I love this idea. It's incredibly frustrating to be in a really lopsided mission. It could be handled similarly to requesting mission leadership with a voting system.

So there are a number of problems with VIP missions that still need to be fixed. Players abandoning the mission before op creates balance issues and it's just not fun being VIP IMO. I have had 1v1 VIP missions when multiple teammates abandoned before the mission started and I didn't have time to. Even a 2v2 VIP mission doesn't feel balanced and I know LO tried to remove those but they still happen thanks to /abandonmission. A bigger issue for me and my team is that being VIP just sucks. The entire enemy team constantly has your location and you basically just have to try to hide behind teammates until the match is done. IMO VIP missions should either be removed or fixed. Some fixes I can think of are having a VIP on both sides and maybe even have that VIP switch to different players if the current VIP dies. I played another game with VIP missions that used this method and also awarded extra points to the team when the current VIP killed an enemy. I think something like this could make VIP missions actually kinda fun. I know some of these changes would probably be hard to make in the current state of the game but I'd just appreciate not being stuck in a VIP mission periodically whether that means removing them or making some changes.

So I'd like to offer my experience being a new player in 2014 to shed some light on what really frustrated me. Basically I joined the game and went silver after a few games because I could shoot in a straight line (seriously it's too easy to get silver). Then when I logged back in I didn't know how to use advanced district select and auto-joined silver. This was a terrible experience with teammates yelling at me over voip and being very toxic because I was bad. Ended up quitting the game for about a year. When I came back I figured out how to use the advanced district select to get into bronze and tbh the dethreaters were annoying but not that bad. I still enjoyed the game. The real issues I faced as a new player was just not knowing how the threat system worked and a very toxic playerbase that just screams insults instead of saying anything useful or helpful.

Just gonna hop on here rq and share my frustrations with med spray. I like to use scout a lot and I have been struggling vs med spray. For example, I shot a guy, he med sprayed, then I shot him again and my teammate finished him. This second shot was no more than 2 seconds after the first (probably closer to 1) but I got an assist for one scout shot (58). I think med spray should be nerfed because there's no way you should be able to recover that quick in apb.

I have an RTX 3060ti and also have issues with the game freezing on spawn screens. Basically my ez fix is to ctrl+alt+del then hit cancel when that comes up. It almost always unfreezes for me then.

If you sell about 500 trading cards or other steam game items you could buy G1C with that money. Orrrr you could get some cash money. Goto local gas station. Buy paysafecard, steam gift card, etc., buy G1C with that and just not tell your parents. ^-^
