I agree it would be very annoying to be griefed and targeted everyday, however that is a very small percentage of the population. A majority of the time when I watch a typical APB streamer they are able to play the game like anyone else. They would be prime candidates to be griefed on a consistent basis but they aren't. I am not saying it doesn't happen, but rarely have I seen a stream ruined or ended because someone is griefing a particular player. If anything they quit if they feel they are being stream sniped. It seems more like a personal issue between players and I don't think the core of APB should be changed for that.

I agree, but like you said, by the time they finish that it would be 2025. I am assuming the "new" system just uses the old random spawn points but you're allowed to chose the random point you want. Obviously the game's TTK and mechanics were very different in RTW APB, which is why we have the points/objectives where we do.

Horrible outlook in my opinion. Especially for those who supported the game for many years.

Yeah, the jump shooting on the ISSR-B is pretty insane and it's actually really fun. Lol. Should you be able to do it??....probably not.

APB loves CPU clock speed. The more you can overclock your cpu, the better frames you can get. I do not play with v-sync. I set my graphics to min and turn off AA and some other things in the advanced menu. I get 120fps for the most part. The drops are pretty unavoidable because that is just the game at this point. Hopefully optimizations can occur in the future and the drops are gone. My cpu is a 4790k clocked at 4.8Ghz and I have a GTX 1070. Hope that helps.

I voted for the "newer" system because picking your spawn is still better than not being able to pick it. I did not vote for revamp because I am unsure what the "revamp" would be. The most annoying thing about the "new" system is you might only get spawns to the south of your objective for example. I understand that the other team has to spawn as well and we don't want our opposition spawning right next to us. What are the suggestions to fix it? If we have more spawns and they are not blocked we will end up spawning next each other and I am sure that will lead to even more complaints.

First you said I didn't want it to be nerfed because I wanted to protect my meta. And then you're saying I wanted it to be removed. I first put removed, but that is a bit extreme. You really just need to reduce the hard damage a little and the gun is more balanced. Welcome to online games and toxic communities. A majority of players left because of the mismanagement of the game. The balance overall is really good in APB. I disagree there needs to be major balance changes done. I wasn't a big fan of the damage drop off patch but I have adjusted.

I understand how a streamer can benefit, but again...everyone uses Summit. He has played APB before so his viewers are aware of it. He can tweet about it, post it to his feeds, etc. I don't want to see the game changed because some noobs feel like griefing the guy whenever he plays once every 3 months. While APB was supposed to be a triple A title with 100,000+ players it isn't. It's a niche game at this point. Niche games gain population from word of mouth. Like I said before, I've recommended the game before the Little Orbit purchase and brought in 4-5 players and from what they've told me, they have spent some money on the game as well....around $200 maybe? They all are enjoying it and have played over 100 hours. I assume their close steam friends have noticed their game activity. This is how the population grows. The deadzone thing could be a good idea if implemented correctly. I am sure the trolls will still find a way to exploit it or grief whoever they want to grief. They will just block the zone with their cars anyway or whatever. You aren't going to get instant bannings, but I am sure they will receive a temp ban if reported with video evidence. As for players rerolling after their grief ban, they are going to grief regardless but I think full time griefers are a very small minority in this population. In my 5000+ hours in the game I have never been griefed to the point where it's an issue that makes me not want to play. If a sore loser takes their griefing overboard, hit them with a temp ban. Anyone with armas stuff and hours on their account will want to keep it and most likely change their way. Generally in the past griefing reports were just ignored. While I understand big time streamers are a different animal and attract different kinds of griefers, what is wrong with my idea of them (or anyone) being able to spin up their own custom district? I am sure the big time streamers have enough friends and/or followers they can invite into their district and play the game with it's core elements. Summit can still stream and play the game and not get griefed. It will still showcase the game that his viewers supposedly will play. My suggestion also benefits any player/clan who want to do scrimmages or host clan only or any other custom event. I just don't think griefing is a big of an issue for 99% of the players so I don't want to see Little Orbit concentrate their efforts on this while there are much greater issues with the game at the present time.

