapons unlocked that can kill those vehicles while new players cant. its a balance issue so they are adjusting to see if this works out or not.

If a game is nothing but skill , and the learning curve is too high ( such as how apb's already is ), then not only do you not get new players , but you can also lose the ones you do have from too far of a gap. those gaps can include 15,000 dollar comps for some gaming freaks and most people dont have that. No thank you I dont want it all skill it wouldn't be good for us. ( framerates matter after all )

with ping phasing allows matchmaking through districts , and Matt Scott said before he has intentions of seeing about servers as well with ping allowing ( one of the Q&A ) So yeah if it goes as well as hoped for , then it is.

I'm assuming you either do not know or have forgotten that the community asked for this since some can buy a piece at a time but have trouble buying the whole packs at once. many different packs are being broken up like this for those of us who can not get what we want otherwise. Plus who is to say if other gear will be made for items to go with in the future ?

Allowing something isn't the same as being built for it . RTW days was early early alpha when they allowed it and it was decided against it to move to the current APB. The engine upgrade allows better opportunities for fixing core problems with APB , yet you wanted to put the cart before the horse and not fix the real problems first with a proper engine. Instead it was suggested to use any placebo you can and say it is better while even saying its not better. Who in their right mind wants to settle for second best , and your ideas weren't even that. ANY OF YOU have yet to give any solution BETTER than what Little Orbit has planned. Doubling a player pool is no where near better compared to infinity player pool possibilities. So far no real solutions were given by any of you that would be any where near good enough for making APB better than what it is now so it can succeed , which is exactly what Little Orbit has as a goal. You dont win a race by giving up , you win by giving your all to the bitter end. Whether APB can do that , only the future would know , but not doing whats right to the best of our ability out of laziness will absolutely fail APB.

I doubt the engine upgrade in itself will , but the fixes afterwards possibly can.
