Welp the long shot mod seems worthless, not even as good as IR3.

The one piece swim suit has dark blotches on her bottom and hip area.

We know I'm disappointed with the mirage lights.

That said, There is really no reason to grind out. 

The servers lag.

The pop is too toxic to try to fix up a car and a swimsuit to show off.

Your contacts are locked in wf.

It is too hard to wait to get into a full server. 

I will say I can appreciate the efforts towards new content.

However the game has not been the same since desegregation.

it’s not the best placement (or the best prop) but it’s 100% useful

 

thats how i feel about all the map changes tbh, decent first step, but it took 6 goddamn years - and probably will take 6 more years before we see the next changes

The obvious purpose of that ladder is to provide attackers another access point to that rooftop spot (as there was only one access point prior). However, with the location that ladder is in, attackers literally cannot make use of it. The defender(s) up top will automatically kill any attacker that tries to climb it, and respawning defenders can just shoot the attacker off of the ladder as they attempt to climb it (there is always a respawn point somewhere within vision of that ladder, due to how respawns work in that area of the map).

 

There's numerous other ways they could've provided access to that rooftop, all of which are obvious and similarly easy to implement. There's also a few ways they could've simply made that rooftop not such an automatic win location, all of which are also very obvious (albeit harder to implement, because they would require actual map design work).

So they removed a subtle way, and slapped in big obvious "ACCESS ROOFTOP HERE YOU IDIOTS" when simply adding a prop to give permanent camera access would have looked better and felt more rewarding for those that used it. At least I would have liked it better, as it requires more skill and leaves you less exposed than the ladder climb.

I mean yea, technically that was a second way up. I'd argue it's more of a bug/exploit kind of thing though, just one of those "this is a bug, but we'll leave it in because it's beneficial" things. In a way, that was actually better than the ladder, too. The attacker could defend themselves as they make their way up, assuming the defender didn't just conc the car.