This isn't true. There is a lot different between the ISSR-A and the ISSR-B. For one the ISSR-A is automatic and the ISSR-B is semi auto. Both are 4 shot kills, but the range of the ISSR-B is 85m while the ISSR-A is probably 50m-60m (I am not 100% sure exactly). The ISSR-A has 3 open lots, the ISSR-B only allows 1 open slot and it cannot be a red modification. ISSR-A you can be mobile when you shoot and the ISSR-B makes you stick to the ground. I can't remember what the drop off is for the CR726 but if you shoot the ISSR-B correctly the bloom is not an issue against the CR726 once you're at like 75m+. You should be able to beat it with the Dog Ear.

Damage drop off starts at 86m and you do stick to the ground when you shoot (if you want to call that a movement penalty) but otherwise I agree with that you said. I used the CR726 a bunch and I think the ISSR-B outclasses it.

Is there any reason you use it over the ISSR-B? It's been a long time since I used the ISSR-A. Depending on your play style you can go with hunting sight or reflex sight. IR3 would probably be better than CJ3. Any purple mod would work. The gun is fun to use but the range stinks and you're never going to beat skilled ntecs, oscars, carbines, etc. Good luck though.

How is the ISSR both okay and terrible? ISSR-B is pretty OP and I agree that the ISSR-A is pretty terrible compared to other guns in it's class.

You couldn't be more wrong. I said the Dog Ear was a top tier gun and that it should be nerfed. I didn't say it should stay untouched. From the rest of your post you just seem emotional and if you think players left because of weapon balance, you're grossly misguided. I'd say a majority of people left due to the fact that G1 did nothing with the game for the last 4 years. You can counter the scout and the hvr in a variety of ways. I'll give you a nice tip....you don't need to fight the HVR from range. There are ways you can counter the dog ear as well. Since I use the dog ear plenty I am not going to share them with you, but there are certain mods and guns to use that can give dog ear owners fits. It seems to me that you want to play a certain play style and you're blaming the weapons for your shortcomings. The ISSR, Obeya, Obir, HVR, Scout, DMR are all viable and usable weapons within their class. The Dog Ear is hardly OP because those weapons are bad. Get a grip. While I'd love to see all players return, it seems like you don't enjoy the game and should reevaluate if you want to play it.

I get what you're saying, but I think there is a limitation in the game that they are unable to allow the "195" mods to be redistributed to the lower contacts. By allowing them to be on the joker store you're at least giving sub 195 players a chance to use the 195+ mods. Maybe with the engine upgrades they will be able to redistribute the 195 mods so they are unlocked earlier. If they do that, my only suggestion is to "accidentally" delete the remote det mod. I still like rewarding players for progressing though.

I agree that new players might know about the joker store and such and there could be a better tutorial, but why is it unfair if someone spends the time and progresses in the game? Don't they deserve some rewards? Is it unfair a rifleman ranked 10 has a two slot NTEC while someone else has a no slot open?

I am sniper rank 14 by exclusively using the dog ear. I've never killed anyone in .90. You can at best shoot 3 quick shots with the dog ear, wait for bloom to reset and then get off that last shot. If you're at like 50m+ however you cannot shoot 3 shots in a row and expect to hit all 3 consistently. Comparing the TTK is a bad way to show the dog ear is superior to the oblivion. Also, the dog ear a top tier broken weapon that needs to be balanced. Reduce the hard damage or something. Why do you think the Dog Ear is not a top tier weapon? I used to like the obeya but no reason to use it anymore once you get a dog ear.

Dog ear is a 3 shot kill? News to me. Check your facts again. Last time I used to Oblivion I used it just like the dog ear but since it doesn't have the hard damage there is no point in using it over the dog ear.

You're probably confusing the handcuffs icon over their head meaning they can be arrested. The icon means they can be witnessed. Once they are witnessed you can either kill them or use the stabba LTL weapons to stun and arrest them. It is not a requirement that you arrest the criminals you witness.
