are headlights impossible on current engine, or would they just be really laggy?

not sure the current engine supports dynamic lighting, it was one of the goals for the original engine upgrade but who knows where we ended up with 64bit

U mean like moveable or aimable spot lights or flash lights, car head lights.

Dark areas where you wouldn't see the enemy unless the light exposed them.

Where a cop would have alternating flashing head lights that actually lit up the road.

Its one thing the game is missing. 

 But with one person or less working on the game and if they did it, it would

blow the server, servers being so fragile.

Pretty sure there were at one point the headlights would be on. However, they never cast any light...

the engine is not that good this is things that work better in engine 4 or 5
