There hasn't been naming and shaming since the initial use of Fairfight, and even then it was brief This was the choice made by Little Orbit: They chose to reduce toxicity by removing the public nature of bans. This means no more 3rd party toxicity orgies like FFbans, as well as less in game chatter about cheaters, since even naming and shaming in game is not allowed. One of the costs of this choice is increased paranoia. Without the public broadcasting of bans, some players have begun to question how many, if any, players are being banned. Other players just seem to miss the drama of public bans. For them I'm not sure I feel sympathy. Lol I personally would love to know data about bans. Like # of bans, ranks of bans, Crim vs Enf etc but it's not like it effects my gameplay experience if I don't.

It should come as no surprise that there doesn't appear to have been a clear policy on how to handle any descrepancy between weapon description and weapon performance. For the Yukon it's fire rate was dramatically decreased. For the True Ogre they simply changed the description. But yes, it obviously sucks that it took so much time to do anything about the Yukon, all while collecting the money of players dumping cash into JMB's in the hope of winning one, but that's not really on Little Orbit, but rather Tiggs and Co. Little Orbit simply listened to the community whom mostly thought a change to the weapon was needed.

June 2019 - Next Steps with RIOT

Different people are working on different projects. While some would prefer an abandonment of the current version of APB in favor of solely working on 3.5, I for one am glad LO has the resources to do more than that. -
No idea what he's on about.

Aside from actually doing something about dethreaters, I've always liked the idea of prohibiting r195 mods from bronze district. Of course that would be useless once phasing hits so... probably not gonna happen.

Violets are purple, btw

I paid for my cheats too. Joking aside... the mouse yes, the macros no. -

Very sad, but very true. -

Jericho might be dead, but at least I haven't seen a sus player in weeks. -
Many players do not experience the stutters and drops in frames that I do. Are they cheating too? And if not, how am I cheating by giving myself the same experience? (This is a silly argument at this point. LOs stance on the matter is clear. Advanced launcher and configs are not cheating. So honestly who cares what any of us think?)

Oooh duh. I was only thinking of player shadows. Fair point.
-
Bruh have you seen the spread on an NFAS? 10m is the damage drop-off range, not the min stk range.
-
Some of those can't be done anymore. Others are already against the rules. And how is no shadows an advantage? It's not like it removes them from your oppositions view.

Just be glad you don't know Joan tbh.

Last time I played on Jericho, one clan had 3 teams in the mode. They played as a 9 man team till the last round then just took turns winning. ... was not very fun

ahh, I see what you mean... fair enough Also for anyone wondering... "fog removal" has nothing to do with the fog we have in say the Halloween event. The fog that is removed is the haze that you see as you stare at far off buildings. For whatever reason players can see up to a 20fps increase by removing these. Here are pictures showing the difference: With fog: (look at the skyscrapers in the distance) Without fog: (look at the same skyscrapers) Top photo has brightness turned up higher than bottom. Removing fog does not effect the graphics in any way. This is one of so many little quirks that make APB run smoother. Another is simply using the Advanced Launcher to lower particle space area to below 1200. This keeps all the smoke and stuff you would normally get from explosions, but will help remove the stutters that can come along with them. These are the kinds of things most commonly done by those who use configs. Neither give an advantage but rather remove a disadvantage that the player would otherwise suffer.

I think its just bad luck tbh. The i7 4820k doesn't seem to like APB at all. Runs all other titles as well as the specs say it should, but with APB its just like "nope". And that's an important thing to remember, APB does not run the same on all rigs, and performance of APB isn't always directly proportional to the amount of computing power you have. So just because "apb runs fine on my computer" doesn't mean it will for someone else, even if they have a "better rig" than you.

Unless I feel like goofing off in chat, I play with all chat turned off. So whatever people have typed, I've not read it.

Config user here. Here is what my game looks like: And here is how my game performs with stock APB, the advanced launcher, and my config: So tell me, how is making the game playable cheating?

Is there any support in this game?
