    Opening Gift boxes

Summary: Opening a gift box means you cant get your original weapon back Description: When you open a gift box, the forced weapon doesn't register properly and does not allow you to switch back to your original weapon. Picking up another weapon results in your original weapon being dropped and the system working as intended. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Deploy a Valentines, Joker, or Christmas Gift Box 2. After opening it, your weapon is replaced. Switching weapons switches between Primary and Secondary as normal. 3. When you go to your Inventory and look at the Weapons tab, the replaced weapon shows as locked and a new button appears over the ammo button. 4. The new button is greyed out, stating "You are using your deployed weapon." and preventing you from switching back. 5. If you pick up another weapon and try again, you'll notice your original weapon gets dropped and the button now works as intended. 5b. If the other dropped weapons disappear before you can pick them up, you have to die to get your original weapon back. Pictures: After opening the box and trying to change weapons: Went and picked up another M-1922, dropping my N-TEC 7c: Back to my Inventory, i can now use the change loadout button: How many times have you recreated this bug: 4/4 Times Results: The forced weapon from opening gift boxes does not drop your original weapon, making the system think you have a new weapon as well as your old one at the same time. Expected Results: Original weapon should be dropped and the switch loadout button should function normally without needing to pick up a new gun.
  2. There wouldn't be one is the point. Wouldn't be an issue with either as its something people actually want.
  3. Outrage was a rather strong word. But i know a number of people were rather bothered by the addition. Which later dropped off cause it was a rather unique weapon that wasn't as powerful as the OSMAW at the time. I did think to compare it to the RSA being added to ARMAS however, which is a better example.
  4. Would probably be less of an outrage than when RP said they weren't going to add explosives to ARMAS and then later the AAEPD showed up.
  5. You would both choose mods that literally don't do anything. I am disappointed.
  6. Chambered round on the RSA would be hilariously OP tho.
  7. Never, there was never really a plan to do that.
  8. In CQB, sure. Otherwise the LCR still beats it down range due to its broken drop off. If you got the Old Glory, then that is even better since CJ doesn't affect the fire rate when in marksmen on the New Glory. Really it's just a worse Ursus that tries to be a better LCR, but depending on how you look at it, it both is and isn't.
  9. As Hexerin stated, that's exactly what the Ursus is. It's just using a unique version of Hunting Sight 3 that has a different aiming reticle. This is kinda where the New Glory shines as the lack of hunting sight makes it better in close quarters. But as we know, the New Glory is just a super weird and awkward weapon. Kinda unfinished too.
  10. Technically this is where the New Glory would come in. However some of us don't think the N-TEC 7 could work that way due to its base stats design. Worth to note that some weapons are designed around their mods.
  11. Legendary weapons can't be trailed and weapon trials i think reset every month or so. Also there are a handful of weapons that you can't trial. Not sure how its counterproductive to selling guns on ARMAS though.
  12. Honestly i don't really care since its been a non-issue in my experience. There is currently a bug with how it works so you can't see yours or other players weapons after they die, but in FC that doesn't really matter. FC is a place where very little matters and i like that aspect of it. What would be nice though is an actual key to drop your weapon like with items. If a new weapon launches and people want to try before they buy, it's a good way to do it as nobody really loses outside of first time buyers. I recommend leaving it on for a while and see what happens. The current implementation of it nullifies the whole 2 primary fear which is good.
  13. Popularity purposes i would assume. Quite a few people are actually interested in the HVR since it is rather unique.
  14. Trying to persuade Matt to swap the Golden N-HVR with the normal one so it's skinable. If this is the future then the "Golden" weapons are basically pointless. I'm sure it was a choice to simply test the waters with the idea since they're not new, just being changed to permanent. Shame if you buy them before the patch though.
  15. Because they're swapping out Battleye for EAC. And with EAC not functioning correctly, its either run a game with no form of anti-cheat or hold things until its fixed. Personally i prefer waiting over getting kicked every few minutes or dealing with rampant cheaters. And yeah, there's plenty of cheaters now but do you really want more for a week?
  16. I'm actually curious where you get "rushed content" out of a delay caused by EAC.
  17. Just like the good ole days when FF first arrived?
  18. It's an issue that cropped up last night when we were actually testing something else.
  19. Patch isnt even out yet, so that's not an issue.
  20. Problem with that is that there's more reasons for it happening than just that, and once it starts, have to reboot the game to make it stop. You'll just have to wait for that Golden N-HVR 762-SD Dvah to drop to see anything.
  21. Last second issues are a thing. We had only discovered this particular issue with it last night after a day or two of testing things.
  22. Yes. Hence why it's better to delay things than roll out as is.
  23. You get kicked every 5-10 minutes for some auth issue. Various reasons on why that happens apparently.
