If by this comment you mean that you're sitting there, paying prayer to the sun gods that your character is still a clone: Once the server issues are fixed again, or remedied for the meantime, your character will automatically correct itself, or be respawnable.

Sounds like it's behaving similarly to my crusty ole modem. The way it hits a dark zone around the same stretch every night, regardless of magnitude. If it's Xfinity, smack 'em good.

Makes me wonder if Merchant / Trainer functions are server-side. I mean, it seems that obviously that's the case, but... I wonder what the root cause of this is, and what ultimately causes it to repeat almost daily.

I've been checking. When the first spike happened, it lasted about 10 minutes, and included the interactions with Fast Travel, Mail, and Auction Automated Sending going dark, on top of the Garage/Mount Managers becoming non-functional, where-as you may also notice that during these spikes, the mobs you're fighting will not respawn once killed. I gave a report of this to Cyphered at the time whilst the game had returned to normal functions. Four hours later, the game returned to this state, and refused to regather itself, resulting in what is currently happening. Hopefully a fix will occur shortly, or it'll sort itself out in a reasonable time. I'll keep checking as long as I can. I'm awaiting my ability to push to level 55 on my crafter tonight, so hopefully this gets sorted. You're not wrong, was just a concept, however I would like weapons with mods like grenade belts, or a device like a 1 minute auto-turret deployed with a 10dmg per shot like a minigun, that could be destroyed but has a 10 min CD Something like an attachable rifle launcher, or drum mags for pistols etc, that can create a new gun in entirety that is re-balanced to help out crafters with self defense, and add a cool touch to the game that encourages crafting and self-sufficiency for the cooler rewards.

Now imagine if a new chapter of faction lore came into play with a central PVP war zone on a new sector, and these faction gears were released to trump GT gear with those benefits you listed, and then equated to a new max level: 60

I left that Discord. It's disgusting, and none of what they said was warranted to any degree of common sense, or societal moral standards. I actually started to lose my temper watching that trash for the first time in over two years, and I like to keep everything in my life zen, calm, balanced. I'm truly sorry to the Little Orbit team. I will not stand for that kind of behavior in my life or around it. I feel as though this was a childish direct attack and slander, and I resent their behaviors as they continue to be allowed within the community at all. I agree with a ton of that, but don't restrict abilities to Factions because then people are joining factions for the wrong reasons, and I feel as though it would greatly effect the quality of PvP if some people had the crucial empathic heals and others did not.

Honestly, I always remembered it being about a one hour deal, four hours tops depending on what all it covered. This one's standard, so within that window. It's already been a couple hours since their "Start time" so shouldn't be much longer.

So, we've got one guy complaining about 8 something am, even though this was based on Pacific Time.... And one guy is complaining about not seeing any new content over the course of what... 8 years? Last I checked they added EVERYTHING over 8 years...

I definitely appreciate the idea of making factions matter, and turning faction battles into a thing, especially since that's how it still remains for any lower levels who play, who've not yet been corrupted by the new age mindset of today's end-game PvPers. I feel as though Faction was an important role in immersion, but I'm not quite sure how to go about making it important again. There's so many torn feelings as far as a yes or no from my end to your suggestions, but... we will see in due time.

This may have been answered elsewhere, but it's currently 3:00AM, I checked the game at 1:00AM, not online. So my question is did you mean to say it's going down at 4:30am, or did you mean to say that the game maintenance is being completed by 4:30am?

I mean, we could rewind time and never be bought out, and this game could be gone. If you're that upset, and can predict nothing aside from failure, then why are you still here? Obviously there's something that you're not admitting, and you just need to understand the two outcomes. Either we get fixed, (which is basically a surgical procedure and dodging landmines to make what we love whole again), or we get no Fallen Earth at all, and I can tell you one thing I'm NOT having that happen any time soon.

I don't wanna be bashful but this general console rage mindset is the reason I will never own a PlayStation, nor will I ever even bother trying to affiliate with the community. And yes, usually it's Sony's fault, considering they're the same people that vito'd attempts at cross server compatibility and any other forward thinking motion put onto the table, they tend to shut down very quickly for their own financial secrecy and benefit. (Remember, this is the same company that buys out amazing story based single player games and makes them exclusive to force a cash flow, and limit the consumer market of other gamers)
