VPN to lower latency.

My latency is around 290ms connecting from Australia But with VPN I gain 190ms, is it okie to use for lowering latency.

As long as you're not breaking any other laws by/while doing so, then it should be fine.

the thing about VPN tunnel service is that your IP changes.

Changing your IP on its own is not an issue, it becomes more of an issue if you use that to circumvent local laws.

 

Like if I were to VPN out of Belgium to buy JMB's again, that would be illegal.

 

But just using it to get better routing shouldn't be a problem

This shouldn't cause any problems.  I used to use a gaming vpn service called WTFast and it actually helped a lot.

I play from South Australia, i get a ping of 220 without vpn. What vpn are you using, i might look into this, or is there another way of mapping/directing the connection to the servers more directly?

it depends on ur routing 220ms should be average for u, im from victoria.
