  1. Hey @HelloPie, this is a good question. Thanks for checking in, and we apologize for the delays so far. Long story short, covid has been interrupting supply chains and making everything take longer than it might otherwise. We paid for the servers in April, but the service we are using has had multiple issues with their vendors preventing things from coming online. I don't feel comfortable giving an ETA at this time given the state of things, but we are working as hard as we can to get these up as soon as possible.
  2. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Can you please check the expiration when you get a chance and let us know if it has extended properly for you?
  3. Hello @TzickyT Are you able to connect to www.gamersfirst.com again, or is the site still down for you?
  4. We are extending loyalty reward codes as we speak. Please let us know if they don't extend for you in the next couple of days.
  5. Hey everyone, Depending on where you live, you may still be on covid lockdown. For others, your area may be slowly opening up. Regardless, we are in this for the long-haul, and our support for our community is similarly steadfast. We are continuing free premium for everyone through the end of August. Stay safe, practice social distancing, and use a mask if you need to venture out doors. We continue to get support tickets regarding this free grant. Before you submit a ticket, please read the following: For those of you who didn't have premium already - yay! You should be all set. For those of you who had premium before, there is currently a display issue where it looks like your premium is counting down. Please don't worry! We are aware of the issue, and there is no need for you to submit a support ticket. Your premium will be automatically extended for the length of the free premium period. You are not losing any time or missing out. If you have a reoccurring subscription and find yourself needing to tighten your belts as we remain on lock down, we understand. You will need to end your subscription manually. As above, you will get the automatic premium extension equal to the duration of this event and you will not lose any of your paid time. We hope this answers any questions you might have. Bee safe! Sakebee

If you are having issues with AutoIT, please check out our Battleye FAQ for common fixes. AutoIT can be found in some mice and hardware software, so some players can solve the issue by disabling those.
  10. As long as you are only using settings in the approved advanced launcher, you should be okay.
  11. We only ban if, at the end of our investigation, we are satisfied that a TOS violation has occurred.

  14. I can't be certain for sure without investigating further, but those screenshots are probably the result of an internet architecture blip that occurred over the weekend. Services like cloudflare and google dns had a momentary disruption which caused all sorts of websites to malfunction or go down for a brief period, including discord, etc.
  15. I can take a look, but I think that might be as high as we went for those assets. Sounds like you are rocking a pretty impressive rig, though!
  16. Hey guys, We have a small treat for you today. We were catching up with community chatter, and it came to our attention that our APB media page has been dormant for quite some time. That's on us, so we decided to do some digging and rustle up some new wallpaper art for you all to decorate your desktops with. There are 14 new pieces up now (7 criminals and 7 enforcers). They are pretty sweet, if I do say so myself, so you should definitely check them out when you get the chance. Enjoy! Sakebee
  17. The /report function also works. We do get all of those. The post explicitly calls out the support portal because it is much easier to attach video or other evidence which can help with our investigations.
  18. Hey everyone, We have seen a lot of discussion surrounding our move from EAC to Battleye. There still seems to be some confusion and misinformation circulating, so we thought it would be helpful for everyone to have a single post where they could get all the relevant details to date. Our move away from EAC was not because we lack commitment to addressing cheating in APB. It was an unfortunate but necessary change that arose when we couldn’t come to an amended agreement with Epic Games. You can read the full details here. Our initial transition to Battleye was a little bumpy as we tuned our systems. Some of this turbulence was expected and some was exacerbated by a bug in the first week that didn’t screen for some cheats we already had on our radar. This has caused some players to conclude that cheat detection under Battleye is inherently worse, but we have continued to make great strides since then. The team over at Battleye has been working closely with us to help fine-tune their systems, and we have recently reached a level where we are confident enough to scale back our manual review requirements. Of course, cheat detection is an ongoing process, and we continue to iterate and improve upon the systems we have in place, but our detection is already much better than it was when we first switched over. For those of you who are still concerned about cheating in APB, we encourage you to do the following: If you see someone who you think is cheating in game, please don’t confront them. Sometimes you might be facing a player who is very skilled, and even if you are certain, an environment where we constantly accuse each other isn’t what we want to foster here at APB. Instead, please submit a ticket to support with as much information as you can. This will allow our team to manually review the case and take action if appropriate. The more examples we can get of questionable accounts, the better we can calibrate our systems to catch what we need to catch. Finally, with the switch to Battleye, some players have had issues getting APB to start. If you are getting kicked, we recommend you check out our FAQ. We will continue to update that thread with common issues and solutions as they come our way. Thanks guys, Sakebee

  21. Hey everyone, A quick update regarding forum names that were imported with characters not supported by the current forum's naming conventions: We previously requested that people change their name themselves, but it has come to our attention that the system can block players in this situation from changing the name on their end. If this is the case for you, please do not send a ticket to support. DM @Ritual or @Sakebee with the new forum name you would like and we can change it for you. The OP will be updated to reflect this new information. Thanks! Sakebee
  22. Hey everyone, If you have been having trouble logging into ARMAS, this issue should now be resolved. Please let us know here if you are still unable to log in properly. Sakebee

  25. Hello everyone, This is an announcement to let you know that we are streamlining our Battleye banning procedure. When we first transitioned over to Battleye, we locked the system so that it could give at most a temporary ban. This allowed our team to review each case manually as we were putting the system through its paces and grant permanent bans in the follow up investigation as warranted. We have been monitoring the situation, and we are now happy to transition to direct permanent bans through Battleye. Tuning our anti-cheat to the needs of APB will always be an ongoing process, but this change should help provide clarity for players as well as freeing our support staff to help with more of our community's issues. Our current ticket response times are not where we want them to be at the moment, and this change will also free more staff to deal with our existing support tickets more effectively. If you would like to contest a ban, please contact support. For player privacy and security, we cannot address account issues via the forums or through Discord. Thanks, Sakebee
