APB:Reloaded Networking Update

Hello everyone,

 

we would like to share an update regarding the Networking issues we've been experiencing the last weeks.

 

Our network provider has been under constant large scale DDoS attack for the last 2 weeks.

 

We have made the decision to switch providers to a more stable network to stabilize the game as soon as possible.

 

That effort started today, and we hope to stabilize the game by the end of this week.

 

Following the stabilization of the game we're going to be compensating players with some G1c to make up for the instability that all of you have experienced in recent weeks or even months.

 

We apologize for the inconvenience and Thank you for your continued patience as we try and resolve these issues as fast as possible.

@MageLO  after each update there is always some error with the game. Currently i got issue with this error! Even though everything was good yesterday and I played yesterday normally.

As mentioned in the original post this will happen when the game has stabilized - We're still making large changes to the new network throughout the week to solve any remaining issues players may experience which is why we have not started compensating players for the previous networking issues on the old provider yet.

This is provided for in the project development plan, but is not a priority. Unfortunately, the development team has to spend all their energy washing their pants.

(It is noticeable that even the regulars of this forum have lost all interest in it.)

I'm more finding it funny that with all the suppose GMs devs fourm mods and so on and so forht not a single one of them has tried to answer my question.

 

With the past history of LO there going to figure out how to screw this up royally

District Enter Failed
District Enter has failed due to connection problems with the server (error code 8).



APB.exe is unsuccessfully trying to connect with 92.62.247.9, 92.62.247.112, 92.62.247.113, 92.62.247.116, 92.62.247.117, 92.62.247.120, etc - this only happens to NA characters on NA servers.
Because I can play EU characters on EU servers.

They stopped apologize for all the trouble now, it's on daily basis servers going down.

Is the game working? After selecting a character, I get to the main screen. There are 200 online players on Steam charts. Repair, removal and old methods of solving the problem do not help. And most importantly, there is no information about the status of the game anywhere. The forum, discord, and steam page do not provide any information.

Starting the game from the apb.exe in the binaries folder seemed to work for me. A friend reset his router and had his problem fixed.
